Yes, but that word is a noun. Seeing as Jwarian used it as a verb in his statement I'm pretty sure he was just trying to spell fix and was not attempting to whip out the advanced vocabulary.
I'm just giving you a hard time. In America we often do use nix, more informally, to mean removing something.
If I were to grant the liberty of paraphrasing or interpreting my actions to anyone on here, Deinen would be first on the list. Unless it involves /bank, in which case you should probably talk to me about it directly.
problem: wheat is generated item. same for carrots and potatoes. what about those? and sapplings and wood. also generated. all blocks in minecraft are generated lol.
Got a link or some verification on this? Its been known since... forever, and has stayed in the game. In 1.8 builds, it was removed, but then added back again. To me, it doesnt seem to make much sense to remove it in pre release phases, then make it work again for the release, only to remove it again 2 updates down the road.
I wholeheartedly agree with the principle of your argument, however, I think that the concerns on this also need to be weighed in. You can 100% have automatic farms and sell to other players uninhibited, as that generates no new economy. However, if you were to make, along with 10 other players, automatic farms that could net you 100K, or 300K a day simply by selling things into /warp shop, we're soon going to find ourselves in the same economic woes as last time. Before long we would risk seeing millions and millions enter the economy every day. The only real solution I see in this is to nerf the prices in shop so much that you simply couldn't generate a massive sum of money, but a decent income of no more than 100k a day. However, this would come at the cost of the average player, who is trying to sell those same items, but have no mega farms.
Regarding the sign in the shop, I think it should be edited to say something different. I have noticed that the term "generated items" have caused much confusion. This could be taken as many different things. I think that if automatic farms are illegal, the admins should create a rule board in the shop to prevent confusion of any kind regarding generated items.
This is accepted & In the Works. Currently it is legal items from a legitimate auto-farm/grinder to the /warp shop. Generated items mean spawned in, duped, or brought into the system via any non-legitimate way. We will work on getting a more clarified and nuanced standard out to the public shortly.
