    Buuuuut, this will all be raided away in a few months. What happens then? you can't reset everything because people would lose everything. You can't simply make it bigger because it'd be laggy (and it'd probably be more laggy than normal as is.)

    there are a whole lot of problems with this. It'll take a damn ton of time, I think. Time that can ultimately be put to better things.

    Be creative. Towny is a fine game mode as it is, it's not hard to keep yourself entertained. I made a 100 things to do if bored thread. GO view it.

    It's pretty simple - We don't need a new towny plugin.

    Do any of you guys even read the main post?

    Let me explain this for the 3rd time. It's just like the wild, you can build anywhere, mine anywhere etc. But when you create a town, it's just like regular towns. You can't be raided! Only the chunks that are claimed by your town can't be raided.

    New Towny.

    Ideas/Rough Draft.

    -Spawn
    There will either be a main Spawn hub which will also be the shop area, You're allowed 3 set home's. You cannot spawn from town to town, you have to actually walk. /fly will be taken away from Ults in this world. *Suggestion* Ultimate's will earn back /fly from either reaching a specific level in the world, or completing a main quest line (Or Ultimate's just won't be given /fly at all.) Pre-made paths will riddle the landscape, allowing players to follow the path to a certain point and branching off on their own. Player's aren't allowed to build within 500 blocks of the spawn, Once players leave this 500 blocks 'save zone' it's every man for themselves. Everything beyond this point is the wilderness (Or until they make or join a town). It's basically a Wild Wild West.

    -Spawn Shop
    Spawn shop will have all of the essentials. Food, tools, blocks, NO SPAWNERS. Spawners will have to be silk touched and found legitimately through out the world. Players can /warp Delta to bring them back to the main world spawn, they can /back if they're lucky, if not they'll have to walk or use one of their 3 set homes they've been given. ANY RANK CAN MINE SPAWNERS.

    -Wilderness
    A 500 block radius around the main Delta World spawn will be a safe zone, non pvp, and untouchable. A wall, or fence marking this border will be the players indication as to when this safe zone ends (30s-1minute grace period where you can't attack other players, vice versa). It's exactly as the regular /warp wild (To a degree). You can build anywhere, break anything, mine anywhere etc etc. Ruins will be scattered around the world, mine shafts, dungeons, treasures, secrets etc etc will also be built around the world and place in either by hand and if needed by coding (just as Wild temples n such)

    The idea of Abandoned towns, castles, ruins, mine shafts will serve as temporary bases for players until they can create a town to actually own that land. Theses areas will act as any wild temple, ruins. They can be raided, attacked, looted etc. It's up to the players to keep their items safe, and secure. Wild rules apply. Players won't be able to tpa to each other (Other than Staff for Staff related issues only).
    So if you get raided it's was most likely skill than luck. Players must of known you were there, and they couldn't of tpa'd to each other to attack you. You also don't HAVE to build in these locations, It's the wild. The idea for them was to help give players a head start.

    no no no no no no no. I like my ranks that I WORKED HARD FOR. I DO NOT WANT THINGS I WORKED HARD FOR TO BE REMOVED. Thats like selling a guy a car and stealing it back in a month; but leaving 2 tires and a car logo behind.

    I like our world as it is. DON'T MESS WITH IT.

    EDIT: Oh, silly me, A NEW world. eh. Just don't make fuzzy broke. Then we're all in this.

    MeepCraft is a Towny server, we have a diversity in mini games, We need to focus more on the towny aspect than Mini games. This is an alternative Towny server that acts as a UHC type server, Factions, Towny wars, Nations wars etc. Playing the same old towny gets boring, It's just make a town and wait a couple of weeks for it to fall. This new world will be more interesting, more dynamic, something semi unique to the server. Something never done before except for the wild.

    If we don't try then we'll never succeed at anything. We need to stop focusing on adding new mini games, fix the current issues with the ones we have, and focus on developing this new world. 90% of the plug ins required are already present in the server.
    The towny Plug-in, Shops, Wild Generation, Towny wars and Nation wars have been in the server since day one, they've just been disabled. The only challenge with this suggestion is the new server for it.

    A. This would split up the existing players even more and that's upsetting.
    B. Think about it, will a third and different Towny world really get a bunch of new players or would it just confuse them?

    Time should be spent fixing and completing things that are already in the plans and are more relevant.

    Based on what? It's an alternative world for people who like to play hardcore. There is a diversity of Mini-Games, Boomo, spleef, Halo etc. People can come and go as they please. Just like in Alpha or Beta, except in Delta your items and money won't transfer over.


    B. Think about it, will a third and different Towny world really get a bunch of new players or would it just confuse them?
    Not at first, but once new players realize that we have more than two regular towny worlds they'll be more interested in it. They'll most likely play the mini games first, find out about Towny, then play more Mini-game's to earn more meebles, or go to the wild. And after a while find out about Delta. That's what happened when I first joined. Nothing in life is always a guarantee. If everything was, then there would be no point at life in the first place.
