Ok honestly after seeing all the posts about reviving meepcraft, I can't help but not believe that it's even possible at this point. For one, Minecraft itself is a dying game, demonstrated by Badlion's closing and the fact that Hypixel is peaking at a player population 50% of its peak. there is no way in hell a server as dead as meep with a server quality dwarfed by that of servers like hypixel and minehq comes back when the game it is based on is dying. Plus, all the ideas I've seen on how to revive it are so dumb it's unbelievable. No amount of stock plugins or gold value manipulation is going to save the server. Just let it die peacefully and don't spend any more money on Ultimate ranks - fuzz doesn't deserve it if he's not going to put effort into his server. Reviving meepcraft would be harder than making FNAF into an esport - it's just not going to happen.

 

The only way to "revive" meep is to turn it into a gaming community, not solely a minecraft server.

If fuzzlr wont get on the server and actually code and do stuff then he needs to either shut it ALL down or pass it on to someone else

But the fact we are growing a little again as a server is important, if people would actually get out there and pay for advertisments for the server, then we could grow big once again.

 

Advertisements work for about one month and cost tons, not a good investment. Keep voting, it’s bringing in players.

This thread provides no reason the server is dying other than Minecraft being on a decline, which has been said for over a year, yet we’re still here.

The server has had a much smaller playersbase before and survived.

The server still has an active community (even if you want to say it is smaller than maybe a year ago), a staff team with every role, and a ton of people that care enough about the server to come on everyday regardless of if they have something to do. Meep has loyalty, and I don’t think the server will ever have no one until one day the server goes down forever.

Negative threads do nothing to help the server. Do you mean to help, or harm?

 

When Mojang finally takes action and shuts it down...

 

do you expect him to do all of the work? like, all of the coding, adding suggestions, building the maps, all by himself?

 

both of those are threads proposing solutions, from 2016, that do not reflect the same ideas of my thread. my thread, admittably quite depressing, was basically saying to stop dedicating time and money to fixing the server as there's no feasible way it comes back

 

just make minecraft 2 and make a server on it boom fixed

Getting in-game actually slows down development of the API since you're on a game and not writing the program. So . . . cool.

 

I doubt he's actually writing the API when he isn't in game either
