Bug: Skeletons deal knockback through shields

Summary of Bug: Normally (in singleplayer) when you block a skeleton's arrow with a shield, it doesnt deal knockback. They seem to deal knockback on Meepcraft. Video:

Additional information: I'm not sure if this is intentional, but it certainly makes fighting skeletons a pain, as they knock you back fairly quickly

 

It's just a skeleton. Like a lonely, unarmored skeleton.

Crown towers can kill them one shot, so why can't you?

Say you're fighting a skeleton on a cliff in the wild because you went to find a mineshaft at night or went to go find some animals to kill for food. You have your shield, but you can't get past the skeleton because of the knockback. You either have to try to run past him or make him miss.

There will be a chance, if you're constantly jumping to get a critical hit, that the skeleton WILL knock you off the cliff. If you have good armor, you will probably be saved. If you went with nothing but your tools, you will lose your items.

Note: This doesn't apply to the Event game with the skeletons in the towers because you have nothing to defend yourself with.

 

Can we have this problem atleast addressed?

 

This may be a small bug, but its a rather pointless one to deal with as it isn't causing issues.
