Introduction: Hi I am Doug (Dbl O Sevn), I’m 32 and own a software development company and work mainly from home so I am able to get on Meep a lot and usually do if work doesn’t prohibit me. I also enjoy the beach and anything on the water. You can usually find me on TS most of the day in almost every timezone.
Why should you be Helper? ? I already help out whenever I can and constantly do things to help out the community. I feel that if I was a helper it would enable me to do so much more to help make Meep a better place. I do my best to play fair and have a lot of patience dealing with problems and can usually come up with compromises everybody can agree too, so I think I could be a definite asset to the staff team. Also I am really good at separating personal relationships from work and I am not biased against players that are my friends vs players I don’t know and treat everybody the same.
What are your weaknesses? One of my biggest weaknesses is that I trust people too much, and a lot of people take my kindness for weakness. This has haunted me for my entire life, I am literally the type of person that will go without to help out another person and not expect anything in return. In someways this is a strength but I also see it as a weakness as it does lead to me getting hurt more times than I would like to admit.
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I really don’t have many timezone limitations being I deal with clients and developers all over the world so one day I may need to be up in the day time in India and the next daytime in California. I generally have a lot of free time to devote to being a part of the team to make Meep a better place over all. I also can get silly sarcastic at times but at the end of the day I know when to be serious, and am extremely mature. Thanks for taking the time to read my app, looking forward to seeing the community’s feedback, as I think by now most of you know me. I know quite a few of you have suggested to me that I apply for staff over the last few months so I figured I would give it a shot.

Introduction: Hello! I am Angela aka phoenixangel80. I am 35 and the mother of two children. I was formerly a Loan Officer, and currently able to be a stay at home mom due to my husband's career as a Software Developer. I started on Meep when my daughter asked me to and now we all play as a family!
Why you should be Helper? I feel I possess many qualities that would make me a good Helper. First of all I can bring a high level of maturity to the team. I love to have fun and play like anyone else, but I also know when it is time to handle situations and get work done. Also, I love to help people! One of the things I miss most about working is being there to help people and solve problems. Another quality of mine is acceptance of others. After spending 9 yrs working on a military base with people from all walks of life, I developed a deep appreciation of other people and their varying cultures and beliefs.
What are your weaknesses? My worst weakness is shyness. I have been coming out of my shell and getting involved in chat and on forums and am finally ready to jump into TeamSpeak. I also tend to be very hard on myself. I am not happy until I complete the task at hand and solve any problems. I am also a very sensitive person. I pride myself on my honesty and integrity and do not always handle it well if it is called into question. Lastly, I wasn't a great loser when I started on here, but I have realized I am just not made for pvp and that is not a terrible thing!
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I am very motivated to help this server in any way possible. I am available at times when I see no other staff on and I want to be a part of making this a great gaming experience for everyone. I will continue to increase my forum activity and look forward to trying TeamSpeak. Thank you so much for taking the time to consider my application!Pmx728, Killdogx, TheAngelEclipse and 8 others like this. -

Citizen to Helper
Introduction: Hey there Meepcraft! Its ScrubSilencer, but my friends on Meep like to call me Tyson. I have played on Meepcraft since the beginning as I like to think of it. I joined Meepcraft December, 2012 and it has been a journey since then. When I'm not juggling between sports like football, tennis, racquetball, and basketball, or hobbies such as fishing and hunting, I love spending my time on Meepcraft. I plan as much as possible (which my parents aren't fond of) but that doesn't bother me. I consider a majority of the players I regularly engage with true friends, and would do anything for them. My love for Meepcraft began when I first joined and was astonished by the sincere community that welcomed me to play. Soon after joining I began selling ranks and it skyrocketed it from there. After about two years of playing I decided to take a break from Minecraft in general, as it began to interfere with my schooling and other day to day activities. Once I returned from my six month break I came back to Meep, and was disappointed with what I saw at first glance. The average daily population had shrunk tremendously since my leave, and that worried me. But soon after joining back the community welcomed me with open arms (I even got to talk with some of my old keep friends!) And I knew Meep was the place for me.
Why you should be Helper/Mod ?
