"Computers" Section In Forums

Simple suggestion, probably been asked already but couldn't find another suggestion like this. Pretty much just add a section for threads about computers.

 

Don't we already have the programming section?

 

Believe it or not, not all computer things are related to programming. If I went to that section I wouldn't expect to see best $170 GPU I would expect to see maybe like java lessons or I need help with making an i Frame. This computers thread to me is a bad idea as it just takes 2 already existing threads and makes them more vague. Maybe you mean add a Computer Hardware thread?

 

It looks like right now most of the computer build and computer-related threads are going under the gaming forum: http://meepcraft.com/forums/gaming.15/ . And as you can see it's not really that active, only 50 something threads in all it's existence :/ Why would a specific computer forum be more useful or active?

bcuz i am tired of seeing these "pls help wit my computer" threads.

it doesn't belong on meepcraft. yeah we have blackjack and other smart people but is this really the best place to do it, a minecraft server forums?

 

If people have the question and others are willing to answer there's no reason why we would completely remove it..
And even if we made a new section you'd still see the threads in the recent threads, feeds, etc.
