As a player in game did not believe that I have a parrot and that he is extremely friendly, Here is a video of me stroking my bird.

Sorry for the video quality, my good camera's lens was incredibly dirty due to that parrot thinking it would be funny to wander off his cage and go and start licking the camera's shiny lens for no apparent reason.

Yes he talks, however he swears enough to make a sailor blush.

While he is incredibly friendly he is still cautious around people.

He has several names he responds to. "Dave, Chuck, Chucky, Chuckles, and strangely enough, John Bender."

 

I want a pet bird.

But I'm afraid it will be eaten by my cat...

 

Me and this bird will be the BEST OF FRIENDS.

 

Birds of that size are no push over. A bite from him can easily take a beak sized chunk of flesh with it. But he doesnt bite me because the last time He did, I bit him back. Not joking.

I still have my python but he is in a separate room.

 

I demand a video of you petting the python
I love snakes even more than birds...

 

I would not be able to do so while he is shedding his skin. So in around two weeks remind me to get one.

It is not wise to pet a shedding snake as snakes including mine become defensive when shedding.

I would rather not incur the wrath of an angry 15 foot long python.

 

This I know. I like snakes. I read up quite a bit when my parents said maybe xD

And in the video I mention "still" petting him. I was petting him for about an hour before the video was filmed. And continued to do so for another 15 minutes after the video ended.