There are so many reasons Id like to list here but Im going to try my best to keep it to the point. I personally believe that I am truly dedicated to this server and do my best to provide the best encounter a new comer would hope for. I always /shout answers to questions such as simple towny commands, or /sethome's.
· Experience-Though I don’t have any hands on experience using the plugin prism, I am a fast learner and Im able to catch on quick.
· Work Ethic- I will stay up all night working to get a job done for someone if I promised them I would do it. Regardless of pay, a commitment is a commitment.
· Dedication- I have stayed with Meepcraft for years and have never felt the same presence Meepcraft provides in any other server. Another example of this would be my donations, though they don't benefit me, they benefit the community, which is the whole goal of my involvement in Meepcraft.
· Involvement-My hours online are great, I always see people say things like “No staff on? Great! Bring on the language!” And think to myself how if I were I could do something about it. I am a night owl, and play at times that hardly no staff member plays at (Until the Australians wake up of course)
· Performance- I always try to perform to the best of my abilities, I try to live by my motto of either do it right or don't do it at all.
· Justification-I feel like if you have encountered me in game (Though with the amount of messages I receive I'm unable to respond to everyone) you will know that I truly am a down to earth person who will help you if called upon the task
Weaknesses: The only major weakness I have is my TeamSpeak issue. A few months ago my computer decided to quit on me leaving me with only my school computer to play Meepcraft on. Though I am able to have Skype on my phone, TeamSpeak is another story. It is blocked from being downloaded on my computer, though I have talked to the tech department at my school and explained my reasoning, they haven't allowed me permission. Though I look for ways to get involved in Meepcraft’s Team Speak community, I haven't found a way yet. However, I am able to Skype at nearly every hour and love talking to strangers! Another weakness I have, is that I sometimes get a bit to emotional when talking about important issues Meepcraft is experiencing, and will bicker amongst the community as to why I believe my reasoning is correct. But I am positive as staff I will have the precise amount of professionalism needed to carry out the duties without letting this interfere.
Conclusion:Overall I feel like I'm a legitimate honest person, who has played Meepcraft for ages. I know the server as well as anyone, as I am a player myself I know the struggles some players go through which would aid me in assisting them. I hope that you aren't basing your votes off of my donations or ranks, as I want an unbiased ballet. With all this being said, Im looking forward to reading all of your positive and negative feedback as both will better me throughout my Meep journey. Thank you for taking the time to read through my whole application though it may be a bit lengthy, I sincerely appreciate it.Last edited: Jan 12, 2015Chaase5, jmelara, Videogames321 and 8 others like this. -

Introduction:
Hello! I am Bob4444444.
I participate in many activities outside of the videogame world.
I have played piano for many years, and I still play the piano today. I play various sports; such as golf, basketball, etc. I am involved in a robotics league (FLL) and we have made it to state finals two years in a row, which has been a great accomplishment for the tean.
School has started once again, and I will have a lot of work to do. I strive for High Honors as an excelled student in Advanced Math and Advanced English/Literature. Academics is my primary focus, but I often play on MeepCraft.
I will maintain my activity as much as possible.
I have been playing Meepcraft since August 19th, 2013 and I have grown to love the server and the community. It has been such a great time for me! I am an ex-moderator here, so I have experience with being a staff member.
I am also a Co-Mayor in GingerManOWNS' town in Alpha (Butterland). In the time I have been playing Meepcraft, I have made a lot of friends, and I have done so many unforgettable things here, and I have enjoyed it all greatly. I am here, once again, applying for staff. I hope to get accepted yet again, and get the chance to finally rejoin the staff team.
Why you should be Helper?
Experience- I was staff here for about 2 and a half months before. In that time, I learned a lot on how to be staff. I understand most things about Hawkeye, and all the other commands staff use to perform their job. That is surely a benefit to being staff here. I also know a lot about how staff runs, and what to do with reports and all the other things you do as staff. I have done about every type of ban, so I know what to do in most situations. I believe with all my knowledge of how staff works and how to do staff work and such, it will greatly benefit.
