Meep Gift Cards

With all the recent rank shop updates, i thought it would be fitting to suggest the idea of meep gift cards, or coupon codes that can be purchased and sent to other players.

This would benefit rank sellers as they can buy codes in advance and the rank buyer will instantly get their rank once they redeem the code. This would also allow people to give meepcraft ranks and other shop items as gifts to their friends in order to encourage them to join meep.

A "gift" button could be added to all existing shop items to allow people to buy that item as a gift code instead of getting the perks for their player.

 

Or you could just type in the name of the player you want to buy the rank for.

 

true, but then you couldn't use this feature to recruit new players...

Say you have a friend you know that wants to join meep, you could buy them VIP for $10 to get them started and help them get into the game, this making them more likely to stay.

 

The way it is is good, you can't "recruit" new players with a gift. If they've never played they'll never know they got a rank

 

I don't understand why this is needed. You can just type in the name and that saves all of the hassle.
What's the issue with how the system is now?

Honestly i kinda agree with everyone on this one but I can see with what your getting at -1 for me

 

You can already do this..simply type in said players name and they get said rank whether or not they've played meep before. Denied, thanks though!
