Introduction:
Hello, Meep. You can call me Monkey or Alex! I've been playing on Meepcraft for a year on the 29 this month, and I can say my time here has been great, from being a citizen, to a helper, to a citizen again. Right now, I own the wonderful town of Monkwood in beta, with nearly 100 residents, and that's always fun. I started getting more into Meepcraft when AndrewRobins gave me free VIP as a surprise, and since then I've progressed, and I just got supreme. It's been a really wild ride, but I'll stay here for as long as I can, through both good times and bad.
I've just started dance classes back up, and this time around I am teaching with a friend! I have about 18 2nd-6th graders in my class, which are quite a handful, especially when you need to cram a lot of information into their heads in 45 minutes. My friends and I manage, and it takes a lot of patience and practice to teach the class. I've also started going back to Pikiti, a Filipino martial art, class, and I'm learning to swing a sword and some knives around, which, of course, if fun. It takes precision, control, and work, but who doesn't like breaking things?
Why should you be a helper?
Throughout my time on Meepcraft, I've always looked up to the staff, and one of my things was to be on the team. And, as a lot of you probably know, I was staff at one point, several months ago, and I know that I made a whole lot of mistakes, which I'm learning to own up to and am working on. I do not curse nearly as much as I used to, especially on places like Teamspeak where it is more of an issue, and I am doing my best to be more mature, in-game and out of game.
As for work as a helper, I've done the job before, and while a few things I may need to refresh or updat, I know the commands and the job well enough for it not to be any of a problem. I remember how to use HawkEye and how to do modreqs just fine. For the future, I know better and am more experienced, as I've had more time to think about it. I'll take the extra mile, and make sure everyone gets what they needs, and put quality over quantity, something I really struggled with when I was staff before.
I'm usually very easily able to be contacted, whether in-game or not. I leave both my skype and forums open all day, and check them often as I can, and reply whenever I get a chance. Also, when school starts, I will still be able to check these because I am homeschooled, and while I can't get in-game in the morning, I can still participate on Teamspeak (sometimes), skype, and forums. I'm usually able to get online as well if I'm really needed, however I can nearly always get online by 1:30 PM CST. I know skype is not part of the job, but it is useful if someone needs me.
Activity-wise, I am up on all 3 aspects. I'm on TS at least every other day, I'm on the forums constantly, and I play Meep and talk in shout when I can.
Helping- Modreqs were my favorite part of being a helper. Newbies are fun! One time I spent an hour helping this one person who didn't even know what a warp was, showing him about the server, educating him on the rules, and setting him up as a VIP in my town. I enjoy helping people, from simple questions to handling thefts and scams.
I am confident in my abilities to be a staff member. I have worked on the key reasons for my demotion – Being impulsive, argumentative, immature, and lazy. I think that, with how my real life is going right now, and my Meep life, I've become a bit more responsible over the past month. I'm owning up to my mistakes, and I will fix them.
Weaknesses:
Maturity. Everyone has moments where it's simply not there, and I am, have been, and will continue to work on this issue. Staff are allowed to have fun, but still need to maintain a certain level of maturity.
Performance / work ethic. Sometimes, especially on days where I'm pretty tired, I will slack a bit on my work, but this is not to much of an issue, as I'm getting better on keeping up with a semi-regular sleep schedule.
Being Impulsive: I sometimes do make decisions too quickly, causing mistakes, and getting myself into trouble. Again I have worked on this, although it does still happen, and I've resolved that if I get accepted, I'll ask someone if I do need help or a second opinion, rather than just saying yes or no.
Going with the base: sometimes, If I have a contrast opinion of a higher-up stuff member's, I will feel tempted to follow along my usual path, because that's what seems normal for me. Like when I was helper before, I made a few wrong bans for hacking, when I was supposed to give the evidence to an s-mod before banning. To fix this, I can make sure I study the rules and ban lengths and all of the staff updates, making sure I stay in line and follow the rules that helpers have. This rule also applies to being biased – for instance, if I want to temp-ban someone when only a kick would suffice.
Conclusion: I was desperate for staff a month ago. I've used this month, and I have improved, and, if accepted, I firmly believe that I can do well again as a staff member. Leave constructive criticism, good or bad, feel free to ask questions, and I shall see you all around on Meep, stay awesome, and keep on having fun!

