Qazini’s House Party
Blendy, EmperorMeznik, agnd, and many others descended on qazini’s house in an attempt to cause widespread chaos. Blendy hid a noteblock redstone creation that played the Nyan Cat song under the house on loop. Signs were introduced all throughout the property, and then a cake production factory emerged on site, complete with cows and chickens, in order to cover the house in cake. Mining Craze
A temporary pit in towny spawn was the venue of a frenzied search for valuable blocks including iron, gold, diamonds, and even a few beacons!

MeepTimes Contests
In this section, the community will get a chance to participate in a quick contest in each MeepTimes! There will be a 25k prize (from the MeepTimes writers) for one lucky winner, who will be chosen by random number generator. To be entered, just reply to the thread with an answer! Winner will be paid with the release of the next MeepTimes.

The question for this issue is: Which section of the Meeptimes do you look forward to the most? How come?

The winner to last week’s Meeptimes question was @Epixaid who chose Boomo! Though we all know he’s a pro at halo.

The Project: Grotto

What is Grotto Parkour?
Grotto Parkour is an easy difficulty course set within a lush cave.
Who was involved in this project?

• @Bloopers and @Eralois created the course
• @CluelessKlutz updated and adjusted the course to be compatible with the plugin and other smaller details.
• @LordInateur implemented all of the technical aspects of the course.

Let’s talk!
What inspired the course?
Not sure really, we sort of just thought a mushroom cave would look cool. I think - eralois built the cave before it was turned into a parkour map actually. - @Bloopers

What is your favorite portion?
I’m not great at parkour but I like a lot of the stuff after the checkpoint. A lot of those jumps can be done really quickly which is fun, but then the few jumps with ladders and that final jump is really challenging. - @Bloopers

The giant multi-colored mushrooms. I had a lot of fun making those. - @Eralois

How long did it take to create?
The map was made almost 4 years ago (February 2015) and it took around 3 days to complete. - @Eralois

What do you think of the result?
It turned out pretty well. I know that a few changes were made by some Meepcraft people such as added lights and they removed all the barriers that I had put in, which is good since I probably put way too many to avoid people cheating, but luckily they also changed some of the jumps so that you can’t cheat it. - @Bloopers

I think it's pretty good. I'm happy with the actual build and the visuals of it, but there's some things about the parkour design that I'd change if the map was made today. - @Eralois

Anything else you’d like to add?
A little fact about the map before it was put onto Meepcraft is that it was originally named Overgrown Cavern (which was changed by Meepstaff). I really like the name Grotto instead since it makes a lot more sense. - @Bloopers

Story Time with the Crew ft. The Adventures of mr mail man by @ScaredyPants

Chapter 1: Mushroom Soup
It was a calm day down at KitPvP. The birds chirping, the trees swaying in the breeze and of course, a few players getting feisty, pvp-ing. One of these players was DarkKnight. He had been a regular at KitPvp, always battling others and surprisingly winning.

However, that day, DarkKnight had stumbled across someone different, as he was hiding in George's House. knock knock goes the mysterious person. DarkKnight prepares his sword in his hand, ready to fight.
The door squeaks open but before he lashes out his sword, DarkKnight realizes it's a mail man. A mail man? At KitPvp? Blasphemy!

"What do you want?" asks DarkKnight, not ready to fool around.

"I brought you some mushroom soup," replies the mail man, hastily.

"I don’t need mushroom soup mail man now get out of my house," snaps DarkKnight.

"But it’s from your son," the mail man says.

"My son..." DarkKnight puts his sword down and looks at the mushroom soup, then up at mail man. "mr mail man... you’re my son...."

"You dum b O !" from that day on, mum and mr mail man aka son had been reunited. but all was not well just yet.

Chapter 2: Boat
Though the mother son relationship between mum and mr mail man had seemed to be on its jolly way, things were all not well. mr mail man had just finished building the toilet room at her casino (is a vital part for a casino). Strangely, mum was interested in seeing his son’s creation. So off they went, into the toilet room.

But of course, mum wasn't interested in seeing the toilet room. He wanted to tell his son something more important, about her family.

"mr mail man nice bathroom" mum says, trying to sound not suspicious.

"Thanks mum it was a lot of hard work" mr mail man replies, whilst she plants some flowers.

"Your Aunty has come to visit you" mum changes the topic quickly. and as she said that, a boat moved in through the door, into the toilet room.

"My aunty is...a boat?" mr mail man was very surprised.

"Well how do you do aunty boat!" mr mail man goes to handshake aunty boat but accidentally breaks her, and aunty boat is cleared away. No more aunty boat.

"Son..." mum looks very displeased like he’s about to throw rockets at son.

"O....." mr mail man looks left and right as if nothing happened. But something did happen. mr mail man just killed her own aunty.

mr mail man really hoped her mum wouldn’t be too fussed over killing her own aunt. Did mum even like his own sister anyways!?!? But surprisingly, mum soon shrugged off the death of aunt boat but occasionally uses it against mr mail man.

