    Ok so, I just a new gaming desktop and I have started to play minecraft and my chat comes up like this (http://imgur.com/7x7hKL9). Is there anyway to make it not go over my whole monitor screen?

    Go into your minecraft settings. There should be something called Chat Settings. There you can readjust the size and other things. Hope this helped.

    I had this before. If it is the same problem as I had, go into options and find GUI Scale. (Something along those lines). Click on it a few times until everything is decently sized.