I also have been co-mayor in GingerManOWNS' town (Butterland) for a long time. I have been a great leader in the town. I have done the work that I am supposed to; such as inviting people to the town, clearing plots, donating lots of money, and providing my time to just keep the town running alive and successfully. I do a lot of work for town, and I do not abuse my powers. I use them to do work in the town, but not for my own purposes.
In real life, I have many skills, such as leadership and intellegence. I try to use these skills to the best of my abilities being staff. My real life skills affect my ingame attitude sometimes, which really helps me when I need it. In real life, I work and I get things done. That is what I did as staff before, and I plan to do that again.
Work Ethic- I have a very strong work ethic/performance. Being a helper last time, I did more modreqs then what was expected of me, and I always tried to do that (I did about 1000 modreqs before I was demoted last time). I did as many reports/modreqs as I could, and I did them all to the best of my abilities. Whenever I start something, I finish it, and that is what I plan to do as staff. I always tried to perform as greatly as I could, and I barely ever slacked off. I did about 16 xray bans, and many other bans; such as scamming, theft, grief, etc. I did a great amount of work last time and I plan to do the same or greater if accepted this time.
Dedication- I have a big dedication to Meepcraft. I enjoy everything about it; including the forums, ingame, Teamspeak, and the entire community in general. I try to make time for Meepcraft everyday. I honestly am commited to Meepcraft, and I always try to go on all three aspects of the server as much as I can. I have been dedicated to Meepcraft for a long time now, and my dedication here just keeps on growing and growing everyday.
Involvement- I am very involved in the server and in the community. Whenever I go ingame, I am talking to people most of the time, and it really builds up my bond with the community. I also like assisting people in shout/global when they are having troubles and ask for help. Now for Teamspeak. Whenever I go on Teamspeak, I mostly always talk, unless I have people around me. Other than that, I love actually talking to people on Teamspeak. Now, for my favorite part; the forums. The forums is my favorite place to get involved with the community. There's always so much action going on, so much activity, and it's a great way to get involved here. I always like talking to people on forums, and I really feel involved with the rest of the server while on forums and doing posts and such.
Weaknesses:
Since my demotion, I have worked on my weaknesses greatly. I understand why I was demoted, and I have tried to fix them. I have tried to overcome them, and I have succeeded so far and hope to fix them even more than I already have. Here are a few of my weaknesses and how I have been resolving/resolved them.
Immaturity- This is my main weakness, and it always gets to me. Sometimes, I can get very immature. It happens on forums, ingame, and mostly Teamspeak. I try to be funny, but every once in a while I may go out of hand. However, I have been being more controlled and thinking about what I say before I say it. But, I always get serious when needed. I never goof off and act immature when the job needs to he done, nor do I plan to. This weakness has become more controlled after the last few months, but still, I can't say I'm invulnerable to it.
Attitude/Self Control- Sometimes, it's hard for me to control my attitude. Sometimes I will say not so nice things, and then realize what I have said after. I have worked on being as nice to everybody as I possibly can, even some people who are more than disrespectful to me. Overall, I don't see this as a major issue, but it may affect me once a while, just like last time.
Also, sometimes it's hard for me to control what I say. Most of the time never ingame, but on Teamspeak, things slip out of me. I have worked on controlling myself on Teamspeak as much as possible and I have been more self-controlled on Teamspeak now.
Another this is the forums. On forums sometimes I get a little bit out of hand. I say some rude things and I later understand what I said was not smart or beneficial for me. I have tried to control myself on forums more, and I try to think before I post and see if I am saying my point without coming out rude.
My Demotion:
Most of my demotion was about what I did as a mod, so I will try to explain it in the best sense that is related to helper. I said stuff on Teamspeak that was extremely immature and definitely not the attitude of a staff member. I greatly regret doing that, and I have paid more attention to controlling myself on Teamspeak.
I also did unneeded warning points, and my stupidity did lead to getting people banned on forums. I am greatly sorry for that; I did not fully understand how warning points worked. I plan to be more careful with warning points if I get staff again.
