I haven't hated you, except since you started calling the server I play on, my friends and basically my family, dead, or when you falsely have been calling me two faced.

Why would you insult somebody on an application, that you know you have to work with that person, and you want to be a positive role model and staff member?
Your application itself is asking for criticism and votes - I have given you mine. I have not hurt you, nor done anything to you. I am trying to be as unbiased as possible, with the exception of listing some personal experience.

Introduction: Hello, My name is Dalton I am 18. I work at a grocery store. In high school, I played sports such as soccer, track, cross country, basketball, bowling. my favorite sport was soccer. I joined the Army National Guard right out of high school. Since I got back from basic I have been working and playing lots of games.

Why should you be Helper? I feel like I should become a helper because I am very active with the community. Since I've joined I have learned a lot about Meep. I am active in /g and I try to help anyone to the best of my ability. When it comes to new players I reach out to them if they need help. There are often times when I am online when there is no staff online and I feel that it could benefit others if they need help during those times. I like to think of myself as an extrovert, especially when it comes to Meep. I like to make new friends and talk to new people. For me, it is very easy to reach out and talk to others. I like finding solutions to problems and I feel I am a great problem solver. Throughout the time I've been on Meep, I've gotten to know a lot of people and so much about the server. I am a very reliable person, I will give 100% if I become helper (I still will even if I don't).

What are your weaknesses? Some of my weaknesses are I am new to Meep. This can be seen as a weakness because it offten portrays being inexperienced with Meep. however, I feel I have learned a lot about the server and if i become helper I will expand my knowlege.
I'm not sure if this would be considered a weakness but I have a job that may affect the times I am online as my schedule varies.
With being new to the community I haven't been very active on forums but I am becoming active. I'm not active on discord chats but if there are people in voice chatroom I am open to joining but there aren't very many people on discord.

Introduction: Hello there. We meet again. I'm Comarch right now. I've built some more things, definitely learnt a lot, and I'm applying for regular arch.

I joined Meep in October of 2016 (I think). I joined a couple different towns, even made one myself. I was a pretty cringey kid back then (and probably still am) but I sure did have a good time. Come reset I joined up with New London. That fell after a few months. I ended up creating a few towns with various people. Most of those failed. I haven't had good experience in management (yet!). But I've still had a good time all the way through.

Now I'm with Legion, struggling to get up to date on dungeons. Oh well.

Why should you be Architect? First of all, I have good building skills. You can look at those pictures for proof. Second, I've demonstrated that I'm capable of working on projects through Comarch. Refer to pictures to see some of the things I've worked on.

What builds have you completed on the server and where might they be located? Since my last app, I've built various maps and miscellaneous projects. They're in the Comarch world. Also, I've helped build donator spawn and arcade spawn (/spawn and /warp arcade).

You can still see some of my other builds in Towny. Probably my favorite Towny build I've worked on is Aureum (-7500/60/500). It used to be a town, now it's a Legend outpost.

Most of my creative plots also have various things I've built.

Everything else is either on a creative server (that isn't Meep) or Legend's development server.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I've learned a lot from building with various people, and I'd love to help even more with whatever Archs do all day.

Introduction: Hi, I’m qaz. My general introduction has not changed much from the last time I applied. I still like hiking, playing board games, and reading (my favorite is still high fantasy, but I will read anything good that falls into my hands), and I still mine obscene amounts of quartz while listening to podcasts (Reply All, Cortex, Conversations with People Who Hate Me, In the Dark). I’m also a mayor in Legend and I am hoping to revitalize my old town, Peachstreet, which is now a district in Legend.

Why should you be Helper? I’ve been staff on Meep for a year. I ran Meeptimes for a good portion of that time, conducting interviews and making sure that everything was running smoothly. I was always on top of moderation and questions. I built parkour courses for holidays and helped with the general design of the events as well. I was consistently active throughout all my time as staff. When I held the position of supermod, I made sure to communicate with mods and helpers about their strengths and weaknesses on a regular basis. I work well with others, no matter who they are. I do not mind mind-numbing but necessary work – on multiple occasions I have spent dozens of hours within a period of less than a week looking through logs. I plan on continuing doing whatever is necessary for my role to the best of my abilities, just as I have done before.

