Media Applications

In the media application there's two boxes asking for a link to Meepcraft-related videos made by the applicant to prove their skills (pictured below)

Not sure if this is intentional and meant to weed out applicants that don't have a YouTube channel, but it definitely seems to exclude them. Having media staff that can use photo editing software and are good with social media is just as important, if not more so, than people who just make YouTube vids. Maybe make the videos an optional part of the application and allow some other relevant stuff as proof of your skill?

100% guarantee that if you just post an app and you leave those blank and you attach files instead you would still be considered

 

As monkey said attach files or an album link. For the most part it's players that make videos which is greatly needed but having a photo editor would be lovely, all you need to do is add an album and state that you are not a video creator. The option is already there to show other skills.

Admins just change the wording to video/image content instead of video content and bobs your uncle, problem solved.

 

+16549846 We have a horrible social media footprint, and someone who could work in that communications area would be great. I totally agree, especially around having someone who is proficient in PS ect who can make nice promotions / advertisements. Social Media is key.

 

I’m good at social media in 2 days I got a twitter account from 0 followers to 35 without using bots I’d like to maybe apply for a social media presence in the staff team
