Intro: Hello! I’m mrli1, an elite of the server. I’ve currently been playing about a year and a half. May be a bit less, but who knows. Anyways, I have loved all minigames played. So, about me? I am a 7th grader that tries for straight A’s, but was not always successful. I am currently in the baseball season and I’m not that good, to be honest with you . I’m Indonesian, Chinese, and American all wrapped into one. I love sushi and music, two things that make the world go round, I tell you! Of course, minecraft is my favorite compared to the two, and of course my mom doesn’t like me playing… oh well .
I still do, just so you know.

Why?: I mean, before I was a bit busy. But I think I can handle the job well now. I want to be staff so I can help people past the extent of citizen. Most noobie helper apps say they want to be helper because they “Want to help”, but, well, that’s the same with me. But they should know that they can help people just the same when they are citizens. I do enjoy helping new players imberse into the community, and I have succeeded with that as a citizen. However, when it comes to things with HawkEye, I would love to help people with banning people with theft, advertizing, inappropriate content, and more. I can’t ban as an elite, that could not be very productive as a server whole. But I feel that if this is accepted, I can help more with the advertizing, theft, etc… part of the bit.

Here come more sections of the ‘why’, be prepared!

Dedication: I have been playing for 17 months, no kidding. You may not remember me as a younger citizen, but truth be told, I actually started at December 2012. I have stuck through the crueltygaming era, a bit of old meep, and I came back from a long hiatus in December. If you really want to criticize me for just coming back, I will say this: It’s been 3 months. Anyways, I feel that I am stuck to the best minecraft server out there.

Work Ethic: I believe that if I became helper, I would work my butt off in order to help people have a good time on the server, as kindly as possible. I would work so hard to have the most modreq’s, that I just might. I would also not be afraid to ask for help. If I needed help when I was completing modreq’s, I wouldn’t be afraid to ask.

Performance: Well, I’ll be honest. I know how to use a lot of the staff-related plugins on the server. For example, HawkEye. I watch all of the youtube videos that the staff post, and that helps me figure out how to use HawkEye a lot.

Experience: As said in performance I know how to use the vast majority of the staff-related plugins on the server. I know what the HawkEye commands are, some of the modreq commands, and more. (/check, /claim #, etc)

Here comes the section no one likes to post in.

Weaknesses: I have a few that may affect my time as staff if this gets accepted, but I believe that I can put these past me and make my experience a good one.

Immaturity: I often abbreviate things, unneeded. Things such as thx, bby, plz, pl0x, and the list goes on. I am only 13, and I believe that a little immaturity would be expected at my age. But I will be sure to do my best to overcome this weakness and make sure that it will be overcome in the future.

Activity: As I said in my intro, I try for straight A’s. Sadly, my mother limits me according to grades. If I don’t have A’s, she puts me to 1 hour a day (I manage to get another half hour in though )

Rage / Impatience: I sometimes feel frustrated with people that don’t understand how to do things the first time. I also get frustrated when people don’t want my advice because I’m not qualified enough… Example of this:

and my rage would probably flourish beyond those.

Conclusion: Well, that application has summed up the reasons I should be a MeepCraft [Helper]. I hope you actually read and not skim (If you do it’s okay I do too sometimes) and I hope you enjoyed it. I will take all feedback into consideration and work on it accordingly. If this gets denied, I'll be sure to work on all of your suggestions to me! Thanks for reading!

I have seen quality work and help from you recently and in the past. Even when you were a young citizen, you were always helping. I remember when I was a newer member, remarking that I was looking for a job, and you had me lay out tons of stone brick and wood for your little town. That was awesome getting to work with you on that.

I don't mind that you came back in December. A person can change A LOT in 3 months. I know I have, and a lot of my friends have.

Activity:
In-game:
Fairly decent, I am only an hour ahead of you, and I see a lot of you in /shout helping and just going with the flow in the community. I understand the grade aspect of online time, and I don't think that will necessarily be a problem.
Forums:
You are fairly active with almost 1000 posts at the time of writing this post (996). You post often on staff apps, if not every single one of them. You are in Q&A very frequently responding to questions quickly and efficiently. I have no doubt that you will stay active on the forums if you do become a staff member.
TeamSpeak:
I have seen you more and more on TS the past few days. I love that you are getting to participate in another aspect of the community.

The Application:
The application overall was decent, however I think it could have been better. It was sort of the same thing over and over again. "I've seen hawkeye and how to use it" was basically what I got from your 'Why' section. I really would of liked to see an expansion on that part of the application.

