Developers are some of the most important people on the server. It falls under them to maintain the existing projects on the server while also creating all new experiences for the server. For developer applications, the application itself is much less important than other positions such as Helper. While a variety of programming languages is certainly helpful, those will not help you as much as a solid grasp of Java or another object-oriented language.

How do you plan on putting your knowledge to work and what are some ideas you have to improve the server? Tell us what you are most proud of making in your time as a developer and show us some of your best work via a GitHub or personal website.

If you have not been involved with our Community Developers program before, you may be moved to this to gain the experience and trust needed to become a full-fledged developer. ComDev is a wonderful program started by LordInateur in which any member of the community may apply to work on projects with a limited scope that do not require the same effort or deadlines which are expected of standard developers.


Media
What is the main platform that players can go and publicly view your content on, and what is your typical content comprised of? Our most important question here is where can we see it and what are we going to be seeing. Do you have the necessary programs and editing tools for media? What can you offer Meepcraft that others can’t? Those are all things you should ask yourself.

We discourage crazy long intros, misuse of transitions in your videos, showing footage otherwise unobtainable, or anything similar to the above.

Using multiple platforms is a fantastic way to demonstrate not only your abilities, but fulfilling the central role of media: advertising the server using these platforms to reach as many people as possible.
