THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO ME JUST TODAY!

Before I start this story, I'm gonna say that it might to be super scary for the people reading, and you might think I'm making this up, but actually try and imagine being in my position, and match all of these events up together, then you'll see how freaky it gets, and this happened, jsut today...Enjoy...

So, a normal day, I'm sitting playing on my computer like I always do. My mum had gone out to her dance class, my dad in a different country and my maid on vacation. I'm home alone at from 4:45pm to 6:15pm. So my mum left at 4:45, leaving me all alone, nothing new, I am left alone every now and then and I have nothing against it. Minutes pass, and I start having this random thought about the paranormal in my head and I started thinking: 'I don't believe in the paranormal, for me to do so something would have to happen to me, but I don't want anything to happen and I don't want to believe in that stuff regardless.' Seconds after, I start to get this strong feeling of being watched. Now bear in mind, I've lived in the complex for 6 years now and 4 paranormal/strange things have happened to JUST ME.

First time, I was about 10-11. I had this small goal post in my room with a net. I was staring at it one day and the net just flung backwards and sung around, being young, I got scared and ran to my mum making some excuse that I can't sleep and I was forced back into my room, yes you can laugh at me, I was 10-11. Then when I was 13, the same thing happened again, the weird thing is, I was thinking about it just before it happened, just like today...I thought about it and looked at it and it flung back once again, but this time I just laughed and thought nothing of it. Bear in mind I do not hallucinate or see/hear things ever. Another time, I was eating breakfast, simply staring at the off TV, and it shook, and it shook hard. I just finished eating and walked away. And finally one day, I was taking a shower, and I had this bottle in my shower for some reason, and it looked like someone had flung the bottle and it shoot, door closed, no drafts, it just shoot hard. I quickly finished my shower and though nothing of it.

And today, I have had yet another experience. So I started it off, sitting home alone bla bla thinking what I was thinking. 5 minutes later, I hearr a door open, it was my dads bathroom door. I knew this because it had a distinctive sound. His door always has that sound when you open it. From what I remember, his door was always open but I never looked today so I wouldn't know. I thought nothing of it, I heard it, but I thought I was paranoid or something. 5 seconds later, another door, and another, at this point I have stopped playing and I have full attention on these noises. My house is 1 floor and it is pretty compact when it comes to my room, my mums room and my dads room. They are all about 2 meters apart from each other (door distance) and my room is the farthest from the main door, it'd take about 3-5 seconds with my speed to run down my hallway, and I'm one of the fastest if not the fastest in my grade and everyone in my school is pretty fast. So I try to make sense of these noises, I always think logically and think of a scientific thing that could've possibly happened, but I heard footsteps, and I was damn sure no one was in the house but me. At least I thought. At this point, I grabbed my keys, ran to my door as fast as possible, and I unlocked it and went outside. I went down to my pool floor and called my dad, he said to call a guard up and I did. We looked around, both of us, in ALL THE ROOMS, remember that I said that, ALL THE ROOMS and there was NOTHING, no smell, no signs of anyone being there, NOTHING. I go back down and wait for my mum to arrive, by this time her class is already finished. I give her a call and she says she'll be here in 5 minutes so I just wait outside by my door in the corridor, where other people live too. So as I'm waiting for my mum, I thought I heard something from inside the house, I put my ear to the door, and I heard foot steps, and sure enough, it was the damn flip flops again. It got louder and louder and stopped right at the door. I backed away and slowly walked to the elevators and waited there. She came in, I took a knife and searched around, nothing, but as soon as I walked into my mums room, a very strong smell of smoke hit both of us. Cigarette smoke. Coming from my mums bathroom. She said these exact words and I quote "It smells like someone sat in here, and smoked, and left." By this point, after what just happened, I crapped myself, how could she have 'accidentally' said that at a time like this? Weird. And the smell had just hit because after we smelt it, it went around the whole house. How come it wasn't here before? How come it didn't spread earlier? Bear in mind this was 10 minutes after the search I made the first time, and there was no smell the first time. Soon after the smell of smoke had gone away, but it now smelled like garlic, a very very strong smell of garlic. It ends there, It's now 9:09pm by the time I have finished writing this. I hope this is my last paranormal experience in this house, I don't feel like I'm being watched anymore but I honestly do not have a logical explenation for this, and I 94% of the time come up with one for everything because that's just how I am, but this, this is different and I just simply cannot come up with anything...

UPDATE: Today before I went to school, my mum and me were next to each other the whole day. And before I start, I wanna say my mum checks the door a million times at night to make sure it's locked and I know she automatically locks it at night without even thinking, but this morning, the chain of my door was off, and the lock was completly open. Also a water heater had been turned on when it was left off from 2 PM, it is now 3:30 PM...