The most important section to me is the weaknesses section. When someone points out a weakness that he/she has, I am glad that they see them. It is hard for someone to talk negatively about themselves. Immaturity is something I do not like to see in a staff member at all. I haven't seen much from you, and I hope I don't get to see much more from you. Overall, you are mature for your age as I thought you were a little older when I recently talked to you. The rage/impatience aspect is HUGE for me. I understand that one can get frustrated and impatient if someone does treat someone like that; however, staff need to deal with this on a day to day basis. If someone doesn't respond to your /msg's, you need to be patient and make sure they know how/teach them how to. If someone is being rude, all that one can do is sit back and take a deep breath. I don't ever want to see a staff member rage at someone. It does not represent staff well, and staff are meant to represent the community in a positive way. we are here to encourage and help people.

Overall:
I don't really have a score for you because I think I need to see more from you before I can give a correct score.

EDIT:
Also, when I released my Moderator application a couple months ago, you posted with in minutes that you thought my application was great. You hadn't even read it unless you read it at the speed of light. I see you post on a ton of applications that just come out, and sometimes I don't think they are honest scores. It is more just like you are posting your opinion of the person instead of what they are applying for.

Also, you are just liking the posts that went in depth or gave you a + and not a minus. My suggestion would be to either like all of them (the person took the time to read your application and write back to you), or not like any of them.

 

I'm sorry, but I simply don't think you have the maturity enquired for a staff position.

You're not active and I've seen more than my fair share of immaturity from you. Also, I don't think you have a concept of how staff fundamentally works and its hard to really explain that but, my best little tidbit is that you constantly comment on helper->mod apps that you don't see the person enough in shout, you just don't seem to fully understand what staff do and what it takes to be a mod. I did actually enjoy your app, the bulleted stuff is really nice for me, personally, because I just like having it clear and concise.

 

I have to say I am a +/- you are a great guy, no one can deny that and plenty of staff members are immature *cough* Onis *cough* but I don't think you are ready for it, best of luck

-1 a pattern that I've realized after this is that every thing that you say is good follows up with a negative. That shows you aren't very confident with what you're doing. I also see you being very immature a lot and a bit mean. Your activity is ok you're just not using it in the best ways you can.

You've been a relatively committed player for a while which shows that you won't just drop off the face of the earth, but you have also shown immaturity, and I just don't see you being an efficient moderator.

Oh my god, please no. You cannot take criticism, I had a post on you wall saying something (Can't remember what) about you, it was criticism and you got all mad and then after a few days you deleted the post. Also, you constantly post -1s on apps. I have never actually seen you give a +1, even for the most experienced of players. Whenever I look at an app it's always the same reason or something. And your maturity....... Don't even get me started on that, okay? Oh, and when you post on apps I honestly think it's just to get your posts up so you could apply. You also said you would not apply, which I said you would and you did, hmph. It's an obvious -1.

 

Thanks chirp, and yes, I had done that in the past. I have actually changed from back then, and I have decided to apply for the sole reason that I'm less busy and can be sure to have the time (besides trying to help other players). That's why I said I couldn't apply back then. The -1's on the apps were based on my opinions, and I do actually post +1s on a lot of apps that you may or may not have read. But I understand your basis of the point of this post, and I thank you for this piece of criticism. I hope to change in the future.

This is a battle of my thoughts. You are one of my closest minecraft buddies, but I cannot be biased just because we are good friends. Your activity rate is not exactly the best, but you help in game. On multiple occasions I have seen you help others in /shout, and you are a good friend. You can be immature at times, and can also be rude and mean. Every time I am on, you are on teamspeak, which is a good thing. I may not be the most active person on it, but I believe I am active enough to actually have an opinion about it. Also, your app was not very good.
You've been here for a fairly long time, almost 3 times as long as me. Now onto the forums. You're extremely active on forums, although I do see some items posted irrelevant to the topic. When you post on the "Staff Recruitment" page, sometimes I feel you read part of the app; and then move on. Just because of the fact that your grades can destroy your career on Meepcraft, it makes me wonder whether or not this job is fit for you at the moment. I can't exactly post a -1, +1, or even a +/-, because that I can't decide. If I do post one, it would be biased, so I will refrain from saying a grade level, and only say some tips I think you should work on. This post took me much longer to type, rather than my other long posts, because of the very fact I can't decide. Your a great friend of mine IG, your basically the reason I started playing Meepcraft again. Since then I've seen you grow to help the Meep Community and help players constantly. Ive been waiting for this Application and would love to see you as a helper! +1 for me!