What are your weaknesses? For one, I’m not good at communicating my opinion, particularly if I disagree with the general consensus. I like to avoid conflict to a degree that is unhelpful when it comes to idea generation or thinking about the future. However, I am challenging myself to stand up for my opinions, even if they go against the rest of the group.

Additionally, I always struggled with balance in responses to transgressions. I never felt that I figured out exactly what was fair and at what point. This is related to seeking to avoid conflict – I obviously didn’t want people to break server rules, but I didn’t want to overreact either. I always had trouble in finding the line between permissible and not. I did get better at it over time, but it was still bothersome, even as a supermod. I hope that with even more time I get even better at it.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: As I mentioned in my introduction, I am busy with schoolwork. I try my best to stay on top of it and allow time for Meepcraft, but it is not always perfect. I will likely be more active as the winter ends. However, even during periods of inactivity, I will always communicate why and for how long I will be gone.

Hello, my name is James and I am from the United Kingdom, specifically Yorkshire. Let’s go through a bit about myself. I’m a computer science student at college currently and I work as a sales assistant at Morrisons Supermarket. My interests are technology, audio and film.
Throughout my life, I’ve always had an interest in technology and most certain, the weather. As someone with a slight eye will have noticed, I am no longer going for Meteorology. This is due to the fact that I don’t exactly like algebra and that is what the course consisted of (I mean, who actually likes it).

Why should you be Helper? There are a few reasons why I believe I would be a great candidate for the helper position on the server. Previous experience is one of my strong points. Now I know that experience can be miss-leading but I have been successful previously. With the help of my friend Max and some others, we successfully created a huge server with over 800 players which is one of my proudest moments in my history of being staff. This gave me a good insight into what it means to be staff. From handling players, to being a system/server administrator, technician and architect, I have experience in all fields. This can relate to the work which is needed currently by the staff team. As I’ve had experience in most areas of servers, I can branch out if needed to help on other tasks which we are short staffed on.
Previously I have been staff on Meepcraft, some people will remember when I was mod last year. I believe that for me, this went successfully. I was able to go through the training section with ease and pick up the commands and rules easily. It got to the point where I was able to join the training team and assist the team in training up the staff. This was helped massively by my previous leadership skills which I was able to build up during High School, college and previous servers. I’m able to command a team of people to get a job done which was shown during my role as ‘learning leader’ (I know, cringe) during my High School years.
As I’ve had training from my real life job, I’ve been taught the most effective ways of handling customers (in this case players) and what to do in most situations. I’m able to keep a professional manner when handling customers or players, no matter the situation. If I don’t know the answer, I ask someone else as there is no point in keeping them waiting. Efficiency is something I have a strong point in, I’m able to get through modreqs and customer requests with ease and with a decent speed without compromising the experience that they will receive. I believe that a high standard of quality is important when handling customers as its quality what people come back for. If they have a bad experience, it paints a bad picture in their mind of the whole server and they may not return, this is not what I want to happen.
Due to me being staff previously on the server, I’ve had a lot of time to take in the ins and outs of what happens. I’ve got projects I’ve been working on as staff and I never got to complete them. There are ambitions of mine which I want to get out there on the server and that could only happen if I get the position. I’m always open to ideas from other people and am able to command a group of people (a team) to reach a certain goal. I’ve proved this before and I’m certain I can do this again.
More so, staff is an opportunity for me. I’m looking into the long term this time, not a few months. This is an opportunity for me to further increase my skills with customers and service skills which will help me with my job and improve my performance on the server. Due to this fact, I believe that my performance will be higher than last time (which I believe was adequate for the standard that the server is looking for) and will only improve moving forward from here.
My timezone is another reason why I believe I would do well as staff. Due to me being in the UK timezone, I am on when most other staff members aren’t. More often than not I log onto no staff on. This is a recurring occurrence which I hope to rectify.

