Task of the day.

No this isn't jobs like the old jobs.

I just wrote this and my internet crashed plus it's the end of my break so a quick suggestion.

Idea: Task of the day is just that. A daily job.
The server gives you a randomised job per day over 24hours server time.
The tasks could range from,
⊙kill 10 players.(Could create more traffic for terrarium/kit)
⊙chop 20 oak.
⊙mine 10iron
Etc ...

We could have a hand in table for most completes like the currency table.

The reward could be a diamond pick for mining .
Diamond sword for fighting or just the typical meeble reward. it would have to reward you more than what you would get for selling the items.

Could make lag and it will be a task to make but. It would be beneficial to the sever.

As a person who plays roleplaying servers on gmod and other games.. im all for this. So +1

Make Npc missions for item gathering that reset after x amount of days or time

Also do something where every couple of minutes there is a message such as:

"First one to type in MeepCraftRocks wins a prize"
or
"First one to unscramble tfcrmpeae wins a prize"
*Word above is meepcraft*
or a random word like
"First one to type in the word Oranges win a prize"


It would be a prize of 1k or maybe more.
Maybe every 10 minutes one of these could happen.

Make sure once a word is used you have a queue (like the auction plugin) that chooses a different word everytime, but, after maybe 100 contests it will reuse the same word. (I doubt someone will wait 1,000 minutes to win a 1k prize..)

I love this idea. Another add on to this is instead of earning an item after you finish a task you can get a Meep Point. After you get so many points there will be different things you can buy and the better the stuff then the more points you will need to buy it. Just a suggestion to this idea. +1 though!

 

Great idea! Fun way to do work without actually getting tired, and I haven't even started on the reward! Rewards are things that make me get out of bed in the morning. =D

 

This would require a bunch of coding to make it happen and since it is very similar to jobs i doubt it will get done. Also, if this suggestion is just a easier way to make money there are plenty of ways to do so now. You want 20 logs, go chop them and then sell them at /warp shop
