We need address this

Ok, let's face it. MeepCraft is falling. It's starting to get boring.

We advertise our selves as an economy server, but we barely ever work on towns.
We need to #ReviveTowns.

We need to bring more players to towny and stop focusing so much on minigames. We aren't a hub server.

We need towny wars, group chat, the ability to claim in the nether, and, unfortunately, a reset.

Now, I don't think we need to completely reset towns, that might make us lose players. So I say we give the current owners of towns the option to copy and paste their town into the new towny world, more on that in a bit. That way they can keep their towns, and we get to start anew.

Now, I believe that the two towny worlds has split us, and are killing each other. Beta's largest town has ~3x more members that the largest alpha town. #AlphaIsDed. We need one towny world.

We need to #MakeMeepCraftDankAgain.

That might help but I suggest maybe something like /warp storage for residents of the town who may not want to stay in part of the town. This warp will allow players to store items in which will not be lost if for some reason the mayor doesn't want to copy over the town. Thus, the players will retain their items. You can purchase more chests with irl money or in game Meebles. Probs like 1$ irl for 1 double chest or 100k for 1 double chest. And yeah, I think we really need this reset. here's a question too. What about towns with all the outposts in random locations? I don't think that having a direct copy paste will help there since some outposts depend on location...

 

My suggestion, kill alpha, give people ample warning for it, allow towny war in beta so theres actual interaction and something to do between the rich town owners, make nations have to pay a neutrality fee, that gets taxed from the towns, this would make it so rich people have something to do, and could possibly lose money. keep boomo, halo, and infected, scrap the rest, and make voting give you 1k per vote, as voting is probably the main part of enflation.

Ehh, i feel like thats one sided. If we kill alpha, and not beta, some people will get mad and leave. i say we just combine into one.

It's not an advantage. plus it can be bough in-game, therefore legal

 

Killing alpha would drive a lot of people away from the server, though.

you "pro-reset" people were complaining about there not being enough room. explain how merging alpha and beta would help rather than make it worse

 

I believe that besides the EULA, we are moving away from how meep used to be. We ARE becoming a hub server. We have a boring quartz circular spawn that lists out all the worlds and minigames. I joined 4 years ago, and in 2012 the spawn was a place to gather and do things. Small minigames were built into spawn instead of being built as separate worlds or servers. The terrarium was packed, but now you can go in with a full inventory of diamonds and run around and no one will ever see you. The dungeon was removed, something that has been around for Meeps existence.

Meep advertises as a towny/economy server, but players join a hub server. Meep needs to turn back into a towny server and advertise more. I think it would be great if the old spawn was used, and other old features.

Let's bring back the features and ideas that used to work for Meep, instead of trying to change them.

 

Ok, so, right now, Beta is killing alpha. Alpha is dead. Merging these two worlds would remove that border between a and b.

I do agree with the spawn thing, but we don't need to go back. We need to edit what we have now to make it better.
