Bigger Creative Plots

Most people go on creative to get creative. Many of these players go to creative to build these things because its free for materials and they can just build whatever they would like. I feel like when I build in creative it just is not big enough for me to express my creative side into a small plot of 33x33. So, my suggestion is to expand this into larger plots like 101x101. So I am pretty positive you can not do this since you would ruin every creative plot so here is my new suggestion. Make a new ranked building server. So in this server you would start at the lowest rank possible and you would have a smallish plot like 33x33 but you can move up in the ranks and the higher the rank the bigger the plots you get going up to even 201x201. The highest rank would receive World Edit for building the best thing they could possible make. You could also make money if you get promoted to a higher building rank which would also boost the economy in yet another way. You would have dedicated people that would be the judges of these builds and could promote you if the build if nice enough or they could not if the build is not of satisfaction. It would be a fun way to promote building because minecraft was intended to have people build. Again this is just a suggestion and it is not up to me to implement it but it does help to have opinions on this matter to see what the community thinks of this idea. In order to do this the entire creative server would need to be reset. Also, each rank gets a new creative plot to use. Not sure why this is needed.

 

i think that it is a good idea, but what about all the plots that ppl have built on it?

 

THat seems like a lame excuse to erase everything.

 

You are right, a new plot is not needed but I find it a fun way to keep building bigger and better things since you will receive a new plot that is larger everytime. This is just a fun way to build and you would not have to reset the creative server because I know they would never do that so that is why I said create a new server.

-1 this has been suggested MANY times and it has been denied. We would reset all of the creative world, which would suck for a lot of us.

 

I did not know this has been suggested before, I'm sorry.

 

We recently reset Creative so I don't think we should do it again soon.
Maybe if we reset again we could consider it

 

I probably was not playing during then because I did not have knowledge of them resetting it.

+1 this is a good idea to have bigger plots but I think it's a bad idea I think to have bigger plots for donators because it would get kind of complicated. Over all for me it's a +1

 

Honestly the buying creative plots around you when you're a donator rank just seemed like a cheap and effortless excuse for simply making bigger plots. You can buy all the plots around you you want, but guess what, YOU CAN'T BUILD IN THE AREA BETWEEN THEM, that's the issue. If it's that hard to just do THAT with bigger plots (which much smaller servers have done with barely any money), then I will gladly have every single block I have ever placed in creative wiped from existence if it means that we get bigger plots damnit!

And for the love of glob give us Fing world edit, and before you say "that makes it easier for people to create inappropriate structures" let me tell you this, the idiot that's going to build a giant butt in creative is going to build a giant butt in creative weather or not they have world edit.

 

Creative was reset not that long ago anyways and no one batted an eye.