The rest was more stuff I did as mod, but I might as well explain it. When I became mod, I completely changed in the wrong direction. I started doing unnecessary things, and it didn't end well. I greatly regret changing, and I won't let staff get to my head again like that.
The rest of my demotion I would like to keep confidential. But, if staff are interested, I will explain more about my demotion privately if accepted for interview.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, I'm ready to rejoin the Meepcraft Staff Team. I have worked on my weaknesses and feel I have mostly overcome them. It's been a month now, and now that I have worked on the problems I had in the past, I hope that now I can once again join the staff team!

Position Changes: Citizen -> Helper
Intro:
After taking up people's advice on my last application (Thanks HAB, nhjed, etc...) I decided I need to be consistently active and after about 3 weeks, here I am! Anyways,
Hello MeepCraft! My name is Imad, but to most of you I am known as JumboAce. I was introduced to MeepCraft by my sister JumboGem on June 28th, 2012 and have had a blast ever since. I enjoy many things other than just MineCraft; such as, Football ("Soccer"), Basketball, hanging out with friends, and working. I currently have a part-time job in a convenience store and I am part Algerian and really enjoyed watching Algeria play in the World Cup. I have an older brother and a twin sister.
Why:
Well, there are many reasons as to why I deserve the position, and here they are.
Activity:
I've decided to break this up into the two most important aspects of the server- Forum activity/In-game activity- and Experience/What would I do?
Forum activity:
I've been registered on the forums since July 16th 2012. I have gone through all of MeepCraft's forum changes and have been very active on all. When browsing through the forums, I usually look around: Ban Appeals, Discussion, Unofficial Guides, Q&A and Staff Recruitment. These are all critical sections for a Helper to look through. I normally look through “Ban Appeals” because when I was a Moderator, whether it was your ban or not, you still had the right to look at what the banned player has to say, check if they followed the format, and request the staff member who issued the punishment to look at the appeal, and provide proof, reasons why the ban was issued, and any additional information. Discussion is a way for me to get involved in the community and just socialize and get to know MeepCraft's citizens. It is a great opportunity to get involved with the rest of the server and to see what’s going on. I look at Staff Recruitment because the feedback players give really lets me improve my overall character. Also, I write feedback to other players, regardless if they're my friend or someone I've never heard of, my feedback is not biased so neither will my bans be. Now, for the last one, I look at Unofficial Guides because it's a good way to assist the community. I wrote a guide on the old forums about all the staff commands, it was pinned and liked. I try to be the most active I can be when not in-game. So all in all, I believe I have good experience and fairly good activity on the forums.
In game activity:
I believe I am active in-game as well. Now, before anyone says I haven't seen you before, being in Algeria, I have a unique time zone therefore when I'm online there's a very small amount of players online. I am always online looking for an opportunity to help others, but I find a way to balance playing and enjoying my time whilst completing my duties as a staff member. I am always entertained In Game, and therefore, I am online quite frequently and love to participate in /shout conversations. Additionally, if a player asks a question in shout, I almost always answer them in /msg as it's easier to see and more convenient to have a conversation in. The staff team needs to have active staff to be able to satisfy the players. I believe a good staff team means good player morale
Experience:
This is a key section for me. I have been playing on MeepCraft for a little over 2 years only being banned once and that was on July 16th 2012 for breaking 8 cobble blocks. Additionally, I've been staff twice, being OPed multiple times and being trusted with the SuperMod rank for a period of time. My first time being staff was MeepCraft’s golden ages. At that time we averaged 900+ players and I was able to handle the pressure, and therefore did a fantastic job and got promoted in a week and a half. I know all the towny commands, and the majority of the staff commands, but obviously with the new "Hawkeye logs" I'm going to need some brushing up. When I was a Moderator, I completed over 1,000 modreqs in a month and a week, and I had the most at the time. I completely understand Helper is a helping rank and the main concept of the rank is to help and complete modreqs, and I am more than excited to do that. I’m an avid PvPer and was an ex-Helper on a factions server averaging 400+ players. I can identify a hacker, but not jump to conclusions and apply a ban without sufficient proof.
What would you do?
