Everyone has nightmares and studies have shown it. You may not remember most of your dreams, but definitely remember nightmares. Share down your nightmares. Have any that still haunt you today? I made this thread because I just woke up thinking tickle me Elmo ate my taco and then demanded a raise

Wait I was just informed I have 10 wait no 30 wait no now my lawyer says I should shutup...

 

I think I had a dream that I was running away from something, but I couldn't run at all. If I tried, I think my legs would move slowly and sluggishly but I would still be in the same spot.

 

I have that one all the time it's scary and always wakes me up also once i had a nightmare where my and my friends were adults and all had picaxes ( I just got minecraft that day) and we were going a around a haunted house. We were mocking it but then all of a sudden the scary stuff became real I was so creeped out

Here's one I laugh at. Once I had a nightmare where I couldn't find the cookie jar. It as so scarrrryyyyy!!! NO COOKIES!!! No cookies =NO SUGAR HIGH

 

I had a dream I was part of a serial shooting duo

 

oh man i've had some cray cray nightmares but i have one that has repeated every year.

It's sorta lame but i always dream that bugs grow extremely big and invade the world and all humans but me die so i'm all alone. then the nightmare ends, or i just can't remember more of it.

 

I have a really bad fear of tsunamis, we live quite near the harbour too. I have had multiple nightmares about it too. It's horrible, but I tell myself, I'll wake up in the morning and probably forget about it.

 

Before years, I had a dream:my family and I were normally sleeping in the night, and suddently a lion in human form wearing a robe? broke the door of our house with a big axe and started chasing us.

I remember one nightmare extremely vividly, and it goes like this. Should I tell it as a spooky story? Sure.

You wake up at school. Your form room. You look around. It looks like no-one is here. Just you, all alone. It's dark out. Very dark. All the tables and chairs are overturned, and the blackboard has a chalk hand-print on it. You walk out of the room, and you're at the beach. Again, no one's here, and it's pitch black. You turn around to see where you are, but you can only see five feet in front of you. You turn back to the ocean, but it's not water anymore. It's the gates to Charlie's Chocolate Factory, and Mr Willy Wonka is inviting you in. You accept his request. But once you get inside, you see. A glass tank, full of water, your best friend inside, screaming for help. You scream. And scream. And scream.

And then I either wake up or move on to another dream.

There's this one thing that really annoys / scares me. It's difficult to explain, kind of like @xKaiChen's profile pic. You see a bunch of black dots in a white background, and it starts with not much black. It slowly increases, and the black dots get bigger and bigger and start moving around and wriggling, and it scares me so much.

 

I've had those repeatedly lol

 

I have a dream where chickens could cross the road without their intentions being asked. It turned into a nightmare after all the chickens started a "nether wart lab/farm" on the other side of the road and then they took over humans only sparring those who play meep because Meep Meep is their leader (roadrunner) scary dream

 

I usually get nightmares when i'm under a lot of stress or pressure. They mainly involve school. For example; I didn't hand in one of my projects that was due last week. I would have nightmares that the teacher hated me and began to yell at me. An actual story I have happened in October of last year and was about my old school. I really didn't like my old school, and I frequently flipped out at teachers. At the beginning of this school year, I visited my old school to hang out with some old friends, it was a damp day with very little sunlight and mainly just grey skies. I remember feeling like I wasn't welcome and received a very depressing and negative energy. A few days later, I remember I dreamed that I was trying to visit the school, and in the dream it was raining outside as all of my stress-related nightmares are. At the entrance of the building, the two social workers came down and began to yell at me saying that I needed a password to get in. I kept on guessing right, but I remember that they kept changing it. they are mainly suppressed memories, but lately it's been stress related. In my dreams like this, it's always raining outside.

 

Sugar highs don't exist


I've had nearly daily nightmares for 4-5 years up until a few months ago when it started getting better. They poked into my paranoia and anxiety and are honestly really really dark.

 

I've had dreams where I'm at a party in a house that's also a movie theater, and in the end, I start to vomit projectiles. It's weird.

There was this one dream where I was sleeping in my own bed. I blink and I suddenly have a hard time breathing. Slender's face appears in my vision.
I could list all the nightmares I have had so far, but there's some that are just... ugh.

 

I'm not in control of myself, I'm looking out from my body through my eyes but I'm paralysed. Then I stand up and I walk around, I'm talking and trying to scream because it's not me saying those words it's something else. I take my family and close friends one by one to this garage saying I've got a surprise for them and then I kill them all slowly, but it's not me in control and once I've done and they're all dead I walk over to this huge mirror in the garage and I slowly walk towards it then my body starts to itch and the blood of my family strips my flesh like acid until I turn into this skeletal monster. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I haven't had a nightmare in a long time. Maybe when I was like 8 or 9 years old.

The last nightmare I remember having was when I watched "The Grudge" and she would do the "uhhhhhhhhhh" noise that really freaked me out. I had one where she was in my house, and I can hear people screaming in the basement, and the "uhh" noise. I couldn't control my body, but it was heading towards the basement when she jumped out of the shadows and woke me up. After that, since my house is really old so you can hear the creaks when it's absolutely quiet. I heard a door creaking down the hallway and I got up and went to the hallway (the light switch is in the middle of the hallway) right before I flicked the switch I heard some stuff fall in the storage room, because of our cat, and I bolted back into my bed and started hiding under the blanket. You know... blankets are the ultimate protection of bad things.

Also I guess I had a nightmare about Jeff the Killer, since his face is so... creepy.

 

I won't lie, I scrolled down to quickly and saw this pic. My heart skipped a beat.

its only spooky if her head is turned upside down and she's become a human spider
