Introduction: Hello my name is Øyvind or you might know me as Paincakexx1997. I am a 19 year old teenager that lives in Norway/Bergen. I have been busy with my finals which i got a decent grade on And now i am going to start my apprenticeship, i am going to work in a laboratory for the time that i am going to be an apprentice. I love chemistry which is the main reason that i chose to work my way to become a lab-assistant/researcher. It shows that with hard dedication and motivation you can become anything you want in life!

I was staff about 3 months ago, the reason i resigned from the position was that finals was coming up and i wanted to be ready for those, but i will be honest and say that i could have waited with resigning for 2 weeks, but due to current conditions i decided to resign from the position early.

Back to me, if i was going to evaluate the type of person i am, i would think i am a person that can joke around and be relaxing around friends, but i can also be strict when it is needed. I am also the kind of person that has a strong belief in fighting for what you believe in. But that also means that discussing with others is something that is important to me.

Why should you be Helper? Experience:

When i came to meepcraft or as it was called back in the day MN. I was in charge of the faction part of the server. I had very limited resources to work with because of the limited amount of staff that wanted to work on the faction server. And during this period there was the fight between cruelty and fuzzlr that was going on. It all ended with the fall of MN and the new meepcraft emerging.

I then started from scratch and became a helper, i then quit and came back a couple times before i became super-mod, then i quit 3 months ago due to reasons stated above.

Also with the experience, i have knowledge of prism and how to use prism. I might be a little rusty but i have the knowledge, it just needs some refreshing.

Work Ethic:

When i have started on something, i like to finish that work before i leave the server. The reason behind this is that i do not like to leave work half finished.

I can also be strict when needed and work under pressure. This is something i have learned after 3 years in the student council at my college.

I have never had any issues with working with others either, as long as everyone is open minded and tries the best they can.

I feel that i am a open person, i think i can get along with anyone. Even if i disagree with someone i can still work with them. And if i have a issue with anyone i would rather talk with them and figure out what the issue is instead of talking about them to others behind their back.

What are your weaknesses? Spelling

Spelling has always been a weakness that i have had, the main reason for this is that my main language is Norwegian. Also the way i set up sentences can be bad because of this.

Discussing what i believe in.

I can discuss really hard for what i believe in. This can mean that i get exited and i might come over as rude or harsh when i am discussing with others.

+1 From what i have seen you're nice and kind. Past experience as a helper is an easy sign that you are well suited and ought to get you at least interview stage.
Just, if i was you, i would phrase things differently, so when you said about havibg resigned, why not say something as well like you didn't want to have a position and not be achieving your best in helping the server, if of course you thought like this. +1

I enjoyed the time we were on the team together. You were always very friendly and kept yourself in check when you needed to. I don't think your weaknesses are too big of an issue because you always seem to be able to get your point across.

You had a hissy fit when you quit about the Ambassador rank even though nothing really happened. Ambassador is still a rank yet you're applying again doesn't really make much sense.
Otherwise you're one of the few people on the server who knows about the meep economy so yea you should be staff.

It's hard for me to comment on this because Ive always known you as a troll. A friendly troll, but a troll.
Even when we were on the staff team I didn't really get to work with you.
You got slightly toxic after you left but I know why you did and sympathize. You also tried to leave recently. If this was any applicant I would question their dedication to the server but I don't see that being an issue for you.
But seeing as you made it up to smod obviously you did something right! Hopefully you'll gett admin this time.

Anyway, your previous time as staff alone would convince me to +1, but you are also a dedicated, diligent worker who seeks to make the server better.

I came from the grave so you know I actually care.

What concerns me is that you've been becoming staff for the past two years or so and not staying staff.

Why give you staff if you're probably going to resign in a month?

I'm at a -1. I have nothing against you, but it's extremely annoying when people pull things like this.

Although I have no doubt that you could do the job well, you need to actually commit to things and not say you're going to do something for a set amount of time.

We need to look at staff members who are actually going to stay. Because I can guarantee you won't.

 

I'm absolutely not intending to argue, but I'd like to offer a different point of view for this issue.

If a person shows up and you know he'll do good work for a month, does it hurt the team to let him in to do good work for that month? Would a denial be based simply on you can't have him longer?
