Making money easier For New comers.

I heard Fuzzlr say many times in shout that he's primarily focusing on improving the economy, making drifters feel more comfortable with the server, and make money easily. I feel like that's what a good owner should do, but after some thought here's what I came up with.

When you first come on meepcraft, and you finish the tutorial, there will be another one that would be optional and would show them how to make money more in depth, and some business ideas. They never really get a good gist of it, So this would ease there way into becoming successful at making money. It would kinda be like a prison. You would have to clear plots, break trees and sell it. Accept instead of buying ranks like From A, to B, to C you would just do this process until they reach I don't know, lets say 20,000. After this, they can have some money in there pockets to pay taxes, and work well in the economy. Plus, they would get a idea of how our economy works.

+1 most of the people who come here have no clue what an eco-towny server is and are stuck without a way to make hardly any meebles

honestly I accept anyone into my town and end up paying for most of their taxes so they don't get a towny wipe because they mine and don't sell the stuff and any idea i give them ends up in a failed attempt

+1 This is a good idea, but I think that 10k would be enough for them to get a p[lot and pay taxes easily. 10k is a good enough start for them. If you wait til 20k, the price of VIP in meebles might go up higher than it already is.

Yes, I'm gonna be honest I am trying to perform this task. I know people think Im desperate and all, but I mean why not? If Panda, landonator and adloves get staff I think the majority of us can. By the way hornemans, Sorry I answered that way it's just that your post seemed so nice compared to other ones.

 

Everyone is always advertising to buy Neitherack, that is a great way for drifters to get money.
Or they can harvest sand and sell it in the shop for 1.5 meebles each.

If they are good at Parkour, or KitPVP, both are good ways to make money.
Voting gets a min of 6000 / day.
Now we have Spleef, yet another way to make money.

If you want to help players make money and be successful, talk to the new players, try to pull them under you wing, and show them the ropes a little.
Give them suggestions on how to make money, maybe give them semi-god iron tools, some good Pwarp locations....
Be a Big Brother / Big Sister for them.
Then if you really are interested in getting staff, I imagine this would look good on your meepcraft resume.

I think at this point it should be more of a community effort to help and retain new players.

Your concerned about town town taxes, I have told players that they should not join a town for more then 100/day per plot.
if they follow this, with the 5500 meebles they start with after they finish the tutorial, , they should be good for more than a month, with money to spare / burn.

 

That will be fixed soon, but there need to be more equal ways to make money. There are many ways to make money, you just have to work for it.