I will issue the correct punishments, not being too harsh or too lean. I will ask my fellow peers for help. I'm not afraid to ask for help if I'm in a sticky situation as my peers may have a good solution or know how to solve the problem. After issuing the punishment I will follow up on the appeal. I never issue a ban or temp ban or even a kick without some form of proof. I will definitely be sure to post my proof on said appeal.
Work Ethic:
Although I had completed a large quantity of modreqs, I like to think quality over quantity. If you’re not thoroughly investing time in assisting someone with their modreq, then you’re not doing it right. I never /d ed a modreq without asking the player if they’re satisfied and if I can done it. Also, if you don’t know how to answer the modreq, certainly don’t make up an answer off the top of your head. Unclaim it and request a different staff member’s help as they may know the answer. In conclusion, whilst doing any modreqs think quality over quantity. At the end of the day, the player is the one that needs to be satisfied, not your ego.
Dedication:
I would consider myself a dedicated member of the MeepCraft community. I’ve been playing on here for over 2 years only taking a 3 month break, coming back, and enjoying playing again. I’ve stuck with the server through thick and thin. A prime example being MeepNetworks, and I contributed as much as I was able to during that era.
Weaknesses:
Maturity: My immaturity is a weakness. I say a lot of unprofessional things and while I think it is funny, it is really not. In order to maintain maturity, before I post something I always think “Will this warrant a punishment?” If yes, don’t post it, if no, go ahead. As a staff member you’re a role model to the players, and it comforts them to know good, mature people are running the server, so I always keep that in mind. My age is not an excuse for my maturity, as I have common sense so I will use it.
Internet: Currently, this is my biggest weakness. My internet is bad. I cannot watch videos, I get almost 200 ms to MeepCraft and get lag a lot, but the forums are perfectly fine. Additionally, when I log on or warp, it doesn't register anything another player or myself does and everything is frozen, so it basically just lags for like 5 minutes. To fix this, I find a good time to log on, and that is in the morning. In the morning my internet is perfectly fine and allows me to play smoothly. By finding the right time to play, I experience no lag.
TeamSpeak: My TeamSpeak activity is not a problem, but my participation in conversations is. I’m a shy person, therefore I rarely talk and only do when someone is talking directly to me. However, as a staff member it is my duty to answer any questions asked in Team Speak and discuss any conflicts. I’m improving on this by getting more involved and starting up conversations about topics I’m comfortable discussing.
Strengths:
Experience: As I've stated above, being a staff member twice before, I know the ropes but obviously need some brushing up on things such as Hawkeye.
Trust: On MeepNetworks I was OPed for the majority of my time playing. I would help Miguel build shops, issue refunds, etc… I do admit however spawning in a CruetlyGaming head and doing some "things" with it, because I hated him, but currently I respect all of the higher ups and I'm not planning on doing that ever again. Adding on, I wasn't just OPed during MeepNetworks. I was also OPed during “Golden MeepCraft” a few times to help setup drop parties.
Time zone: If accepted, I will most likely be the only staff member with my time zone. You may be thinking: If your internet is so bad, why are you applying? Well, I want to take advantage of my time zone while I'm in Algeria. There is little to no staff members when I am online, and to prove my point even more, this is what I normally see on all sections of the server.
Plus, there is always less than 100 players online when I log on in the morning. If accepted, I will most likely be the only staff member with my time zone. But my time zone is temporary, because when I return to the U.S in a month or so, my time zone would alter to EST.
Conclusion:
I have really enjoyed my time on MeepCraft and I'm hoping to experience the thrill of being a staff member for the third time. It's a whole new playing field and really enjoy it. It's a great way to contribute to the community and get more involved by helping out. I plan on making the players satisfied as I have before, and complete many modreqs.

Intro:
Hello Meepcraft players, and staff. AndrewDemonX here applying for Mod. I have been a Helper on Meepcraft for around 2 months, and I've loved every minute of it. The things I've learned, and the people I've met have made me happier than you can imagine. When I first became a Helper, I said to myself "Okay, Andrew. You're a Helper. Now let's show the community how devoted you are to this position. No going half way and turning around!" Being a Helper has showed me how much work the staff does behind the scenes, and I am happy to be part of a caring team. This community has given as much back to me as I have given to it. I love working with everyone on the server, and I want to help more. Meepcraft has given me endless hours of enjoyment, and for this I want to help in any and every way I can. I don't feel I could ever really repay this community for the awesome times it's given me, but I'm sure gonna try, and that's why I'm here today.
