Going on a little nostalgia trip and revisiting this website to see if it's still here and damn does life find a way am i right ladies and gentlemen? You all are still alive and kicking despite everything, good on you. I uh i can't think of much to say, but let's get real here fellas. I'm curious what you all think your real passion in life is. Like what makes you the absolute happiest. Don't say your dog or your country or your family cause a) you can't say 'my passion is ny family' cause that just doesn't make sense and b) if your passion is something completely external like that, if your passion is entirely reliant on another being, that's bad. Then you don't have an identity of your own and we all know where that goes: nowhere. So Uhs Ub Uh Uh Uh Uh what's up guys what do you all like the most. What gets your goat.

Also, has this community become even more tightly knit since losing so many players? Cause if you all have made it this long after the crash that's really cool cause that means with a smaller server you all probably know each other even better. That's neat.

 

Achievement. About ten minutes ago I managed to pull off a pretty cool skip in Super Mario 64, a game which I speedrun. It took about half an hour to practice and pull off, and when I finally did it, it was a pretty good feeling. When you persist at something for so long and it pays off, it feels great.

But yeah, we're still here. We've got a bunch of new techs who are absolutely awesome and we're pushing through EULA. Can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel but it's still a bit of a ride to go. Hopefully you can stick around for the journey!

Yup. Haven't run in a while, though. Internet's too trashy in Australia to stream + I don't have an elgato to record. The 5:21 run was probably my third run in total and I did the first two with my friend. It's a very long category to run and I simply don't have the time or the patience to run it. I'll maybe run once per month, that's about it.

Why do you ask? Do you run too?

 

I play Chess and I'm not very good at making moves quickly with a timer. If you want to get into speedrunning I'd suggest learning the route first, then start timing yourself. The first run doesn't have to be any good, just as long as you can get your times. Then you can start pushing yourself to beat those times. If you're actually serious about wanting to do this PM me on forums and I'll get you started.

 

Smaller server means you'll be interacting with the same persons everyday with diverse interests. Which means if you really plan to play in this server because of the economy, it would likely to be a failure as there's no one to interact with, and I'm sad because of that.

 

G'day mate, glad to see you pop on the forums. I have a passion for clothing and will hopefully launch a brand when I go back to Australia. At the moment it's traveling and sports which is going very well right now, I've traveled north and south of England to which I will be going to Greece next year but unfortunately I have to do most of that in between football seasons.