What are your weaknesses? At the end of the day, no one is perfect (even if you think you are).
One of my main weaknesses is my activity can vary. Due to me having a job and being a full time student, it means that I will not be able to get on as often as most other staff. However this is countered by the fact I can be on in times that most other staff members are not even awake at.
Previously I have had low interaction on other forms of media that the server has had. As a few people may have noticed I haven’t really been posting on the forums a lot lately. This is usually due to the amount of time I have to dedicate to those other sections of the server. I know it is important but the time I have, I would much rather invest into improving the server and helping out moderating in the timezones when no one is on, rather than taking part in debates (I do read what goes on in the threads. I’m not completely inactive). However I expect this to improve as the shifts calm down at work and due to me getting a proper phone in the coming weeks and my recent purchase of an ipad pro, I can get online more often.

When did you join Meepcraft? April 4th, 2018 (I also played in 2015 on Manspence a bit)

Introduction: Hiya, I’m Mettekes! I also go by names like Mett, Metty, and Met. I used to own the town called Solitude, but I decided to try something new and moved to Legend, and now I’m a builder and recruiter in the town. Most people would say that I’m new to the server, but I’m quite active. I am on as much as I can during almost every day.

The main activity I do during my hours outside of being online is band. I play many instruments including flute, piccolo, piano, alto saxophone, I also sing a bit. I can play many other instruments, just not that well. I’m in marching band season right now, and we currently have all 3 of our movements on the field with the songs set and memorized.

I really enjoy listening to music, and I’m listening to it pretty much 24/7. Most people ask “What kind of music do you listen to?” and I respond with “Everything BUT country” (sorry all country lovers here). I put on random playlists on Pandora, and stick with it. I always enjoy having it on, but sometimes I pause it when I go to do something, but end up not un-pausing it for an hour or two.

I am a Sophomore in high school right now, and I’m not as busy as I thought I would be. I have a lot of free time on my hands after school and homework. My hours for school for the first semester of the school year goes from 6am-5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. On Wednesdays and Fridays it goes from 6am-3pm. The main reason it goes that long is for marching band practice after school, and an early morning class. I enjoy most of my school classes, which is kind of shocking. I thought I would hate it in school this year, but surprisingly I have had a pretty good time. I take all the ordinary classes, but take advanced math and English.

Moving. I move a lot, and that’s for my dad’s job. I am living in Wyoming at the moment, in the 12th town of my life. I’ve moved about four times in the past three years of my life. A lot of people ask if it is hard to move, which it is, sometimes. The most hard move I’ve done was only recently where I had to move to where I live right now. The difficulty of moving all depends on where you are moving from and to. If you live in the same place for a while, it will be hard to leave your friends but it’s nice to meet new people and go new places for a change.

Why should you be Helper? I have a lot of positive traits. These traits are trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. Having each of these traits are key to being a great helper, and they are very important to become a great person that is loved by many.

The first trait that I show is trustworthiness. In trustworthiness a person has to be an honest, loyal, and reliable person. I show all of these traits. I help people out in any way that I can,. If somebody were to ask me to do something, I would be able to pull it off in the amount of time that they needed it to be done, and they could rely on the fact that I am and would do that task. Being able to have somebody rely on you is a big part of making new friends, and keeping those friends throughout your life. I am an honest person at all times, and I never lie to people. Being an honest person is part of being able to be relied on. Loyalty is a huge part of my life, because I have experience where close friends have not been loyal to me and back-stabbed me. Being loyal will help other people know that you are a trustworthy person.

Being a respectful person is a great way to communicate with others. You have to show consideration, responsibility in decisions, good manners, and you are respectful. I show each of these things in respect. People will know that I am able to make decisions on my own, and carry them out. For the decisions I make, there is usually something that leads up. I make good decisions in life generally, ensuring that people know I show the trait respect. I can also show good manners in most situations when it is needed. Showing good manners in front of new people is very important just to show that you are a responsible person. I am also a very respectful person, and show respect to authorities, such as staff.

Responsibility is a huge one. You have to be self controlled, you have to think before you act, you have to be accountable for yourself, and you have to complete the tasks that you start. Each of these things are something that I do and I am. I am a very self controlled person, and it is pretty self explanatory in the way I act in the different situations that are at hand. I most always think before I act, and if something is said by me that wasn’t meant to said I say my apologies and make sure everybody clearly knows that what I said was meant in a different way. I am accountable for myself, and anything that I do will be either fixed, or improved greatly. Each task that I start is generally finished, unless I bit off more than I could chew. If that is the case, then I either ask people for help, or a guiding hand.

