Introduction: Hello I’m Nuker and I’m currently 14 years old! Some may wonder why I’m applying for helper but here I am. So let’s get on to my Minecraft life! I have owned many towns big and small and been co-mayor of some of the larger ones such as Detroit and Mooville! I have a great ability to create new ideas and think of ways to implant them into the game of MineCraft. Reason for this application is for meep to gain a good talented staff member. While I may have a long ban record I have changed and believe others can change! I’m also from Texas! Thanks for reading this far!

Why should you be Helper? Good Question isn’t it? I should be helper because of the assets I can bring into meepcraft such as brand new ideas and commands! I have been manager admin and builder and mod on many different servers so I am well aware of the responsibility and hard work staff positions take. While my ban record is extensive I wish for staff to overlook this and look on my character in the past 4 months of my unban as I have been helpful kind and thoughtful. Most people in my town and friends in meep would say I’m kind, hardworking, and energetic! Thanks for reading this far!

What are your weaknesses? A perfect question for a new staff member? Patience is my biggest issue as I’m not sure if I did the right thing in a quick amount of time. To fix this issue I would take into account how would it affect the player or how will it affect the server.

Though you’re a really kind kid, I’m a -1.

• Your application was weak, especially the « why » section. I recommend you break up that part into different strengths, and focus on them next time.
• Unfortunately, I can’t judge this without taking into account your ban history, it’s something that only time can erase, and you’ve only been unbanned four months ago.
• Though I absolutely love your enthusiasm, staff isn’t something that you’re good four months for. Having been banned does not affect your career, or some staff members wouldn’t be in the team today, but the time after it does. I’d recommend you reapply in four or five months time, when you’ve completely given the time to prove your abilities, and prove your that your previous behavior is truly behind you.

What would you offer as a staff member that is different from the other applicants, apart from saying ideas and commands.

I have scammed twice and those were both 2 years ago. My most recent ban (February 21, 2017) was for something I’d rather not say. Overall In the year since that ban I believe I have changed a lot. I strive to never be banned again so I can play meepcraft with the full knowledge of the rules and ways of things.

Point 1, I do see what you mean why it is weak.
Point 2, I realize that many people can’t live with staff member with a extremely long ban record.
Point 3, In the year since that ban I’ve gone above and beyond with over servers in being a great helper staff member. I strive to be enthusiastic about being a staff member or player on every server I come and join. I do realize most staff members now days have had a few bans because we as humans just aren’t perfect so we will get in trouble with the rules sometimes.

I’ve noticed in the past you’ve had trouble keeping your cool when people are purposely trying to get on your nerves? How would you overcome this?

I feel like you have the potential to become a staff member in the future, but you need to make it clear to everyone that you can be a good helper, and do everything in your power to show that you changed from the last time you were banned.

I would suggest you first work on writing a good application in google docs or some similar program. Write what you think would make the best aspects for a helper; for the sake of this experience, fabricate if you need. Next, list what you think you need to become better at. Look at your ban history, what happened to get to there. For example, my ban history in the past (like two years ago was my latest ban) revolved mostly around losing my cool after feeling like I got scammed in some way. So before my first application, I worked extremely hard on making sure I kept my composure even when someone was trying to purposely make me angry, or intentionally scamming people/abusing a gray area.

My point. You need to look at all of the negative feedback you get, work on it until it is clear to everyone that plays in game that you worked on it. Once you’ve reflected on what you think would make the best helper, and what you struggle with (and fixed it), write your genuine application, and post it. I know it may seem like it’s frowned upon, but talk to a current staff member about applying for staff. I’m not saying try to make them biased for you, but explain how you want to be helper and why, what you’ve worked for, and if they’d help you with your application. Not only will this get a second set of eyes on your application, you will gain respect, and potentially a reference.

For now, I’m a -1. I feel like there is a process you need to go through to prove to the community that you could be as good of a helper as I think you can be in the future.

Edit: Additionally, I still don’t know what the whole drama was last year around you, how much was you and how much was other players trolling. But it might be useful to address that aspect of your past and how you’re moving past that. Don’t blame people, but don’t accept fault for something you didn’t do.

 

Take some time.

You’ve gotten a lot better and I think everyone can agree on that, but you’re still not ready. There’s still things you need to learn before I think you could be a good asset to the team.

Take a solid year of being a friendly member of the community, and gain experience and reason through out those months.

 

Part of being a staff member is owning up to your mistakes and acting mature about them. Also, your application was very weak and short. -1

Very sorry, but -1 because you don't get along with every player. You also blame others instead of admitting to your own mistakes. Your application is also incredibly weak. Take a look at @Courtneyyy 's guide to help strengthen your application, but editing it now is not recommended. Wait a few months to prove to players that change has really occurred.
I would like to add that you and @Adam34falcon cannot get along when they see each other's presence. I've learnt how to cope with some of the players I would rather not speak to. I've practiced that by greeting a player I dislike and getting a tiny bit involved in conversations with them when there's also other people involved too.
Maybe practice this skill and follow mine and everyone else's advice to have a chance to get helper.

Not one time have you greeted me. You are always so quick to attack and can't take criticiscm. That right there proves you have no reason to be in the staff team.

Don't take it personally, but you were a CONSTANT troublemaker on the server until you were permanently banned for a long while. Every turn, you tried to make a buck out of everything. Making yourself well-known as a desperate scammer. And since you were recently unbanned a month or two ago, it will take a very long time to actually trust you as a staff member.

Now, I understand that it has been almost a year since your last ban and that you've tried to change yourself. But you've damaged trust for multiple users on Meepcraft. And you did come off as rude, even unable to accept criticism when it came to confronting you about certain issues.

If you understand how applications work, people will look at your past and what choices you've made to see if that adds up well for your position as a staff member. Saying this at the end already ruins your application.

Second half of this sentence belongs to applying for Tech, not Helper. (Although, it is nice to suggest some ideas and plugins, but leave the coding to the tech-savvies.)

This needs more information. Knowing you, patience isn't the only weakness you need work on.
