Spawners For all ranks?

I think all ranks should be able to have spawners beacuse i've seen so many Meepers below elite+ trying to buy/sell spawners. I believe if you want elite and below to enjoy meepcraft even better, you should allow below elite+ to own spawners.

Having spawners set as an elite + perk is huge, it opens up a whole new market. The fact is is that we don't want to devalue elite. We want to make elite worth it's money so we get more donations. If we allow everyone to own spawners, there won't be as many donations, therefore not as good of a server, less updates... you get it.

1. Well what i meant is them being able to have access to like zombie spawners Sorry i was not very specific. But yes it had crossed my mind that it makes elites not so special I think that maybe not citizens but VIP+ should have access to some types of spawners. <3

Owning a spawner is not required to access one. Any rank can have access to any spawner if the Elite+ who owns it has placed it in a location that is publicly accessible, and granted any perms needed. There are many such located throughout Meepcraft, some accessible to anyone, and others restricted to town residents, town residents who pay for access, etc.

 

If you give all ranks ownership of spawners, you will destroy the value of the Elite rank.

Sure, if you want to make meep more like a faction server, which no one in their right mind wants. No offense, but this suggestion is horrible. It'll make spawners worth less in value and there'd be horrible noob grinders all over meep. Elite+ is good for spawners and I think it should stay that way.

 

-1 If we take spawners off the elite+ list, less people are gonna donate. If we do do this, in 20 years we'd probably have no perks for donating.

I see a couple issues with this suggestion.

1. This server is run of donations, no donations means no server. To make it worth wile for players to donate we have perks like mining spawners for elite+ and /fly for ultimate. If we were to give the mining spawners ability to lower ranks that would mean that people wouldn't want to donate for a higher rank, because it is not worth it without that perk. Of course people would love to have the ability to mine spawners from day one but sins we need money to run the server we can't do that.

2. Some of the fun on meep is that we have rank sellers. If you buy ranks from rank sellers you do not have to use IRL money and by doing that you are still helping the server. Working your way up the ranks is a part of the fun on Meep in my opinion. If we let everyone start with everything I do not think we would have such a great community today.

 

I have a better idea, why not everyone ultimate for free.

Denied, mining spawners is one of the biggest perks for elite. Why would people advance in ranks if they hadmining spawners from the begining. Have a nice day
