Accepted Johnsey Banned?

I am badazzled by this news.

When you were banned: I guess a few days ago.
Reason: Auto-Clicker??? Don't really know what this is.
Ban Length: 7 days or so

Why we should consider your appeal:

I've never been banned before; so I am slightly confused on how I am suppose to defend myself; when I am not using any hacks or anything to exploit my gameplay.

As ex-staff; multiple accounts of being staff, I would never do anything like this.
I did see some people in chat complaining about me 'hacking', but I tried to tell them that I wasn't and it's probably the lag and etc. I have no clue how I would be banned for hacking if I actually wasn't. When I was being accused for hacking; staff came and told me I wasn't. So I kept on pvp'ing just as I used to be doing. I was lagging extremely hard during this time which was causing my character to spas out and etc. One of my alliances warned me so I tried relogging and etc to see if that would fix my character orientation. Nothing I was trying to do was fixing my lag issues and my orientation with other pvpers. People were lagging, I was lagging, so the hits were glitching out and would give damage when I wasn't always directly on them.

Also; it's way easier to hits all your clicks if you are in 3rd person while kitpvping.

I really don't know how I could be accused of hacking.
Hopefully we can work this out; this is a misunderstanding with me.

 

I never ever was typing and clicking. I have no hacks installed.
From being staff with dealing with hackers in the past, I thought it clicks when it detects a person or something.

It must of been lag or something; I really have no other way to explain how that isn't hacks since I am not hacking.
I never did see me hitting while typing while I was playing.

It sounds really strange to me; since I didn't see this happen with my own eyes.
So there was no report on me on the forums; can't seem to find one.

Additionally; if there was no report on me within the forums itself; how on earth did you guys ban me while in game without given proof.

Last time I pvp'ed there wasn't staff in the pvp until; staff came to see me. They concluded I wasn't hacking; which I wasn't.

They just assured the complainers that I wasn't and etc. Just doing their job.

 

When exactly was this?

Hello, Johnsey. While I was not involved and cannot decide anything, I will give you the proof.

At about 1:30 in the video, you can see that you're hitting the sand, while typing. You can see that you're typing because you send out a message, while still hitting the ground.

 

Ahh I completely remember this now. Thanks for the evidence provided to refresh my brain at that time.

I do remember this completely; as you can see in this vid you can completely see the lag and etc.

Starting at like 1:10 it lags insane. I do remember glitching out at the typing part.
Infact; I relogged to try to fix it. Which it ended up fixing that; never had mouse spas out while typing again.
That was caused my maybe my mouse button sticked or something. If I was auto-clicking I would of been clicking throughout entire vid. Later on it happened again, but not as extreme.

If you could tell I was hitting every block; Gummi was hitting blocks and I was like why not too. Usually I don't hit around like everyone else does. During fights; all I do is hit and jump. Spam hit which causes blocks to get mined and etc.

Looking closely into the texture pack 98% of the time the block are hit just a tiny bit which would make sense with just hitting blocks less than a second each while running around.

This should prove I do not contain any hacks.

After I think about this; I should of turned on my video recording system so I could easily get unbanned. Of course during my accusation; I don't; since I don't hack. Would of never thought about it till I get banned actually for hacking while I don't.

I do remember everything now; since the time frame is said and video is provided.

Was completely confused without it; I was like what the heck I don't remember any of this and etc.

I even said to myself; haven't seen Gummi on for a while so when did this occur.

As I recored this video I can honestly say there is very little lag.
You should try screen recording after you have left your laptop on, running mc under your pillow with the lid shut.
Trust me, I got on with the fans sounding like a plane to record this, it's just the screen recording which is a bit laggy.

As for the texture pack, you have to be hitting the block for usually more than a second for it to activate.

 

I don't believe you have to be hitting it for more than a second.

Either way; I've never heard of a auto-click that clicks blocks.

You can't say you were not lagging; when you produced the laggiest video.

In return; it's going to make it look worse than it is.

The video does look legit and hacky; and if I was staff I would be worried too.
But I do not hack; hopefully I am able to prove it or something since I am banned for the wrong thing.

Well I wouldn't know because I never had or have the interest to hack.

Even when I was staff; I never downloaded Nodus to help my job.

 

Ok, well auto clickers are very customisable and can do what ever you want.
I know it looks like I am lagging but it is just the video. Even if it was lag it wouldn't affect it.
As for the thing about the hacks for 1.8, I believe hacks for 1.7 would work on 1.8 and you can still run on 1.7 anyway.

 

Yes lag would causes a relapse in the events and mess it all up.

I am just trying to give you info on why I don't hack.

Analyzing everything, trying to pull out info to defend myself; since I was wrongly banned.

 

You have probably looked but do you have any screenshots or video which could support it?

 

How am I able to provide proof if I didn't ever take any screenshots or a recording.

I am on a new computer; so I am trying not to take ss. I may have some random ones; do you want something like that?

 

This ban should not have been made because you can't actually prove that Johnsey was typing out words on his keyboard while clicking. Chat lag is common. This is pitiful

All the time on Meep I'll type something, and it won't pop up on the chat until a minute later

 

This is actually a legit fact.

I am really disappointed in the current staff; Cleaves was reported for hacking.

He was under 'investigation' for a week or more.
Then I get banned so quickly and without thought.
When you guys contain no proof that is actually legit.

Ban appeal shouldn't take this long to deal with.
I know this may be complicated, but there is no need for staff to turn their eye on it.

Yesterday I saw basically all staff 'last viewing' my appeal.
In the end, none of them have left any comments or any concerns.

UPDATE: This may be easier to solve on TS.
I am sitting on TS for a bit.
Maybe some staff can come and ask me questions and etc or tell me your guys concerns.

 

A Supermod+ needs to take a look at this, and we're a little short on those at the moment. Ban appeals are typically handled here on the forums, so I'll see if someone can respond to you soon.

 

Well if you guys can't seem to be efficient with your higher ups showing up and doing their job; why can't mods make a decision. Abby banned me she didn't put any of her thoughts in while she was on last night; looking at it, but no response.

All I can say; is I am really disappointed in meep. Never had thoughts like this before about meep; now I am able to see where everyone else is coming from.

Yes it is dying; because of multiple reasons.

There are only two Supermods currently, and the Admins have been busy with the new spawn. Abby is also under no obligation to comment here - she likely would have posted the proof here if Monkey hadn't gotten to it first.

Your appeal is being discussed as we speak. I'm sorry for the wait, I know it's frustrating. But continuously bumping your appeal is not going to help, okay?

 

Well I was never told or assured that it was being dealt with.

My perspective is way different from your guys; maybe you guys should of let me know. All of my comments were just adding more info for you guys to look at.

I paired attention to staff activity and last night all were basically viewing; in return nothing was told to me.
Which made me feel annoyed.

You guys need to think of the players; how would they feel about what is happening and etc.
If I was new I would of left meep from the customer service I am seeing right now.

Johnsey, I'm sorry that you are disappointed in the current status of the server and staff if there any improvements that you want to convey quickly I believe you still have me on Skype. In regards to this ban appeal, I'm accepting this because of the fact that there is substantial doubt in what is actually happening in the proof. I hope that you can continue to enjoy meepcraft and that we don't come to this situation again.