Introduction: Hello. My name is Matt, some know me as Iatemyfriends, Iate, and Iamf. I’m a 14 year old male, with a great and happy life. I enjoy Hockey, Soccer, Volleyball, and tennis. I can definitely tie this in with my work as a staff member, because all these sports can be played as a team, and need eachother to support. Staff Is just like a team and we must work together to complete our jobs efficiently. Tennis, is not always a team sport, and it's an independant sport, I can also tie this in with staff work because half the time you need to do it on your own and pull your own weight. I dedicate lots of my time to the server I know and love, Meepcraft. I have a lot of bans, but were all in the past, I feel that we should forgive and forget the mistakes I made and hear me out. I joined this server late 2012 and I have loved it since. I was not the maturest of people, but I’m changing my ways. Now, enough about me. Lets get down to the juicy stuff.
Why you should be Helper/Mod ?
· Experience I have some great experience on meep from being a long time player. I know most of the commands but may need help with some. I enjoy to learn new things, so my capabilities are more endless than they were before I learnt someting. I have been a staff on different server so I know basic moderating commands.
· Work Ethic I’m not going to lie. I don’t know how good my work ethic is. I like to get my work done, but sometimes I go through it extensively and take some time. I can be a fast worker but I usually like to get the job done, even if that means being slow. I always like to remember that doesn’t matter how fast you finish your test, it matters how efficiently you finished it.
· Dedication I feel that I’m a very dedicated player. I have been here since 2012, and I know how staff do their job. I play daily and I feel like I want to step up my dedication to the next level by becoming a staff and helping out the new players and helping people enjoy their time. And continue to thrive as a person, even after I leave.
· Involvement I’m an Involved player. I stay active on the forums and TS. Everytime I log on too meep I like to try to hop on and skype someone, but like to go onto ts too. I usually check the forums once every hour to stay up to par on forums activity. I enjoy spending my time here as well. I have dedicated almost 2 full years here, and I plan to go longer.
· Performance I like to keep my performance not up to par, but above and beyond my expectations no matter the expectations. I know I will do my job efficiently, maybe slow, but do it to my full potential so I don’t leave anyone I’m helping still in question of what they needed help with in the first place.
· Improvements This is a special department, just for me. I as a person have been improving, and will keep improving as a person. I know that my maturity has not been anywhere near substantial for all of you members on meep. I will improve by noticing my mistakes, noticing where I need to fix myself and my behavior and most of all, I will have you guys to help me out too!
Weaknesses:
Maturity: Maturity is an issue for me. I have been definitely working on this issue, as it may make life hard for me. Maturity is going to take me places in life so I am working on this problem fast, and efficiently.
Ban history: My ban history is quite extensive. I would like to address that PvP causes most of my outbursts that cause me to get banned. This is why I’m stopping it all together. Another thing, my ban history is quite huge, but I can say that most of my bans are from 8 months-ish back.
Reputation: My reputation is not great. The community sees me as a person who doesn’t stop PvPing and is incredibly rude. I’m trying to solve these problems, by mending the broken bars, and refining them. As I work on my rep, I will become a more suitable person for staff as my reputation as a player will improve.
Conclusion: I hope you enjoyed my application. I am definitely working on all of my weaknesses, and want to make them plusses for the future. Please, post comments at your own will and make sure they are nice and constructive! Thank you.Thee Boss, kevman967, Owen Powell and 9 others like this. -

Position Changes: (Helper to Mod)
Introduction:
Greetings, I would like to say that it has been a pleasure working again as a helper on Meep. After finishing my sophomore year in high school, I felt like it was time to take on another staffing position. After I resigned from SuperMod, I’ve learned that there is always time for MeepCraft even though school may have started again. I’ve been a Helper for 2 weeks now, and I feel comfortable enough to fill in a Mod application.
Why you should be Helper/Mod ?
- Improvement
- Public relations/Dealing with issues
- Investigative/moderative qualities
- Professionalism
- Overall
Weaknesses:
- Teamspeak availability
- Grudges
Conclusion:
Although my application may seem a bit “rushed” because many other applicants have waited more than 2 weeks, I believe my combined prior knowledge and 2 weeks of working as a helper again is enough to thoroughly uphold the Mod position here on Meep. I’m ready any time to begin a higher staffing position. I’ve handled many modreqs which involved bans, and because Helpers don’t have offline ban, I’ve needed help to thoroughly complete these required punishments. If I get promoted to Mod, it will make my staffing position easier and I could further expand my skills to moderate and catch rule breakers.
Thank you for this wonderful time and opportunity.Videogames321, FluffbearRCT, Empoleon_master and 9 others like this. -