 

I have had similar experiences, but not as crazy as this one.
When I was 12 or 13 I had a walk in closet at my dads town house and I was
staying there for the weekend. I had a small bag that I always brought with me,
when I was changing out of my pajamas I looked over at my bag to take some clothing
out of it, it started shaking violently and I grabbed my things and ran out of there.
(so because I'm Christian I prayed and such bla bla) I got rid of that specific bag
and none of that stuff ever happened again.

I have no doubt that there is some kind of spiritual thing in your house, don't be alarmed. It is only wanting attention.
You are bigger than whatever it is. and you tell it who is boss. Don't be scared, be angry at it. Also, if you need to, (I do this sometimes)
I put a big bubble like forcefield around myself and my family, its made up of the love and care for one another. NOTHING can break that bubble. I hope this helps (somewhat) You don't have to be afraid, you have amazing people who care and love you. <3

 

I have a stuffed bear which moves to different places around the house every night. Normally i would consider this a prank but theres 1 problem.
I live alone.

Yes needles will pop bubbles, but in this situation its more spiritual than anything. xD You made me laugh though, so thankyou!

 

There are no such things as spiritual beings that move around in our world. Ghosts, angels, monsters, tooth fairy's, whatever you wanna call it.
Seriously. Take a second to clear your mind, and have a think about it. How would you ever explain such things? There's no science here. A person dies, but then doesn't die? Said person's soul rises and floats around and haunts people? When they die do they suddenly gain a passion for scaring the crap out of people? And gain a passion for night time? And only like old, run down places? Why doesn't a ghost move into a 5 star hilton? And if people become ghosts when they die, wouldn't there be about... 60 billion of them? What about animals? Is there some kind of law that only humans have souls?
So many questions. Not a shred of evidence.

I'm sure there is some kind of explanation for what happened anikin, I've had some weird stuff happen too. But spiritual beings are just too far fetched to believe.

 

I don't know what happened, therefore... ghosts? Logic fail.

I've had unexplained noises and things in my house, too, but rather than reach for the magical answer, I kept looking, and sure enough, I found the causes.

As Forte said, yes I'm convinced there's a spiritual being in your house. Nothing that bad should happen, at least I don't think so. I've had extremely similar experiences as - let's see, a 6 year old - I always thought of it as a spiritual being. If you're lucky, it's going to definitely be a good spirit, if not...well, try to be careful!

 

Hm, I couldn't necessarily say that I believe in the paranormal but I can't say I don't either as I've had experiences myself... It's a long post but I know some people enjoy reading about this stuff anyways, so I'm just going to put it out there for whoever wants to read.

BACKSTORY
Shortly after my mother had passed (actually not shortly, she passed January 2015, this happened October 2015.) and I believe totally coincidentally it was after Halloween weekend at my campground had ended, I had an incident with a little girl, who looked to be about 3-4 years old. At that time, I had been nonstop talking about and wanting to dye my hair with a blonde ombre/highlight tone to it, sort of how my mother had hers done for my entire life.

So, the entire weekend I had been hangin' out with these two guys I've known for many summers, but towards the end they had gotten on my nerves and I wanted some time alone to think. Every time they drove past me on their golfcart, asking me to hop on and assuming I was upset with them specifically, when all I really wanted was to walk/run to get some things off my mind, I'd say no and continue to ignore them. Many, many times. If I would have taken one of the many opportunities they gave me for a ride away, the following situation would have never happened. Which is why I believe there's definitely a reason behind everything. There was something in the back of my mind that I was unaware about, that compelled me to go for a walk that day.

STORY
It was a Sunday, around 4pm after all the "weekenders" (temporary campers) and most everybody else at the campground had left. We were soon going to leave and head home ourselves, too. I was running around this little bend in the gravel road that I was on, listening to music via earbuds on full blast, when this adorable, blonde-haired, little girl on a tricycle appears in front of me. I could see she was opening her mouth to say something to me but I couldn't understand what through my music.

By the time I had managed to yank both earbuds out and turn around ~90 degrees to say "Sorry?" I heard a faint "I love brown hair" come out of her mouth. Confused by what I heard, and almost brushing it off at first, I came to a very slow jog and was looking forward again. By the time I had fully processed what I heard, I turned around once more to muster out a curious "Thank you?" but she was gone. Just like that. Quicker than she had appeared, out of thin air. There were no weekend sites around anymore, everything was empty. No parents, no siblings, no little girl. That's pretty much it. No explanation behind what happened, nothing.

To this day, I believe it could've been an angel or some form of my mother, trying to tell me as she always had, that she loved my hair the way it was and that she didn't want me to think any less of myself, or to touch my "natural beauty" as she liked to put it.

Ah yes, I have had the Ghost Busters come over and deal with my infestation of the Elf on the Shelf. That thing moved all over the place, one point it was on my fan. What 'm saying is, don't be afraid show who's boss, use it for once x'D