When somebody else wants something the same as you do, you have to respect that and be sure to let them have the same opportunities that you have had or want to have. You have to play by all the rules, be open minded, and not take advantage of any others, and there you have fairness. I always am playing by the rules, and generally ask if something is against the rules before taking act on it. If it is against the rules then I do not do it, and try to figure out something different to be done. I am a pretty open minded person, and make sure of that. When people make new ideas, I give my honest opinion. I like finding new ideas and giving feedback on if they are either good or bad. I always am choosing one way over the other, but if one way is better I can always switch over to that and be very open minded about either side. I never take advantage of others. I have experience with being taken advantage of, and it is not something fun or anything that other people will want to go through. Being taken advantage of can hurt a person’s self-esteem and confidence in life, and making somebody go through that is something that nobody should wish upon another person.

The next trait, is caring. To be a caring person you have to be kind and compassionate, grateful, and forgiving. All of these apply to me as well. I am always a kind person in most situations. I joke around sometimes, but apologize afterwards if that person took it seriously and have a chat with them. I am a compassionate person by showing compassion to those who need a helping hand. I like boosting people up, and making sure they know they are worth effort and not worth what others may say about them. I am a very grateful person, and always say my thanks to people when they do something as simple as open the door for me. Whenever people are serving me, I say please and thank you. It is important to let them know how kind of a person you are. I am a forgiving person as well. Forgiving people for lying to me is key, and then move on. Never bring that lie up again, unless they bring it back up willing to talk about it. Letting them know that you moved on from that and forgive them is as simple as saying “It’s okay, I understand why you did these things.”

Watch how active you are, being active and making people feel liked on the server is good citizenship. Making people safe and happy, a safe and happy environment, being interested in the surroundings and taking part of them, obeying rules and laws, and respecting authorities is showing good citizenship. For me, most of these are just common sense. I always make people feel part of everything that they would like to be apart of, and make sure that they can do what they want in activities, etc. I make sure that the environment around people are okay by switching conversations if they need to be switched. Being interested in the things that other people are doing, and check out what they are doing in their time is a fun thing to do, watching people grow as a citizen in the server. I do not break the rules, and strictly follow them. When people are breaking the rules, I go and tell authorities as soon as possible. I respect those authorities, and show them that they are people worth being respected for all of the work that they do for the people around them.

Showing all of these traits is an important part of being a good and helpful person. I show each of these traits by just being mindful of other people, and my surroundings. Taking care of what I say and do also is a big part of making sure that I show all of these traits. Everything is tied to those few simple things, and they are fairly easy to follow.

What are your weaknesses? I have a few weaknesses that I am currently working on. I am one of those people who just loves to have fun. When people in global are there having fun, I join in and sometimes it gets out of hand. Generally when that happens, I try to stop right away but sometimes don’t.

When there are people that annoy me, or make me mad, I try my best to be their friend but sometimes fail. There’s one instance on Meepcraft that included one other person and I, whom I will not mention, were pretty good friends. That friend told me something that was not true, and told more lies to cover that lie. I was pretty hurt, and was very mad at them. I wasn’t that good of a person to them after they had lied, and I got in an argument over what happened. We both were yelling at each other, and making things up about each other that were pretty harmful in both cases. I ended up telling staff.

In global chat I can sometimes get out of hand in joking around with others. Joking around with others is pretty fun, and let me tell you, it makes some pretty great stories. I also can be slightly immature on days that this happens, and a lot of people call me out on that. To fix this, I will make sure to not talk about things that are not supposed to be talked about in global chat. Also, I will not be obnoxious in the chat.

I can be pretty rude without even meaning it. A lot of times, when somebody is being annoying I come back with a snarky or rude comment. This can hurt people, and make things complicated, leading to things that could be harmful to more than one person. When I have a problem like saying something rude, I will be sure to apologize and make everybody know what I meant.

I am not very active on discord, and do not really check it at all. I had to make a new account because I forgot all the information on my last account due to inactivity. To fix this, I will try and be logged into discord whenever I am online the server, just as I do with forums. Trying to be active on this will help me be more aware of what’s going on outside of the server.

