Removal of KitPvP

I know everyone is going to hate this, but remove it.

Terrarium is dead, and it is 100% because of kitpvp. Terrarium gains the attention of players that will play longer and stay in the community.

Please remove it.

-1, while it is true that the arena is basically dead because of kitpvp, it doesn't mean we should remove it. Part of the reason that people prefer kit is because you don't lose anything in Kitpvp, while in PVP, you basically have to risk using good armor if you want to try to kill someone. I would prefer to change the arena, but not remove KitPVP.

 

I disagree. I would say its more of the high price to pvp. Full god costs pus bow costs like what, 80k? this means that those who aren't elite at it don't really do it. Also there is the possibility of losing your head, which deters a lot of players from pvp since a players head could be valuable and has sentimental value. Plus its only practical for elite+ for /fix purposes.

Well, considering that a) Every time I go into pvp and face supervladimir, legendcaleb, or someone with either a team or multiple gapples, I die, and I have god armor, and b) a full god set costs 80k, and c) most people can't afford that, I think there's a reason why /warp pvp is underutilized.

 

-1, new players who come to pvp dont have 80k right away for a god set.
KitPVP helps/gives the new players and citz an easy and excessible way to fight their friends with out having to spend all of their meebles. The kits aren't exactly fair, but you can still earn meebles.

 

definite +1, like chaase said, it draws players away from terrarium. Not only this, but kitpvp SUCKS. The kits are too OP. The cits stand close to no chance at all... At best, kitpvp is a place where exclusives+ go to farm money by killing noobs...

Defiantly a -1. In kitpvp players can pvp without worrying about losing their gear, and it is also a source of income for some players.

 

-1, there is no need for KitPvP to be removed, its a plugin that I'm sure most PvP'ers on here like; And its good for newer players to play without the worry of losing any stuff (And they probably wont have enough money for a decent kit for Terrarium, at the time)

The reason I have =1 one because there is both pros and cons. The pros of terrarium that it can attract players that will stay on, like you said. But, as Metr0 and Metzy said, a full god set would cost 80k, unless it was made, which the time to get the enchantments and diamonds from just joined players would be around 2-3 hours. That means most players - like epic said - would avoid it, which has led to it being dead.

But I'm not saying kitpvp is perfect either.

Kitpvp is WAY over-powered for donators, which get kits that do twice the damage and take half the damage - and which for citizens - is a problem when your best chance of a kill streak is 1/1000, and each non-kill streak kill is only 50 meebles. That means that most new players would see the earnings to prices ratio and abandon it, and maybe even abandon the server of they cant find a way to make money. But for days when donators aren't on, I could make 1k in an hour, and for new players that haven't learned how to sell on global, is alot of meebles.

So what I believe is that both of them need to be updated to fix those main problem.
