Introduction: Hey there, my name is Alana but I am known as Miss_Unique on the server. Meepcraft is the best server I could play on for many reasons and I have been a member for at least four years now. The community is amazing, everyone is so helpful and supportive, the staff are always friendly and there to help and there is so much to do with having towny, creative, etc. I'm originally from Toronto in Australia but recently moved to Newcastle in Sydney where I plan to stay for a while. I'm currently in high school and my favourite subjects are PASS (Sport) and photography as a distance education subject and after school I help out in a family photography business.

Why should you be Architect? Dedication:
I'm committed to the work I do and always aim to get a building project done on time. I always focus on the task whilst I build and I'm willing to take extra time for the project to make sure the job is done correctly.
Experience:
I'm always interested in discovering new building styles and designs which I have worked my way up to having the skills to build larger and more realistic designs. Things such as adding more detail to the shape and form of a build has always been a very important goal for me. I have the momentum of finding ways to make sure something looks realistic to bring the entire build to life.
Location:
I am able to stay on later during weeknights (GMT+10) when very few people are on due to timezones and I'm willing to put all my dedication into playing for as many hours as I can especially if something is needed to be done.

What builds have you completed on the server and where might they be located? I've completed many modern houses from simple to large. My largest building is on my plot in creative called the "Monarch Mansion"(-22;25) and the others at my town. (/t spawn New_Zealand)

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I mostly do modern buildings but I'm also in the process of discovering ways to build differently.

How much experience do you have using Voxel and Worldedit? I have a fair amount of knowledge with world edit as I have worked with this before in the past.

First of all, wonderful application with wonderful builds! I like them a lot However, I am very concerned since all of your builds are small/medium modern styled houses. As you see on the server, architects generally build large projects in multiple styles. You say in your application that you are in the process of discovering them; yet that's the part that we are assessing. I think you need to put some time into other styles and larger projects before applying

I think you should do an arch trial.

While your modern houses are cute, I don't see how these would help much in making maps. These are also smaller builds, do you have any larger scale builds that maybe include terrain? Also it doesn't seem that you really do much outside modern because that medieval house doesn't look too good. Overall, I do not see how you could really benefit the current architect team. Plus in my opinion there are other helpers/mods that build better, so if for what ever reason the architects need help they could ask them.

 

What Pmx said. Your builds are good, don't get me wrong, but I don't think it's what MeepCraft needs at the moment.

You are not a bad builder, by any means. You just aren't a good enough builder to really add anything

 

As all my buildings were built on the server I had a limitation of land to build really large deisgns, therefore I have only done small to medium buildings.

 

+/-, builds were pretty good for what you were building, but like others have said, we need map makers, not house builders.

There's always creative, and if you want to use world edit there are multiple ways you can do that.

So, as many people have said, I would like to see more large scale, ambitious builds. Your houses are very nice, but our Arch team is at a pretty good size.
I suggest you add larger builds, and what I would like to see the most are W/E or Voxel builds.

Your application really showed your in love with meep. But your builds didn't really stand out to me. Sure I can't build like you what so ever but we don't need "just" homes built, we require a large scale of things built such as maps. -1

 

I agree with alex, this isn't a good reason not to build big. While it might take you much longer to build something due to the fact that there is no world edit or voxel sniper, most of the people who are architects now made something big in creative with their hands, so there is no reason you can't.

I'm sorry to say it but I give you a -1. Good luck tho with your builds! I can't wait to see what you come up with.