I plan to fix all of these weaknesses, and have been in that process for a while now. Fixing these can be a hard thing, but will be pushed through no matter what. When these are fixed, it will make me a better example towards other players of the server, and can be very helpful. I see a helper and any staff as an example for other players around the server, which is what I strive to be as well.

When did you join Meepcraft? April 21st, 2017

Introduction: Hey everybody! As probably very little of you know, my 1-year anniversary on Meep has just passed, and I thought it would be a good time to apply for helper, because it’s something I have wanted to do for a while now and I couldn’t think of a better time.

But a little about me: I’ve lived in NYC my whole life, and will be attending Bronx High School of Science in the fall. While it is going to a lot of work and finger-crossing, I aspire to go to MIT through the Regeneron Research Program. Outside of school, I have been playing the piano since 2010 and fencing since 2015. I’m interested in engineering, physics, astronomy, and philosophy and aspire to find work as a physicist later on. I am an atheist who’s been going to a small Catholic school since Kindergarten. I’m not much of a social butterfly, to put it lightly, and I don’t really fit in with the people in my school. That and the fact that I’m not athletically inclined pretty much shapes my hobbies.When I’m not playing Meep, I tend to read a lot, practice the piano, and, to be completely honest, look for interesting articles and videos about physics and real nerdy stuff like that.

Now compared to most Meep’s active playerbase, I am still a newcomer, seeing as most joined several years ago. However, I can say with confidence that I do not lack in knowledge or experience of the server in the slightest. And throughout my time on Meep, applying for staff crossed my mind several times, but only recently have I thought I was ready to do so. This server is the only one I have ever considered becoming staff on because it is the only one that I felt worth was worth it. Meep is the best server I’ve played on, which is why I have a strong desire to give back to it.

Why should you be Helper? First off, I know that I can meet every standard a helper is supposed to meet. I can do that with enough effort that it will appear effortless. But I also know that I can bring so much more to the staff team than simply meeting expectations. I believe that great things never have never and will never be done by meeting expectations, but by exceeding them passionately.
Here are the my characteristics that I feel are the greatest qualifiers for me to be a Helper:

Likeable and a Team Player
I believe that I am a very approachable person, and while my social anxiety disagrees, I like to think that I am generally well-liked throughout the server. This personability makes me easy to talk to in-game, over server-related discords, or on forums. Moreover, I am available and active on all of those platforms. This trait helps me work in a team, another strong characteristic that I possess. I admit I am more of a solo player, but I understand the sacrifices one has to make when working with others, and I have the capacity to take multiple ideas into account.

Unbiased & Persuasive
Being unbiased is obviously very important in the job of a helper. I know that I am able to step back from any situation an look at it with a clear head and an unbiased viewpoint, even if the situation involves a friend (or an enemy) of mine. Whether it be mediating a squabble between my brothers, finding compromise when I’m working with classmates, or solving a spat in towny, I have always been great at ending fights. One reason I can do this so well is because I am very persuasive. Although I may not break bones, I use words as my influence. Hell, I basically talked my way into an instant co-mayor position at Polartown upon joining. Offline and at school, I can talk myself into (and, much more often, out of) things.

Humble
I am extremely humble. To be honest, I am probably the most humble person I know in real life, or on the server. Most people’s inferior minds are unable to comprehend how humble I truly am. My enormous cup runneth over with such pure altruism you wouldn’t believe it. I am so incredibly amazing at being humble, in fact, that all people are utterly dwarfed in the epic shadow of my humility.

Passionate & Determined
These are really two separate characteristics, and are by far my strongest, but I think they go hand-in-hand:

When I begin a project, when I start something myself, I see it through, and I see it through with passion. I make mistakes, and try again. Then again. Then, after that, again. How ever many times it takes for whatever I am working on to be the best that I can make it. I apply this in real life mostly to the piano. I do my best to practice daily, and I bang the wrong notes so many times before I have mastered a piece, but it pays off in the end, because I do not stop trying. As you may see from my seemingly overdone intro to this section in the application, I don’t settle for standard, yet I don’t aim for perfection. What are your weaknesses? Procrastination
I have trouble finding the motivation I need to start a project. When working on anything, beginnings have always been the most difficult part for me. Honestly, I’m a major time procrastinator, mostly if it is something I don’t think is important for me to do.

