I Require Aid

Hey guys, it's been a while (months). I found different hobbies.

I recently got a PS4, but something's wrong with it. Ever since I took it out the box, it's just been randomly turning off without warning. No yellow light, nothing. If I change the outlet, it turns back on but then it turns back off after a while. If any of you who has a ps4 and this happens to you, please let me know if you can help at all! I have looked all over the Internet to no avail, this is my last resort before I call Sony.

Sounds like it isn't getting enough power, but could easily be wrong. I'd call Sony right away.

I would suggest contacting their customer service.

could it be an overheating issue? i know my devices often shut themselves off when they overheat...

 

It rests on my dresser. The only other thing I have on my dresser is my sound system. I believe that oraleDK is right that it isn't getting enough power. I do live in the basement and my basement is pretty much where electronics don't function as well