Activity:
I'm usually on Meepcraft for 8+ hours a day. When I'm working and can't play Meepcraft, I'm always logged into the forum. Posting when I'm needed, or looking over applications. When on the server, I usually complete about 6 mod requests a day. When a player asks for my help, and I'm busy, however, I'll either direct them to another mod, or ask them to create a mod request of their own. On the off chance I do have a problem with a mod request, I'll ask another Helper or Moderator for assistance. I try to be as active as I can be when I'm on the server or forums. I also seem to be quite busy with real life work and events, so I can't always attend to things that demand it.
Modreq's
I try to complete as many mod requests as I can. As I said before, on average I'll complete about 6 a day. I believe I work hard with mod requests. If it's something new, or something I've heard 1000 times, I'll still answer it. If I don't know specific information relating to the question, I'm very likely to ask another staff member. However, if it's a question I don't know, I'll usually not claim it. I'll leave those for people who know how to answer. I want to complete as many as I can a day, but I also don't like to rush through them.
Work ethic
I always try to keep on top of tasks that need to be done. I don't like quitting in the middle of something. I like doing things for the purpose of helping. It's the whole reason I became staff, because I wanted to help. To give back to the community. I will always try as hard as I can do something good. Hard work might as well be my middle name. My real job taught me one thing; tedium is my strong suit. I'll occasionally take on tasks that others deny. If I can be helpful in any way, shape, or form, you better believe I'll work hard on it.
Efficiency
I believe I do my job well. I work as hard as I can, even when juggling work, real life matters, and Meepcraft. All these things are important to me. So I will do them, and do them well. I'm on 8+ hours a day, and always on the forums if I need to help with something. I enjoy doing my job on Meepcraft, and so I work as hard as I can. I never tire of Meepcraft, or the people in it. I'm always happy to lend a helping hand to those in need. I never go half way. I will complete a job given to me, no matter how long it takes.
The extra mile
I try to do as much as I can to help. Some people work when they have something to gain. I work because it makes me feel good. Knowing that I helped out someone in need, even with a minor issue is enough to motivate me. I will always love helping people in this community, and I will always do my best to provide my assistance.
New commands:
Commands generally aren't a big problem for me. Once given to me, if it's something I didn't know, I'll type it with the rest of the commands given, and print out the sheet. I'll always have this next to me at my desk in case I need it. After 2-3 times using a single command, however, I'll get it down and not need it on the sheet of paper.
Weaknesses:
I can be forgetful at times, and I can overlook a very small detail. But when it comes to work, I try to be as sharp as I can, and keep my mind on task. I am also kind of a quiet person, and communication is not always solid, but I try hard to work at it. During my day job, I am fairly open to people though. So when I am working, whether that be my job, or helping folks on Meepcraft, I am not as quiet as I usually am.
Conclusion:
I believe I am ready for mod, I have worked really hard the last 2 months on Meepcraft. Before I even started my app for Mod, I asked my Team leader what I needed to work on before I apply for mod after i got that info from him I worked on what was needed. Shain, I would like to say thank you for the info that helped me get ready for Mod.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my app. Any feedback you have would be greatly appreciated.

+1. I have not seen an instance with your interaction that has made me stop to pause. You were continually within the top 4 of modreqs done. I really don't care if you say lololol or omg, as long as you can help new players and answer their questions, which is the job of helper, and which you can do.

I have been friends with BooBear on Meepcraft for as long as I can remember. If you remember me from back then, think longer. I can count on my hand the number of people I would bother logging into the forums to write a +1 for, however I feel a tiny bit more is deserved….
I outlined a few key metrics that are typically indicative of a “great” team member. Although this is buried well into this application I do hope some of the higher staff read this and understand how important these qualities are to staff, current and future.
