town shop chests

Wow I'm on a roll here, 3 suggestions in 5 min...

Anyway, i was thinking maybe add a [Town] shop chest so that, instead of town related shop chest sales going to the mayor, the money would go to the town and the mayor/co mayors would all be notified of purchaces or when the chest is out of stock so they can refill it.

 

+1 this would help small towns everywhere.

 

-1 if someone sold too much the town would fall, erefore, completly unhelpful for small towns

 

I just don't see a point when I can just do /t deposit any money I get from that.

 

then small towns could only have Buy signs, then the town could only MAKE money...

how would you know how much to deposit? you'd have to keep counting the items to find out how many you sold...

 

Hold shift and right click the shop sign for chest shop logs and it tells you what you have bought, sold, and total profits

@Muunkee what about letting other people refill the chest? is there a way to do that?

oh. i was kinda hoping for a way to let others open the chests, but that works too!
