This will not be the regular thread that I usually post. Instead, I will be telling a story.
Recently, I have fallen in love with the game "Monument Valley" on my phone. At first, I was skeptical, but I ended up playing it for hours last night. The game is rather beautiful looking, it consists of many fascinating shapes and illusions with puzzles hidden within them. However, the message is rather obscure even though it is a "story game" with "chapters", but I believe I have found the game's message. I would highly recommend that you guys take the time to spend the $5.50, and sit down for a while to play it. It's worth it!

    -=+Prologue+=-

Long ago, in a far off land there lived an advanced race of human beings,
who built great monuments and cities with their sacred geometry. They were a very wise civilization who worshiped knowledge and lived happy lives with one another. Until one day, a race of human-like crows grew jealous of the human's sacred geometry, and plotted to steal all of their geometry. The race of crows were successful in conquering the valley of monuments. As a result of this, the humans began to slowly die out, but before the human race fell into extinction, they cursed all of the crow people to walk the monuments for all eternity with total amnesia. The valley fell quiet for a thousand years. And then, after many years of silence, one of the crows managed to break free from the curse. Her name was Ida, and she was the princess of the crows. She led the race of crows to take the valley of monuments from the humans. However, she was not in her natural form of a crow, instead she woke in the form, and with intellect of a human. This is Ida's story, and her quest on the path to redemption.

    -=+Chapter 1+=-
    "Awakening"

The air was cold and dark.
Ida woke slowly, and was shocked when she looked down to see that she had no feathers, or wings, or a large beak. Instead, she saw two tiny legs, and noticed that her face was flat and no beak. Then her head began to ache, memories flashed in her mind like a deer caught in the high beams of a speeding car. She remembered everything that she had done to the humans. The irony was, that since she had the intellect of a human and not that of a crow, she began to feel sad for what she had done to the humans. She knew that the humans were gone from physical life, but she knew that they still watched over their monuments in spirit form. The humans held on to their belief of the afterlife, that they would still watch over their monuments after death. They loved their monuments like a mother loves a newborn child, and they wanted to cherish their sacred geometry for all eternity. It took a while for Ida to overcome her sadness and finally stand up on her two tiny legs. It was at that moment that she would do whatever it takes, to restore the valley to it's former glory, and to free all crows from the hellish life they were condemned to live.
