What stage are we at then?

 

I'd say 4 or 5. Although this doesn't really apply well to minecraft forums.

This doesn't really apply to our forums at all. Sure, there was a time when we had more traffic, but I wouldn't say we're dying. As you can see, lots of people still use forums everyday, and I don't think we're in a state of inactivity or almost immobility.

 

You could apply this same scale to the server. 1 would be at the very start of 2012 when it was new, 2 would be around mid 2012 perhaps. 3 would be from the point when we got 1k players often to the point MN massively failed, followed by a rather slow 4 lasting from the rebirth to the recent reset. We'd currently be in stage 5 - desolation. I perhaps got some times wrong in early meep, since I don't remember much about it since I was only 10 then.

Of course it doesn't apply well to the server either. I had trouble placing where MN would be, and servers, unlike most forums, can undergo a shift from 4-5 back to 1-2
