I agree with @SpanishSpider, at first you were quite mean, especially to me.

But since then, I've gotten to know you better and you seem really nice. I think you should spend a little more time on MeepCraft before applying though.

When did you join Meepcraft? 2/26/14

Introduction: My name is _Peridonyx_, also known as Peridon, Peri (which commonly causes confusion between PeriHeika and I), and Madison. I am an avid Minecraft player (I play nearly every day) and a well-rounded student outside of the world of gaming. I am a 4.0 GPA student with leadership positions within my school’s STEM Robotics club (President) and teams (Student Mentor), as well as in Student Council (Leader of Fundraising Committee). I regularly perform community service (volunteering at the local library as a helper that shelves and organizes books, helps visitors with finding books, and keeps the library clean! I have completed over 150+ hours doing this since June 2015; a community service task I must complete as a member of Student Council). At school, I am usually the person (ehem.. nerdy girl) that people ask if they need help with anything related to mathematics, science, and technology (I have background coding experience, although unrelated to the position of which I am applying for XD). Outside of school (besides MeepCraft), I swim and surf/snowboard (depending on the time of year); I LOVE to design and 3D-print various objects, program, watch Steven Universe, Regular Show, and We Bare Bears, and ‘surf’ the Internet for anime and Steven Universe memes!

Why should you be Helper?

To start off, out of any Minecraft server that I have ever joined, MeepCraft has the most incredible, tight-knit community of players, who never miss an opportunity to make friends, to share good times together, and to help each other. Having a bad day? You can always make new friends on Meep that will brighten your day, guaranteed! I have made countless acquaintances and friends that I would have never even known about, had I not have joined MeepCraft nearly two years ago. I have found Meep as a way to help expand myself socially; I have encountered so many unique personalities through Meep that have broadened my perspective of the world. MeepCraft has definitely changed my life for the better, and it would be my absolute pleasure to help other users experience the warm and friendly vibe of MeepCraft.

Now.. Why should I be considered for the Helper position?

-Mature, but can be fun (a tad bit immature) at appropriate times: As stated, I can be friendly and fun at the right time and place; I can socially connect with other people pretty well, and I believe that I have what it takes to help make others feel as happy and joyful as I do when they chat on /g. However, I know clearly when serious business needs to be attended to, and I proceed to do so in a professional manner.

-Active: I consider myself to be pretty active on Meep, especially on the weekends when I don’t have anything school or extracurricular-related scheduled (take a look at my hours above). You will usually see me mostly on Minecraft and TeamSpeak throughout the day, but I usually spend the most time on the forums in the early morning and/or late afternoons (Pacific Standard Time Zone, of course! ), unless I am busy (or sleeping) at those times.

-Experienced: I am experienced with various aspects of MeepCraft, including but not limited to towny and plot commands (especially, being the owner of two metropolis towns myself), /warps and /pwarps, /tpa, one (maybe two) staff commands, the Meep economy, rank features and commands, the forums, and TeamSpeak. Whenever staff is unavailable and questions are asked in /g, I enjoy helping the people who ask questions, even if it means to put down whatever I am doing at the moment (no matter how important) and /tping to these people to help solve any problems, or just simply providing them with detailed answers through /g. I believe that if I was granted the position of Helper, I could help the users of MeepCraft in even greater ways, such as helping with /modreqs.

-Compassionate and Overall Kind: I consistently try my hardest to be as compassionate and kind to others on the server as possible; I have always had one motto that I have stuck with for much of my life: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”, specifically meaning that before I make any post for anything online (even a simple line of /g chat), I imagine what it would feel like if someone said the exact same thing to me, and this philosophy has worked out quite well for me. I will be completely honest: I realize that I did struggle with this in the past (one of my past weaknesses); however, I sincerely apologize for my past actions and firmly believe that I have 100% learned from these past mistakes, because I have seen how other people treat me back.

For example, as many of you have seen, I greet many people on MeepCraft with “Hello <3” and “\^o^/” or “Bye <3” (and “Hello” on TeamSpeak) to show that I care about when people are present on the server. I often do give people second chances at maintaining good relations with me, if they have made mistakes in the past, if it seems that they actually made legitimate mistakes. I try to spread my love of MeepCraft by hosting many drop parties in Spawn aimed towards Citizens and users who may not have as much stuff, giving away free plots in my towns to users, and sending kind messages and Meebles to people who need them. A little less important than the examples above, but I also try to spread cheer on TeamSpeak through tons of giggling and LAUGHING! (sometimes it gets so intense that I have to mute my microphone XD)

What are your weaknesses?

-Occasional immaturity on the server, forums, and TeamSpeak (but I realize when it is appropriate to make jokes, and what types of jokes are appropriate): As stated above, I can (and I do enjoy) occasionally be fun and immature, when the time is right to do so. I believe that this weakness can depend on multiple perspectives; one user may think that my occasional immaturity is funny as heck, but another may find it very annoying.

-Can be Too Trusting: On occasion I can place too much trust in people (for various reasons) and, as a result, I have been manipulated/betrayed at least a few times in the recent past, particularly with towny business. Currently, I try my absolute hardest to look for potential red flags when people do favors/give me stuff, but I always strive to be polite at the same time!

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: In all honesty, I still would (and currently do) love to help other players in the ways that I already do, even if I was denied the Helper position. However, this does not mean that I won’t ever apply for Helper again if I am denied. Because of that, please feel free to leave me any comments (positive and negative), questions, and especially CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM!~ I would love to hear anything that you would like to suggest!