Scatter-brained
I get distracted easily, I might be working on one thing and remember something else I need to do, and abruptly stop what I am doing to complete the other activity, therefore leaving some projects unfinished until I finally come back around to it later.

Unserious
I don’t take many things very seriously, which can be a good thing certain cases, but sometimes I can act in an immature way and annoy people, or maybe I won’t handle a serious situation in the proper serious manner, and the other people involved could get offended.

Introduction: Hi! I’m qazini, also known as panini by many. I currently reside in Legend as a co-mayor, though I am probably better known for running Peachstreet in Beta as well as the current towny world.

Outside of Meep I like to read, mostly epic fantasy but really any book that I can get my hands on. Stephen King books are also a must for me, though so far, I’ve not read as many as I’d like to. I really enjoy movies, mostly from the previous century. Tarantino movies are some of my favorites. During the summer I plant a patio garden of tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchinis, as well as various flowers. I also hike in the Cascades during the warmer months, which are close by.

I recently participated in an internship that concluded with a start-up pitch to an executive director from one of the largest companies in the field. It ended successfully, with our group getting connections, advice, and an offer to tour their headquarters, to which I’m looking forward to.

My current favorite class at school – and really, all-time favorite – is APES, or AP Environmental Science. If you mention anything vaguely related to it, I’ll probably start talking about water body eutrophication or demographic trends. However, I also like Spanish, and I can’t wait for AP U.S. History, which I’m going to be taking next year since I really enjoy learning about the past.

I’ve joined Meep over a year and a half ago and before then I didn’t imagine that I could get so obsessed with a computer game – I’m not the gaming type. Since then I’ve run Peachstreet for a year and a half, up until I gave it away when I went on a small hiatus during the winter due to life priorities. Now I mostly help as co-mayor in Legend and mine quartz while simultaneously enjoying my newly-discovered world of podcasts. So far, my favorites are Hello Internet and This American Life.

Why should you be Helper? I am an eager person, always ready to assist others. Over my time on Meep I have done multiple things to help players, especially new ones. I’ve written and edited a towny guide that may help residents adjust to towny commands and get them familiar in the ways of making money. I’ve successfully managed a town for over a year, and through this I have become familiar with managing difficult conversations and instructing players, as well as the necessary knowledge of towny commands and rules, interaction between fellow town staff and management of projects.

Again, I’ll mention the towny guide I wrote. Even though I don’t consider it to be a demanding project, it did get frustrating when I would have to rewrite it multiple times in a row due to formatting issues. The current edition is the 9th book I have written, and it has been continually updated due to responses from both fresh players and active meepers.

My school is highly focused on team projects. This year I’m in two year-long groups, one for a competition, another for an internship, in which we meet often and collaborate on our project. This requires team work, reliance upon each other, disputation over ideas, and consensus over them. For the competition, my group’s work involves 4th and 5th graders, which required simultaneously finding a common ground with them and being able to monitor them. These skills can be directly applied to Meep, to the responsibilities of a helper.

I come from a problem-based approach: finding problems and then coming up with ways to fix them. This is another highly focused-upon skill at my school. Last year, my group investigated and designed a notification aid for people with hearing problems, and this year, with a different group, I’ve developed and proposed a way to involve and teach people about their personal impacts on the world, the impacts of larger establishments such as cities, and the complexity of issues that surrounds conservation of resources. Researching, problem-solving, designing, and completing a project are all skills I’d expect from the role of a staff member.

I’m an adaptable person and will do what’s needed at the moment. I know what my strengths and weaknesses are and will try to do jobs that are most aligned with them, but I am ready to take on any task, even if it’ll require me to stretch my bounds and make many mistakes to get to a proficient level.

I’m patient with others and keep frustration to myself when things aren’t going as smoothly as would be liked. Patience is probably one of the most important aspects of a town staff. Residents – specifically inexperienced players – take time to learn things, and sometimes may respond aggressively and create a general nuisance, which town staff must deal with and find ways to create an accepting environment. Assisting, calming, and directing players are all part of this responsibility, and I’d imagine something helpers encounter daily as well.

I often reevaluate my actions and decisions, especially after unpleasant altercations, though admittedly, they are far and few between for me. I am not a rash person and approach most situations with care and caution. I reread the Meep rules quite often to double check on what is and what isn’t allowed. I’m not afraid to ask questions, since however much you learn you can never know everything.

