The title of this thread is "Tough Times" and Jordan brought up that he was going through tough times because of the baby, I guess financially. As I stated, my friend is 17 years old and is having a kid with his 16 year old girlfriend. My friend is living in a financial fantasy since he thinks he can financially take care of a child by being a bag boy at a local grocery store, until he enters a trade for welding. A baby is a lot of work, You are up all night, constantly feeding him/her. I cannot donate to Jordan because of a lack of funds, but If I had money, I would donate, as long as he is ok with CAD.

The reason I was told, was because she was depressed and she just wanted to start life earlier to get a head start, which is in my opinion insane. But my friend told me that he is going to propose to her at prom.

You should sit down with your friend and explain 11.25$/hrs isn't enough to support a child, nor a good college/university, but the welding trade is rewarding. Personally, I do not plan on having a child until late 20's or early 30's
