So basically this is a thread where you talk about anything it gets too quiet around here.
Ill start - Reddit or Instagram which ones better? Im pretty sure instagram is better except all the stupid adds that get posted by meme pages.

Also, Reddit is infinitely better than instagram. Completely different platforms comparing the greatest forums of all time to a photo sharing platform

 

You're right, we shouldn't really be comparing a public photo sharing service with a conversation hub. Still, I agree that Reddit is more suited to my taste

To be honest, I feel like both have their own shares of pros and cons; Personally, I opt for reddit

i really just use Reddit because it lets me talk about specific topics rather than specific people - sure, on Instagram you can talk about specific topics too but it’s not exactly made for discussion in that way

the whole subreddit system is exactly what i need to talk about games or hobbies i like

instagram is good for following specific people rather than topics, so it has its uses for me too... though i don’t use it anywhere near as much as Reddit

this is exactly why i can never bother with actual political discussion on reddit - they have their own views and will not let you speak of yours, the upvote downvote system is abused when it comes to “wrong opinions” so it’s near impossible to be heard