What are your weaknesses? I’ve never been staff on any server before, and while I’m knowledgeable in the rules and the general commands, I don’t have the knowledge or the experience of being a helper. I believe I can learn quickly and become proficient, but, as with anything, I would need to practice to reach that.

I’m competitive, and while I realize that this can be a positive quality at times, a driver of work, it also has some downfalls. Most prominently is typing, which I am fast at and hope to get better at. Sometimes however, though mostly not very recently, it has gotten into the way of helping. Multiple times I’ve answered with the wrong command because I typed it so fast, without pausing to think, misdirecting the person who asked. I’ve gotten better at controlling this over time, as accuracy is more important than speed, and I was worried about confusing players with accidental misinformation, so this is rarely a problem now.

My discord activity, while it has slowly left the abysmal zone, can safely be labeled as inadequate. It shames me to say that I don’t engage with the discord community much. I’m trying to get myself to visit the Meep discord more often, but I’m still struggling with integrating myself into this part of meepcraft.

While I wouldn’t label school and the work associated with it a weakness, it is a hindrance to the duties of a helper, so it’s on this list as well. I am diligent about my schoolwork most of the time, but I often have copious amounts of homework, which I place above Meepcraft. However, I still have time for Meep every day, and I try to make sure that space of time is as extended as possible.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I have been absent from Meep for about three months – the majority of November, December, and January, as well as the beginning of February. My life had gotten very active at that moment, so I needed more time on my hands than I could have had if I kept playing Meep. I am back now, with the same enthusiasm as before.

I will be on vacation for most of my spring break, which has started just this Friday. Accordingly, my activity will be lower than usual. Needless to say, I'll try to be on as much as possible.

Why should you be Helper? I have been playing on the server for over 1 year now and know my way around all the different towny and server commands. I live in Australia giving me an advantage when it comes to my timezone, allowing me to get on when other staff have gone to bed.

With previous experience as staff on other servers I know all the prism commands inside and out.

Having experience in the dancing industry, I know how to work with children of all ages and handle difficult situations that others might struggle with.

What are your weaknesses? I don’t really make conversation in global, but if someone asks a question I’ll answer it however apart from that I do most of my talking on Teamspeak not global. Introduction: Hello my name is Øyvind or you might know me as Paincakexx1997. I am a 19 year old teenager that lives in Norway/Bergen. I have been busy with my finals which i got a decent grade on And now i am going to start my apprenticeship, i am going to work in a laboratory for the time that i am going to be an apprentice. I love chemistry which is the main reason that i chose to work my way to become a lab-assistant/researcher. It shows that with hard dedication and motivation you can become anything you want in life!

I was staff about 3 months ago, the reason i resigned from the position was that finals was coming up and i wanted to be ready for those, but i will be honest and say that i could have waited with resigning for 2 weeks, but due to current conditions i decided to resign from the position early.

Back to me, if i was going to evaluate the type of person i am, i would think i am a person that can joke around and be relaxing around friends, but i can also be strict when it is needed. I am also the kind of person that has a strong belief in fighting for what you believe in. But that also means that discussing with others is something that is important to me.

Why should you be Helper? Experience:

When i came to meepcraft or as it was called back in the day MN. I was in charge of the faction part of the server. I had very limited resources to work with because of the limited amount of staff that wanted to work on the faction server. And during this period there was the fight between cruelty and fuzzlr that was going on. It all ended with the fall of MN and the new meepcraft emerging.

I then started from scratch and became a helper, i then quit and came back a couple times before i became super-mod, then i quit 3 months ago due to reasons stated above.

Also with the experience, i have knowledge of prism and how to use prism. I might be a little rusty but i have the knowledge, it just needs some refreshing.

Work Ethic:

When i have started on something, i like to finish that work before i leave the server. The reason behind this is that i do not like to leave work half finished.

I can also be strict when needed and work under pressure. This is something i have learned after 3 years in the student council at my college.

I have never had any issues with working with others either, as long as everyone is open minded and tries the best they can.

I feel that i am a open person, i think i can get along with anyone. Even if i disagree with someone i can still work with them. And if i have a issue with anyone i would rather talk with them and figure out what the issue is instead of talking about them to others behind their back.

