Introduction: Hey many of you know as me as Amc8thegreat13 but that there is another side to me and here it is. My name is Jordan More as some of you know. I do a lot of other things outside meep. For example i help out at the local scouts every week and help a local campsite with repairs and upkeep. I enjoy helping people outside of meep and have helped a lot with the charity called the Jumbulance which my mum helps out with. Also im moving into my final year of high school. I love learning and using my knowledge to help others.

Why you should be Helper/Mod ?

-Dedication: I have been been playing the server for over a year now and feel that its members are like a second family to me. I hope to join the great group of people that make meep possible.

-Friendliness: I try my best to be friendly to everyone and help people out whenever I can. if someone has a goal they want to achieve or need help doing even the simplest jobs then I will do my best to go out the way to help them. It is important to be friendly so that people know they can come to me for help and that they know that no matter what happens I will always be there for them

-Work Ethic: As I mentioned at the start I help out at local groups. i would love to use this knowledge that I gained through helping groups out in real life that I may use that to help people on meep. when I am given a task I do my best to complete no matter how hard it is or how basic it is. NO MATTER what job I do I always try to add extra to help that person out.

-Being able to work with others: being able to work with others is a key part of being a staff member as sometimes its better to ask a second opinion or to receive criticism to make you find areas in which you can improve on.

- Community Involvement: I usually help a lot in local chat or world problem if people have problems. I ask a lot of questions about certain aspects of the server as its a good way of learning. throughout being on meep I have made a lot of friends and this continues to grow. I know that people like to see staff take part in the community and help people and I feel I could achieve this as I am seen on chat and local chat regularly whenever I can.

Weaknesses:

-Lack of familiarity with helper commands: Because I have never been staff on Meep, I have not yet learned the commands that I will need to know. But I know that with some help, I should be able to
learn them quite quickly.

-Argumentative: i usually argue with someone if i feel they are wrong. i know i shouldn't do this as everyone deserves their own opinion. i can work on this by listening to peoples opinion and not argue with them

-slowness in typing: yes I know this one seems stupid but I think its vital to put this in weaknesses. this is because I may be to slow to respond to someone's question in /shout as people get there before me but I try my best to help people.


Conclusion:
I hope that I can become part of the great team that runs meep. I would love to hear your criticism and comments as I feel they could be very helpful. thank you for reading this and making my time on meepcraft amazing. you guys are great.

From my own personal experience with you: I can say that you are a great person to be around and that I think your temperment is good for Helper.

I personally think temperment is a lot more important than helping in /shout, so thats a plus.

I know I've seen you quite a few times online, though I'm not sure how much in shout. Maybe just being generally more active in shout could help people see you more often?

Other than that I think a little more forums activity couldnt hurt, especially in areas such as Q&A, Report a Bug; Suggestions and Staff Recruitment.

I would have no problem if you were to be accepted, and I'd love to see how you'd hold up in an interview. Good luck!

This seems like a last ditch effort on staying and that shows me that you're not fully committed to the server.

 

There are two scenarios that I could see playing out:

You get accepted and move on to helper. You do an average job at the start, keeping up with modreqs and helping players when needed, but you dont go above and beyond. Then, after a while, you lose interest, and either go incredibly inactive, or resign. You then make a come back and repeat the process, however far into the future that is.

Or,

You get denied and leave for a few days, come back and then in 2 weeks re apply. If you are accepted, it will follow the previous scenario, if denied, you will most likely either leave, or become incredibly inactive.

Thats how I see it playing out. You saying your leaving right before you apply shows your not fully dedicated towards the server, and it could be given up easily for you. Aside from that, I rarely see you helping and dont see very much maturity from you.

-1 I realize your viewpoint on why you are posting this app, but to me if you are planning on leaving and got helper your heart wouldn't be in it. You do seem like a good player and if you do decide to come back try working on TeamSpeak activity before applying.

To me, you were a kind person, always having time to help out a n00b with plot problems. Beyond this, I really don't know much about you. (beyond the fact that you killed me mining ). +.5 and GL!

 

I want you to stay, and I think you could be a good staff member if you worked on a few things people have already mentioned... but you were still insisting that you were leaving MeepCraft just a few hours before posting this.