1. Honest and Straightforward.
+1 I cannot think of very many people I have ever met on this server who are as qualified in this aspect, being part of the staff requires trust as the members are privy to sensitive information about other players and the server itself. Mistakes have been made in the past in this regard with other staff members, the server and its players have paid the price dearly for these errors.
2. Shares the Load.
+1 It is not just about helping new players and banning the occasional aberrant individual, a great deal of importance should also be placed on how one improves the staff team as a whole, after all the team is only as strong as its weakest link.
Being part of the team requires one to actually like the team they are on, be liked by the team they work on, as well as possess a willingness to “work” with and around the other team members, regardless of their own personal convictions, biases, and beliefs. BooBear does this casually to all players many times at her own detriment, as in the past being a staff member only strengthens this resolve.
3. Reliable.
+1 She IS someone people can count on. I can say with certainty that BooBear sacrifices more of herself to this server and it’s players than almost anyone else I have seen thus far, so much so that it pains me to remember that prior staff have abused this quality in the past. Luckily the current team seems to be more caring and loving than years past, after all that is one of the reasons I am playing currently.
4. Fair.
+1 When dealing with players I can’t really imagine to many people willing to go out of their way to give them the benefit of the doubt or “more chances”. BooBear relentlessly tries to see the best in everyone and to treat them as such. I did have to round up because she does sell herself short when it comes to giving herself credit for her merits and there are plenty, but as with all humbly intelligent individuals that is a battle to be waged within. Being part of such a supportive and tight-knit team makes me think there are plenty who will shine the light on these when needed.
5. Complements Others’ Skills.
+1 If any of you don’t know BooBear’s skillset or her strengths, you are either new to the server or have a single brain cell. For many people life seems as though it is a never ending uphill battle that will never end, and if we are alone we often decide that walking uphill is a waste of time, however once we discover that someone is walking with us, it merely seems like a trip. BooBear does this for so many people by on the server even for those whom others deem unfit for such compassion. Sadly her weak spot is her commitment, it is too great.
6. Good Communication Skills.
+1 This is a key part to being staff, it is not about wanting to be staff, or just wanting to help, it is about being ABLE to function well with the other staff. From my ballpark count ~100% of staff enjoy this individual on a daily basis and look forward to interacting with her. This did not come easily, years of interacting tactfully with nearly every person in chat and while previously on staff resulted in this quality. This one of the most important things when building a strong team and you would be fools to let this person sit out.
7. Positive Attitude.
+1 Encouragement is paramount to helping others through their strife, many of you on here have undoubtably been helped or encouraged by BooBear in one way or another, whether you’re a young kid with issues at home, or just someone with a desperate need for distraction. In nearly ever instance BooBear has forfeited her own time and mental well-being to lift others up. Need more proof? Just read every post written before this.
TOTAL:
+7

On the hand of activity, I did not plan to apply for staff, and not be active in all areas of the game. I was more making the point I do not want to take the traditional route of a player, but more as a pure representative of the server. For example, my projects ingame will tend to try to benefit the server. Currently I am working on a town that serves only to help brand new players find their footing, and feel a part of the community because I think that is the key to player retention, so in essence a "staff town".
That being said, I do not think any unfair standard or precedent is being set. The main reason being my experience is a factor most people who apply will not have. That is working my way from helper to admin in MeepNetworks, being admin here and subsequently working my way from helper back to higher staff each time I've applied. I've been able to do this because of the core beliefs I have on the role of staff. Being respectful to the player, mindful to the business or the server, being a good representative all around of this server, and putting in good effort to achieve any goals one might have. If somebody applies that would be a great benefit to the server, I believe normal considerations should not always be a priority, because at the end of the day this should not be an "everyone gets a turn" position, but a position which serves to aid the server, and keep it a stable and successful project.KyloMeep, cooey, CluelessKlutz and 7 others like this. -
I like that you don't lie to me or anyone else

I like that The last of us , is the greatest game and that you play it
You've made a lot of improvement, especially social wise, I'd love to see you on the team, you can help @Jess_4Ds keep me in check,
And you can help me slap @Klitch all the time.
