Yesterday you called someone a "pathetic waste of DNA that shouldn't have been born" in halo because they walked in front of your gun. We don't need that kind of attitude from helpers. Additionally you are really condescending sometimes... I think if you work on this and give it a couple more months, you'll be ready.

Also, you just mentioned the other day that "staff are too strict on ban appeals." You've expressed your frustration multiple times about how [insert name here] got unbanned. If this if your reason to get helper, I think you'll be disappointed as helpers don't really decide ban appeals. You also get into disputes a lot in game.

+1 you are reasonable person, and I see lots of staff capabilities that can actually work well with your qualities.

As you already know, I truly think you'd make a good Helper and you have a lot of potential.

Your application leaves a little to be desired, but you got the job done; I'd prefer if you'd elaborated a bit on each of the points you made, and maybe double spaced a little less, but I think people need to focus a little less on the application because almost half of the replies here focus on your application, which is far from terrible and also far from the most important thing to talk about here.

Other than your application, the only thing I'd want to address is your tendency to be on the defensive when criticised. You've gotten a lot better with your control since your last application, but it is quite important that you keep working at this; you are a very good candidate for Helper regardless, as you are quite mature and have a genuine desire to help people out, which is all we really need to ask for. I just worry about your ability to handle criticism, because a huge amount of it will be thrown at you in your work as a Helper, unfortunately.

I think if you work a bit more on your attitude, you could easily be a wonderful Helper. As of now, I'm definitely in support of an interview.

Note to everyone; stop harping on the application, and @monkeyhead1999, @iiTzJDL.., and @DarkWarriorX5 specifically, stop arguing about things that have nothing to do with this specific application. Keep it off the thread, please and thank you.

Personally, I think that what weewoo is doing is perfectly acceptable; he's not replying to everything like 'Thank you so much what can I work on?!11one!?", he's just addressing the concerns of those posting which is perfectly fine and honestly encouraged.

 

I thank you for your critique. It is greatly appreciated. I have actually been speaking to Deinen about that. I was told that Patience is a huge factor. So I am workin on that. My personal test of patience is listening to 10 straight hours of elevator music.

On a side note. If there ever is an interview, I'd have to have it arranged after my new Microphone comes in the mail. I got one off of Ebay and its supposed to arrive soon. *Hopefully in one piece if UPS doesnt screw things up*

For explanitory purposes could you PM me what you would want me to elaborate on a little more and I'll correct my application to reflect as such?

 

Actually, please don't edit your application; it's not listed anywhere anymore (*stares at people who have been harping on this*) but it's looked down upon. However, if you were to ever write another application, such as say this is denied and you decide to reapply, you should just explain more on each (maybe not each) of your points.

It's fine, we work interviews around when you were available.

 

If this is denied.... im going to do the most cliche thing possible. Promise my self that I'm never going to apply again. Go on a long self discovery journey where I stare at a pond and throw rocks in it. Come back to meepcraft forums. Forgetting the thing ever happened and reapply. Rince, lather repeat.

We don't care about your hobbies, your dislikes, or your likes. If anything put that in your intro, it helps us get a better understanding of who you are.

No..... if you want to see what my application looks like without the spacing. Look at what Jonneh did for it in the previous page. It becomes a gigantic wall of text. And looking at it. Even without the spaces it is a rather long application.

Not only that but. keeping a couple words per line or adding more. Is how you are actually supposed to make a list.

Heck, you're taught as such in grade 11 English classes in highschool. When you get around to resume writing.

Kind of off topic but...... There is actually a Chinese Restaurant down my street called Panda Land.

I was quite disappointed that they did not actually serve Panda meat. Dangit, when I go to a restaurant that has Panda in its title... I expect some delicious Panda Fried Rice!

 

Good application try to help people more in /shout try to be online a bit more, but overall +1

 

I usually tend to help people in /tell over /shout since they tend to turn into lengthly conversations. So as to avoid spam. And due to my messages being lost in a sea of white text. I keep my helpings in /tell or in local chats. Im not sure if you remember but I actually helped you once or twice a while ago. It wasnt anything major though. Usually a enchantment here and there.