Chapter 3: Stanley
But, all was not well, again. Though mr mail man seemed a little inconsiderate killing her own aunt, mum thought it would be okay to have mr mail man keep her cousin safe.

“Son, I have something to tell you.” mum tells mr mail man.

“I’m really sorry mum I didn’t mean to kill aunty boat please forgive me mum,” mr mail man pleaded.

“No, it’s not that you dumbo, I’m putting your only cousin in your hands for a few weeks. seeing that you killed his mum” replies mum.

“O..” mr mail man thinks. “What’s his name?”

“Stanley, Stanley the Salmon. Whatever you do, DON’T EAT HIM otherwise I’ll confiscate your mail man rights and you go to get jailed you dumbo” mum smirks, but gleefully passes Stanley to mr mail man.

mr man man had a lot of responsibility in her hands. A few days had passed, and mr mail man was cleaning out her room full of chests. She came upon Stanley who she stored safely in her special chest. But instead of grabbing Stanley and putting him back in the chest, she ate Stanley.

Stanley died.

Chapter 4: Jail
So of course, mr mail man didn’t get away with this. No way. Mum was extremely disappointed in his son’s own actions and decided it was time for her to pay. While mr Mail man was tidying up his cozy abode, he got teleported by the flash of light into the local Meep Jail. He was shook. More shooketh one can never be! mr mail man didn't even have the ability to get out, or even speak! He was locked in there. Forever.

While mr mail man looked in desperation through the iron bars, his mum looked at him with an evil laugh. How could a mum do such a thing to a loyal son?
Even worse, mum brought in other people to put his son at shame. SHAME.

Poor mr mail man had to write notes to his mum by using a pen and paper he had in his pocket.
Worser than this, there wasn’t even a bed mr mail man could sleep on.

“You shouldn’t have killed Stanley and aunty boat u dum b O’ mum said. ‘then you wouldn’t be here!” he laughed.

“If you want to get out you have to pay the 40k bail no matter what!”

mr mail man couldn’t even pay for a simple bread loaf, let alone a 40k bail charge to get out of jail. Darn to heck, mr mail man just needed a get out of jail free card!

“But mum I dont have that money! I can’t even work at the mail depot because I’m in jail!” cried mr mail man. Mum should start feeling sorry. But no, mr mail man had just killed two family members.
“Find another way u dum b O” and off went mum and the other bystanders.

Chapter 5: Dad Sign
A few weeks had passed since mr mail man was let out of jail. however she still received threats from her mum.

“Pay your bail”

“dum b O”

“'Banned”

“'Jailed”

But mr mail man tried to shrug it off and not let it affect her life. She knew mum didn't really mean it, right?
One day, mr mail man was doing finishing touches on the back of her new shop building, when mum appeared.

“Pls no jail, I will pay bail.” pleaded mr mail man.

“No jail u dum b O but I have something else to tell you.” replied mum.

“Do you want to meet your real dad?”

Real dad? Did mr mail man have a fake dad? What is this blasphemy!

“O...sure…” responded mr mail man awkwardly.

Mum placed a sign on the ground.

“Meet your dad, dad sign, you break him and I break you, you dum b O” says mum.

“Then you have to go live with step dad void for the rest of your life and no mac and cheez” says mum.

Step dad void? Dad sign? How come mr mail man didn't know about this?

And more importantly, why was mr mail man not being given mac and cheez??

What do you enjoy the most about Meep?
I don’t really know. I guess it’s the people.

You run a fairly large town, Hydropolis. How’s that like?
It can be stressful at times but I really like it. It helps me be less shy talking to new people.

Why did you go with the Hydropolis theme?
I just thought it would be cool and I couldn’t find any others on Meep at the time. I wanted the name to have something to do with water and Atlantis was already taken.

What are the differences between building on land and underwater?
On land you only have to flatten the area. When building underwater, not only do you have to flatten the area, but you also have to make it so that the residents can actually use the plot without drowning. It’s a little easier in some ways though. You don’t have to be able to fly to make large structures.

You’re an avid music fan. What do you enjoy about it? What’s your favorite genre?
It may seem a bit weird, but I actually like the metal genre. As for what I enjoy most about music, I like how a song can tell a story even without lyrics.

When and how did you first get into music?
I first got into music in general towards the end of 6th grade, but I got into metal a little after I graduated from high school. For music in general, I guess I just liked it so much that I wanted to start playing it. For metal, I saw a video and I liked the song in the background and looked up the lyrics.

What’s a band or artist that you’d recommend?
One of my favorites is called ‘Rhapsody of Fire’.

I look forward to the stories because I love seeing different people go and express ideas or plot lines with the community. And reading is an escape from the rest of the world while you just transform into the story you’re reading; even in short stories, the feeling is still there
