MeepCraft's Greatness!​

Hey guys! MeepCraft is a great Minecraft server. It has such a great community, fun minigames, and incredible staff members. This made me think of a question. This question is a question that can't be answered with a yes or a no. This is my question:

Why do you like MeepCraft?

I'm serious; what's your motive to keep playing? Why is MeepCraft important to you. It's certainly important to me. I like MeepCraft because:

- There is just the right amount of players online at a time.
- I made caring internet friends while playing.
- Staff members ALWAYS help me when I post a /modreq.
- I get to govern a virtual town! How cool is that?!?!
- It's fun!

Every once in a while, I'd stumble across a rankist, a hater, an advertiser of other servers, or something else bad. But the great things about MeepCraft absolutely outnumber the bad things. Thank you for this awesome server! I mean it.

So what's your reason for liking MeepCraft? Tell me!

 

I consider it a good amount. It's good enough for me, not too little, not too much.

 

What keeps me playing is towny and the great community.

 

1. Unique towns/economy aspect
2. Community ties
3. Competitiveness in pvp, meebles, resources, etc. - I'm very competitive
4. Boredom of other games atm.

 

tbh this sounds like the first thread I made about Meepcraft being so "great".

 

Lol. Or that thread I made that I said 'Meepcraft is awesome, right?!' And a flame war started on it because I applied straight after thinking it'd help me.

 

I was gonna make a Donald Trump joke, then I read the actual thing and I went "oh wait"

This server is great on the surface but ultimately comes down to community. Without it, MeepCraft would've died out ages ago. In fact, it's a miracle to me that it is still running. The server has been on a continuous decline. It's sad to say, as this was once a great and prosperous place.

Isn't it? MeepCraft was the first server that I ever joined in Minecraft. Ever.

Now that I think about it, you're right. I am very grateful that it still exists.

 

I don't like gaming much, however i got minecraft originally because i loved legos and thought they were similar. My friend told me to play on this server and i found it was awesome! i love the economy and the fact that meep lets me do anything that i love that the community is so nice!

 

What got me into Meepcraft was my brother. He asked me if I wanted to make a town with him on this server with all his friends. I usually don't like big servers, but the one I was playing on at the time was really small and I was kind of bored of it. I stayed, got to know the community, and here I am today. I enjoy Meepcraft because it is not my usual cup of tea, it gives me a different way to play Minecraft.

2012 i was searching for servers to play on and found meepcraft on the server list site thing so i joined and i played parkour for like 500 hours until i found out that the server wasnt only a parkour server so then i played towns, eventually made a town, met @DiamondBoy and he was like the best assistant ever and then i met @Toasteds after my town died and i was an assistant at his place for a while. i don't stay for the games, i stay for the players <3

 

My daughter loves parkour and is always looking for a new challenge. She had long ago "invented" the word "meep" as her personal nonsense word, which made her simultaneously disappointed (she thought her word was unique) and intrigued to find a server with parkour called Meepcraft. She started playing parkour, heard about towny, started burning up global and then modreq with questions, then decided she liked it and invited me to come play it with her.

The biggest reason we stay is because this server is rare in that it actually has a code of conduct and makes an effort to enforce it. As a result, Meep doesn't have anywhere near as much saltiness, griefing, scamming, and hacking (outside pvp) as every other server I've seen. We don't play on any of those other servers for very long, and we talk to almost nobody else when we're there.

I first found the server last year when a friend told me there was a minigame with tons of TNT (Boomo). I then found CTF, and loved destroying and outsmarting people so much that I started checking other parts of the server out. My loyalty to the server was cemented by meeting the community. There is so little griefing, stealing, and rule-breaking on the server that I then went back to my old server to get all my friends. We all love it so much, we're all getting ranks. I greatly appreciate the work staff puts in to keep this server clean!
