Items are only worth as much as someone's willing to pay for them. A piece of dirt could be worth $10,000,000 to a player whilst worth $.0001 to another.

Due to your inactivity within the town (16 days in total) your plot has been claimed and is now property of the State of Freyview (Alpha). All items in chest, placed blocks and including chest are now no longer your property.

It is a server rule and a town rule that 14 days of inactivity without notifying town staff members via /msg /mail or a sign outside of your home regarding your inactivity. You had multiple options to notify somebody about your inactivity. All of your property was claimed in a legal manor.
