Trump is an idiot, plain and simple.
Just because someone is good at making it in the economy, doesn't mean that they'd be a good president; there is much more to the government than just the economy. If being simply being rich made you a good presidential candidate, then any celebrity or wealthy person could potentially be a "good president".

I don't like Ben Carson. My main problem with him, is that he is against same-sex marriages, and views being gay as a choice, which is something that I very, very, very highly and actively disagree with. However, he is not a complete moron, like Trump, so props to you guys for favouring him.

    Oh sweet jesus, Deinen.

Donald Trump sounds just as worse/much worse than Hillary Clinton wtf
    --- Double Post Merged, Sep 2, 2015, Original Post Date: Sep 2, 2015 ---
    Amen to that.
Donald sounds so much more saltier than Hornemans.
Its like hes continuing Horne's job, except he leaves other people in millions - billions of debt

If he is voted for President, my family is moving out of the country.

Except, as a country, you can't just declare bankruptcy and tell your debtors to oh well!

I just looked into this guy's policies. I agree with him on a lot (gun control, or lack thereof, tax reform, government downsizing.) I dislike his position on immigration, but it's better than nothing. I appreciate that he doesn't say gays have no rights. I don't think changing the house term is a good idea, but it could be; I'm no expert. I love his position on welfare. He's definitely caught my interest.

Trump as a presidential candidate is meh, but he is very valuable because he says what needs to be said. He point out all the flaws in our system in a very blunt manner. However, I think there are better options.

I think the way he presents himself, and has acted publically since the late 80s puts him in a position where I would have to doubt anything he said. His actions are not even close to backing up his words.

Could you actually come with a real argument instead of saying something bs? Obama says this is what I stand for, and then continue to say that, Trump however throws out a lot of things and keep the more popular ones. Obama on the other hand actually stays true to his words even after it isn't that popular. He make plans for what do I want to do in the next few years, and then tries to do it. Like if you look at what he said in 2008, he barely changed his politics from then to now, and he has never said ''I will do something completely unrealistic''.

(And no, I'm not saying that Obama is the perfect president, he is just among the slightly above average ones).

Even though I am 16 and can't even vote yet I still like watching all of the Republican and Democratic politicians with my dad. We both find it hilarious when someone gets lambasted by Trump (ex. Megan Kelly, Rand Paul, Rosie O'Donnell, President Obama, Hillary Clinton etc.). I almost died when Hillary asked if by wiping her computers, the press meant with a cloth. On top of all of this, Ben Carson's comments during his political campaign (look at my first and second quotes in my signature) has left me in stitches. It also is fun to watch people take shots that look like they are meant for Trump but are directed elsewhere (Huckabee's GOP closing statement was hilarious). Over all politics is a three ring circus that keeps laughs flowing.

Yes, but the fact that Americans have changed the spelling of English words such as "favour", by removing the "u", is stupid, so I refuse to abide by it.

Well, it kind of makes his wishes on the next president irrelevant. It's not to say that his opinions aren't worth something, but honestly, foreigners keep their noses out of our politics. It's our deal.

Since I don't think you'll get this far:
1,035) Prevented the residents of Mandeville Canyon, California, from traveling so he could have a fundraiser

In October 2014, the New York Times wrote:

Obama Visit Fuels a Paltrow Neighborhood Feud

As gossip websites buzzed about Gwyneth Paltrow and President Obama — her “you’re so handsome that I can’t speak properly” is already being mocked unmercifully — her Los Angeles neighbors lashed out Friday that the Paltrow-hosted presidential fund-raiser had come at their expense.

Traffic stood still, children were stranded at school, residents could not leave their own driveways. That’s not the way life is supposed to be lived in Mandeville Canyon.

In a post on the Nextdoor Mandeville Canyon website, a private social network for area residents, Bret Lewis said that the neighborhood did not need people like Ms. Paltrow “who pay no heed to the concerns of their neighbors.”

He went on to solicit support for having Ms. Paltrow kicked out of Mandeville Canyon. “She belongs in the movie theaters, and President Obama can entertain in the Staples Center,” he said.

The anger began building outside Ms. Paltrow’s home on Thursday even while Mr. Obama mingled inside during the two-and-a-half-hour event, where it cost a $1,000 donation to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee to listen to the president, and $15,000 to have dinner with him.

“I have a crying child on a soccer field!” one woman yelled as she passed by. (She was one of the few residents who were allowed to drive through.)

Mr. Lewis, in his post, said his family ended up in a restaurant “with a bunch of other displaced residents.”

“My 13-year-old daughter broke into tears, was unable to do her homework,” he said. “We finally got home at 9:00 and my daughter was up late studying, ultimately ill-prepared for her exams.”

Kim Peterson, in another post, said residents were misled about the extent of the presidential security and the impact it would have on traffic. “The biggest problem yesterday is we did not know the Canyon would be totally closed down,” she said. Otherwise, she said, “we could have all planned accordingly.”

But in Mr. Lewis’s opinion, it was “more than poor planning, it’s an abuse of power and, most importantly, unneighborly.”

You mean take money from people who earned it to give it to those that didn't.
