Jobs have been a staple of Meepcraft gameplay since the launch of the new system at the end of 2018. Since then, only minor changes mostly to do with balancing and bug fixes have been done. Now, it's time for a content update.

    • The Jobs
The Jobs are still broken down as follows: Woodcutter, Miner, Builder, Digger, Farmer, Hunter, Adventurer, Fisherman, Blackmsith, Artist, and Mystic; however their roles have been considerably updated to account for dozens of new items in the game and thus will suit the same purposes using your existing levels and progress.

Many jobs have had their formulas rebelanced to account for newcomers to the game as well as the additional opportunities you have with each jobs. Subtle changes make large differences in later levels where a single digit can cost you hours of work gaining experience.
    • Synergies

The philosophy behind the jobs system is one of cooperation and teamwork to advance. Many items in Minecraft are covered under this system in a way where their various forms fall under different jobs. The original version of this system saw the Digger job being used to mine terracotta, which was then sold to players with the Artist job to smelt into glazed terracotta, which could then be sold to builders to place, thereby taking the item out of the "economy" once it is physically back in the world. There are hundreds upon hundreds of these synergies within the system which you must discover!

    • Perks

Perks are also one of the massive aspects of the jobs system. Rather than simply paying for bonuses through ranks, you may earn gameplay changing perks by playing the game and leveling up in your jobs. Each job as its own set of perks designed to help you succeed either in that job specifically or in certain areas of gameplay.

    • Advancement

When you first begin, you may only join two jobs at a time. This is to limit the number of choices for the early game to better help you to focus on leveling up those jobs. Over time, you may purchase additional slots through the jobs shop upon hitting certain milestones as follows:
    3 Jobs - 50 levels
    4 Jobs - 100 Levels
    5 Jobs - 300 Levels
    6 Jobs - 750 Levels
"Levels" refers to the total sum of levels you have between all of your joined jobs. You may attain this number in any preferential combination of jobs and amounts (such as 25 / 25, 50 / 0, 35 / 15, etc. for the third job slot).

    • Conclusion
I hope this clears up confusion in regards to how jobs work and the core concepts behind them. This is the first of many updates to come in the near future.
