Helper Application from Blue_marlin98

I rarely see you on due to timezones, but from what I have heard you have taken feedback from your previous applications and made an effort to improve yourself, which tells me that this is something that you want this position and are willing to work hard to get it. I'd say that your app was average, but the app definitely isn't the most important thing here.

You have taken your previous denies and didn't rage quit because of it, you took everything into consideration and actually went and worked on everything that was advised to you! that shows you would be committed and would work on anything someone said you needed work on and that is really good!

1. In the app, the introduction and weaknesses section was very good, but the why section was very lacking.
2. Active? I live in the same time zone as him and only saw him for the first time in months last week. On forums more than half his posts are his own helper apps or his legacy suggestion.
3. It was a pretty bad suggestion though
4. LOL. The last time he was active, he would constantly argue in chat, avoid the caps filter, and say dumb stuff. Tbh I still don't believe that he is "18" because he acts 12. That was 5 months ago though and he might have changed, but I haven't seen him on and doubt he did.

I honestly don't know what to say because both sides of the argument is true. I feel that you did get better on your weaknesses. Your application has been coming along, but I agree with @Pmx728 that it could get better. For example, "I have never gotten detention" is such a childish thing to say, and I'm worried about your standards. However, you seem to possess many positive aspects as well. I do wish that I would be able to see you more on global.

I stand neutral.

PS: @DevilSpawn112 and @AdrianIsEpic - people are free to post their opinions and reasoning behind their choices of supporting or not. Different people view things differently, and you criticizing other people's opinions honestly irritates me. They are free to feel however they like. How do you know that Pmx was misunderstanding or not? If anyone were to ask about a comment it should be the applicant, not his friends. (Sorry had to get that out there)

 

Thank you Natsu, I did not mean that in a childish way I ment it as I'm not a kind of person who gets in trouble, I will admit in the beginning of the year and last year I was very chilidish and immature but I have changed that, I do not only comment on my helper app, I comment on pretty much everyone's helper app, that's one of the easiest ways to get out there on forums (for me) we do all see things differently and I will take everyone's view into consideration, as far as my age I am 18 but again I have no way to prove that to anyone so that's on them, thank you.

 

Although I do appreciate and value everyone's opinion, and I will take everyone's opinion into consideration, I did not mean to cause an altercation within me applying. Please comment your opinion and go on. Thank you.

u know what idk what the big deal is it's not like if ur a helper u do that much anyways. this guy clearly wants to help and he's dedicated enough to this place and he's applied so many times and only improved so I don't see a reason why not

After giving my advise, and why I was a +/- you took what I said calmly and conserved, which is something that I think is a very valuable trait to have. You seem very sweet blue, and you've taken your denials better than I did a long long time ago, and for that I am very proud of you.

So Blue,
We haven't had a chat in while, but I'm always watching. So first, the application. The introduction was very solid, I liked it. It helped me get to know you and helped me with an easy transition into the why. The why was not long, but it wasn't bad. It helped me with reasons on why you should have a shot, and really gave me details on how you can benefit this team and the server. I see your weaknesses as subjects that can all be taken care of very easily. Now to address the weaknesses. Your maturity, proneness to arguing, and being impatient have been worked on immensely, and that's awesome. Keep working on those, and it'll be gone entirely before you know it. Lack of experience isn't a problem at all, as everyone starts somewhere and we're all here to help. So in game, I pretty much only see you primarily being kind and helpful, which is obviously necessary for this position. You've also taken your denials very well, and didn't stop trying, which shows your dedication. So, in conclusion, I can definitely see you in this position. Keep working on those weaknesses, and keep up the work! +1.

Lacking in experience is not a issue, as stated before in post above, everyone has to start somewhere. You will gain alot of experience in the field as staff and I look forward to seeing you go far.

I remember talking to you just as I applied for helper, and I definitely think you have potential. You're great at taking criticism even if you are a bit stubborn *cough cough* your suggestion thread.

Although I agree with one point what Pmx said,

which I do feel is true, knowing that I never noticed you on when I was on, you have been more active than usual. I know this for a fact since we both live in the same time zone as well as the same state, Lol. You're nice to others and I've had no problems with you in the past. I haven't seen you ever be immature during these couple of past weeks, and your app was a-ok. Not perfect, but fine with me. Keep up doing what you do.

 

Thank you for your feed back, I have tried to be a lot more active, I went off for a little bit due to school and now that that's over (not entirely just the testing etc) I will be back on a lot more, my computer also broke (but no excuses) I see you on sometimes and hopefully I'll see you on when I'm on more often.
