A very sad post from a very sad man

Well, meepcraft, here lies the day I quit pvp.

1.9 kills pvp (in my honest opinion) and that is why I must throw in the towel and give up pvping.

OBVIOUSLY THIS ISN'T FOR ALL SERVERS **

but, knowing meep, they're obviously gonna upgrade and go with 1.9, therefore my meep pvp days are over. Hopefully popular pvp servers will keep 1.8 or even 1.7.10 servers around just for pvping, but that might not happen. This is extremely hard because minecraft pvp opened my doors to osu! and whatnot, but it doesn't matter anymore because it's coming to an end. Like I said, hopefully some pvp servers continue to run and have 1.7.10 or 1.8 (either one) servers running, which would be fantastic as it would continue the great, now "old" style pvp that I've grown to love too much to part with.

You'll bring in all the people who want the old pvp

 

Honestly, that's actually a really good idea. If all of the popular servers and PvP servers all update to 1.9, then meepcraft could potentially gain a large amount of PvPers that want to stick with old PvP.

Well that does really suck, and I guess Meep will just have to cope with the update. I personally haven't tried 1.9 yet but let's all give it a shot before we say it's not working. Let's be open to it. You love Meep and you don't wanna leave so give 1.9 a chance on the actual multiplayer.

 

i bet you techs can remove the attack cooldowns. the enderpearl cooldowns maybe not though

 

Actually, the cool downs can be disabled by one person with a command block in vanilla. Honestly, 2 types of arenas for 1.9 and 1.8- PvP is a fantastic idea.

It's about the cooldown on the sword
and the tipped arrows are bad for pvp apparently
I don't pvp either
so

 

I've heard of servers being able to disable the attack timer with a command block. There will likely be a simple plugin for it also in the future.

 

I'm really interested in seeing the new pvp, I'll login and see how it is.
