Allow only some people to reply on threads.

Ok so say I want to make a town thread right? I want my town staff to make updates when I'm on vacation but I don't want other people posting on the thread. Well I say we allow the thread owner and staff to remove toxic and annoying people *cough* awesomeadogamer *cough* from the thread or only let some people reply on it.


Probably gonna get some hate. Also this will probably be denied.

 

Ask a staff to delete the offending posts (use the report button).
Or, better yet, use the ignore function we have.
I see no need to add in this kind of thing when we already have solutions.

Ok but I just though it would be a strain on staff to remove like 100 posts on 1 thread lol.

 

Use the report function and staff will delete as needed

We already have the tools to ignore people and this won't help with suggestion etc. "I only want people to +1 my idea, and don't let the -1's appear by removing them or not allowing them to post." Because I assume you mean for the entire forums.

Well, I meant like let people see the updates without them posting on the thread.

I was thinking like only marketplace, discussion, skyblock, towns, etc.

+1 for giving owners of the op permission to delete posts on threads under certain topics such as marketplace and towns
