Helper Application from kirby99

I'm gonna have to say -1 here's why: most of the information isn't decent information that makes us want you as staff. I think you ran out of good info in the middle and just tried to make it as long as possible. This is frowned upon. Also, I never see you in game. be more active and apply in a few months again.

I said no for a reason to being a reference for a reason. Here is why I am a +/- but more leaning for a - 1.

Kirby, i really like you, you're a good friend! I just dont think you're ready again. The day you resigned you said you were applying, and you told me you were bored of playing meepcraft. But then you told everyone else, (after I told you it was a bad idea to tell everyone that when you said you were going to apply) you said you left for guitar and piano. If that was your actual intentionddi'd be a- ok. But here's my other concern. You had been telling me, also leading up to this for weeks that you were going to resign. You had zero confidence in your abilities during staff, and that really reflected when you said you were probably going to resign. I don't think, at this time. That you are ready. And if you are accepted think before you speak, as i have made this mistake before. Good luck!! If i think of anything else I will comment further.

 

I was bored of playing Meep but once I resigned I figured out what I left and I thought that I had made a saddening mistake. I played around on Meep in the upcoming weeks of my resignation and found it quite enjoyable. I don't mean that I found it more fun to be a player than a staff member, not at all. Guitar and piano were my main intention on leaving but I was bored of Meep as well. I think I may have actually stayed if I just took a break for a couple of days. Oh and I did have confidence in my ability to be a great staff member but I never got enough effort in to become one. Me resigning was basically making room for better staff since I wasn't doing my job as well as I could've been. So I was hoping I could basically redeem myself with this application.

 

Great!! Thanks for the response! My response wasn't in saying you were a bad staff member, i thought you wete great! It just seemed like any time something staff related came you would say something along the lines of "I'm the worst staff member ever lol" and "I only got accepted because nobody knew me" I just want to see you more, granted i haven't been on the past few days as im currently doing some Rosetta stone to improve my French. Best of luck, but im still not sure. Your response was very good, i liked it and jt cleared some of my doubt up.

 

No problem! I didn't know you spoke French! I should probably get some French lessons, I mean I don't want to but it's my countries second language lol. Oh and I'd say that not many people see me because talking in global hasn't come as easy to me as talking in discord and our past teamspeak. Which also ties in the reason that I have a tight friend group

 

I remembered you as okay. I didn't really talk to you thatmuch when we were staff together, but you seemed to get your work done--not too much more, not too much less. You were fairly knowledgeable, and knew when to ask questions.

This time around, your application was pretty good, and you've displayed clear improvement; therefore I'm pretty confident you can be an asset to the staff team.

 

So I didn't want to post here, for several reasons, so I won't be pointing fingers. (Yet it will seem obvious) Just gonna leave a comment on certain things before I get into my opinion.
Now, talking about helping a kid and restating it from his application does not mean at all he's bragging about it. If he was literally stating it in every part of his application or telling others "Oh hey, I helped out a kid, you?" every time, then yeah, that'd be bragging. On another note, him posting that he has had a bad experience from a current staff member does not necessarily mean he doesn't get along with him. Its just a bad event. All has past. Where does it say he hates him or doesn't like him at all? And lastly, We all have things to do that keep us busy, school and jobs being the most obvious (maybe) for most staff members. We all can't be on at certain times (not stating names).
Now that thats off my chest. Not that I'm trying to be bias. Even though I was. A little.

Kirby. From my experience with you, you are what all these people have said about you. Caring, responsible, respectful (at times) and most importantly, helpful. You're an ethusatic kind of guy who puts things that are important first, which was your position as helper, right before you left for your guitar (seriously). You posting another application just shows that you're ready once again to place helper first. Of course, there are other things that should go first, like school or family, but you know you'll be putting time aside for being a staff member on meep.Of course, we're here to help you along the way as staff (even though I'm only a bit experienced, those who are more will help you with the things you need help with). Other than that, the app itself was fine to me. I am confident that you will do fine as a helper once again.

seeing your constructive forum posts and talking to you in discord for a bit, i can tell youll be a p good helper

also, a very nice app IMO

 

+1 because Klutch has no problem with the staff team being the same size as the playerbase.

Coming back onto the the Staff team You were a great staff member, and you have the largest app I have ever seen +1

It is better to get a staff member who has experience than getting a staff member who hasn't had any experience at all.
I have seen you ingame and your behavior as staff is one of the best.

 

The staff team is legit at an all time low for helpers. When I was helper we had like 8 then 9 mods 3 smods and 3 active admins. Just saying we really do need helpers, but for our player base now it's sufficient.