When I joined the server just under a year ago, Meepcraft was celebrating its one year anniversary. I had previous experience as both a moderator and admin elsewhere, and had tried my hand at running a server, so I was somewhat familiar with the difficulties that staff face when trying to create a fun, clean environment for the players. I was immediately impressed by the Meepcraft staff and environment. At the time, the server catered regularly to a very large number of players, but still maintained a small-community feeling. The staff were dedicated, helpful, and properly empowered to assist the players in almost any way necessary.
I joined Jetsurf’s Grandeur community and mostly kept to myself. Jetsurf and his assistant (jackl01) were somewhat inactive at the time, but the town of Grandeur was beautiful. I wanted to attract residents to the town, so I began to wage a renovation campaign on my own: I would claim an abandoned plot, clear away any debris, and re-sell it in an effort to attract new neighbors. I upgraded to Elite so that I could own spawners and began building my first spawner-based grinder. Meepcraft was the first server I found which allowed spawner mining, and I still think that it adds a dimension to the game that is lacking on many other servers.
After a while, I became active on the forums, answering questions and learning about the community and server rules. When the website started to become unstable during the time of MeepNetworks, I created a shadow site to allow players to stay in touch while the issues were worked out. I eventually drifted away from the server during the MN heyday, and came back when I heard that the old structure was being restored. I am not interested in the “Old Meep vs. New Meep” debate because I don’t think it helps to improve the server today. This is the new reality, and I am very interested in being a helpful member of the current community while helping to improve in the server for the future.
Why you should be Helper? I believe that one of the best ways to improve the server community is to make new players feel welcome, and one of the best ways I know to do that is to answer their questions and to help them fit in. To that end, I do my best to be knowledgeable of the the server rules, policies, and changes and to help new players understand that information.
The current staff is very active and often quick to help. However, there are still a few gaps in coverage that I would like to help fill. I know it is frustrating to a new player to see their modreq go unanswered for several minutes; since I am online a lot, I can help to completed the modreqs in a timely manner when other staff members are not available.
To be honest, I am happy with my current situation as a regular player, occasionally answering questions in /shout. However, I recognize that the staff has a large workload, and I am willing to do my part to help as they work to make this server a fun place to play. I think that this is a way that I can give back to the server that has provided a large amount of enjoyment to me.
Weaknesses: I was able to identify a couple of weaknesses (I’m sure there are more: let me know below!)
First, I’m old. Like, really old. 34 even. While there are certain advantages that come with age, one downside is relatability. The average age on the server is far younger than mine, so I have to work to fit in. I don’t want to see the server modeled after the image of “adults” at the expense of fun for everyone else, but sometimes personal preference gets in the way. I will have to work hard to understand and meet the needs of the community, rather than attempting to mold the community to meet my standards.
Second, I have a family and full-time job which take precedence over play time. While my in-game time has been sufficient in the past, that can change on a day-to-day basis as real-life demands change.
Conclusion: If you've made it this far, I applaud your determination. I have enjoyed playing with most of you, and will look forward to continuing to help in the future regardless of my rank.2legacybball, Woodchip123456, BooBear1227 and 9 others like this. -

being loved does not make someone a staff member, drive, attitude, content and actions do in my opinion.
.
I will be honest with you, when I first saw this application I instantly thought "NO WAY" and that was before reading even one line. The "NO WAY" was based on /shout and forum activity prior to the break you just returned from.
.
After reading the application, and putting the stories I have heard of The Great Kaz...... I figured there was a side to you that maybe because of the issues when this server first started on 07/12/13 followed by your recent time away from game, that I have not had the chance to meet.

The application was very weak. The “why” & “weakness” section I wish had more in them, I can help by adding “applications” to the weakness section.

Based on the information I know from in game, forums etc. & the time staff and players have had with you! I will base my decision not on the application alone.

@Klitcher - I believe that you can definitely have your edge moments, but you do a good job of staying out of arguments now and you don't show any anger in your posts when you do get provoked. You bought me three ranks with Meebles that you earned yourself (with a little help from @SpiderAttitude, I believe), and you have been the only person welcoming new players to the server. The application was somewhat predictable, but I don't think that really matters, and I like your attitude recently. Yes Ninja was staff on my server, which I decided to close as of the 28th. As far as her dedication to meep, I can't believe any of you even question that. Even as staff on my server she still played on meep and still bought people ranks, that is dedication. She never quit meep.

Hey agnd, I'm glad to see you've applied for the helper position.
To begin, I wanted to address your in game behavior. From what I can tell, you're very helpful to those who have questions in game as I do occasionally see you answering questions and concerns in global. I've also seen that you do carry yourself in quite a mature manner, especially for your age, which I think just on it's own is commendable. Overall I think you do a great job of being active in game and helping out those who need it.
When it comes to forums, I definitely think this is somewhere you could improve. Being an active member in game, while important, is not the only place where I believe activity is necessary. A lot that goes on with staff is dealt with on forums, so actively being apart of the forums community is important. I have however seen that your forums activity has improved recently, so keep it up.
Now to talk about how you spoke about your app in game, I personally find absolutely no issue with it, as it's not like you were specifically advertising people to come +1 it. I'm not sure who came up with the stigma that it looks bad to talk about it in game, but I heavily disagree with that idea. I personally believe players should be allowed to discuss applications in game as long as it's done in a polite and respectful matter. Anyways, I'm not going to let that influence my decision on how I believe you'll perform as a staff member.
To speak to the app, I think it was very well written. I can clearly see you put in a lot of time and effort into writing this and you should be very proud of the way it turned out.
