    They are making changes with 1.9 so that it doesn't cause issued on the server, such as PvP. I really want to go to 1.9 for the whole server (with modifications).

    There would be more things in 1.9, like the end cities and elyctra. I think it would be fun to move to 1.9.

    You should be able to still log in with 1.8 regardless. And if you meant this to be a suggestion, than this is the wrong forum.