Spelling has always been a weakness that i have had, the main reason for this is that my main language is Norwegian. Also the way i set up sentences can be bad because of this.

Introduction: Hello Meepcraft! After much thought I have decided to reapply for a staff position. As most of you know I was previously a part of the staff team. I served as helper for about a month, until I applied for mod and served for another two. My time on the staff team has most definitely been some of the most enjoyable I've ever had on meep. From building strong friendships with my fellow staff members to interacting with different players from all around the server on modreqs, I enjoyed it all. The relationships that I formed with my peers throughout the time on the team is definitely something I prize most about the three months. They carried over to platforms outside of Meep, and we even bonded over things completely unrelated to Minecraft. The opportunity to grow so close to these people is something that I will always be grateful for.

Why should you be Helper? Well first of all, my prior experience on the staff team. I still know all the commands like the back of my hand and am confident that I could still tackle any staff situation with ease. Due to this, I would require little training and almost immediately be able to jump back in and start helping the team. Some staff even still come to me for prism help when they are online with no other staff to answer their questions.

Second of all, my maturity. When in game, whether it be speaking in shout, local, or private message, I almost always retain a mature demeanor. This is a very important quality in staff members and is crucial when handling almost every staff situation. While I do mess around sometimes, I very quickly know when it is time to get serious. Not to mention, when I mess around I'm fairly sure it does not drift into the realm of immaturity.

Now thirdly, and finally, my attitude. I don't think there are more than three instances when I've been intentionally rude to players on this server over my whole time on Meep. I am nice to everyone, and I make an effort to show people that they are welcome. However, attitude does not only account for how one treats people, but also how one reacts when presented with a stressful situation. Personally, I always stay level minded during shaky events. This is also quite an important quality when it comes to performing adequately as a staff member and that is why I will do very well in a helper position.

What are your weaknesses? Teamspeak Maturity - Yes, sometimes I get carried away when talking on teamspeak. I will get too hyper (depending on my mood) and act immature. This is something I will undoubtedly put all my effort towards trying to stop as a staff member and am confident that I will succeed. However, It is definitely something the community should know about before placing their votes.

Nation Roleplay - I get too emotionally invested when someone threatens my nation in beta. It was my dream since I first joined meep to own the largest nation, and I finally accomplished after 3-4 years time, so when that dream is threatened I tend to overreact. Don't take this out of context, however. Never have I made any vulgar or personal attacks on any other person, any other town, or any other nation that was threatening mine. Not even my relationships with the people on the opposing side have ever been affected. I simply view these situations as roleplay and nothing more, but I do tend to get very serious about them.

Introduction: Hey, so here's a little bit about me. My name is Ian, and I'm 14 years old. I'll be honest, I'm not normal, and I embrace that as a gift. Being different is something I'm proud of, as I stand out among others. I regard to myself as a jolly and silly person who is capable of being mature when necessary. I always try to be kind to people, as everyone is fighting an internal battle I know nothing about. This summer, I'll be working in a computer store, fixing them, building them, all sorts of neat stuff. I'll also be working at a day camp as a CIT, dealing with smaller children, around age 8. I'm on the verge of moving from Middle School from High School. I participate in a few extra-cirricular activities, including soccer and rowing, which both recently ended seasons. Aside from that, I do my best to remain involved with my community and peers. I believe that leadership among your peers is a charitable quality without being arrogant. In my 3+ years of being involved in the Meepcraft community, I believe that I have learned a few things about the server.

Why should you be Helper? Before I joined the Meep community, I usually just hopped from one server to another, hoping one day I would find one that's worth sticking to. One day, I found Meep. I immediately knew it was something different, that it had something else that servers didn't have. It wasn't one of those servers where you meet someone, play a minigame with them for a while, then never see them again. It was a community, where you could adapt and play a part on the server.I immediately knew it was the server for me, so I decided to stay. I believe that Meep has helped me grow and mature, and make me a much more respectable player. And throughout these few years, I've learned quite a bit about the server. I know commands, and a lot about the players and community as a whole, which is one reason why I believe I would make a suitable fit as a staff member of the server. Being the current owner of a beta town and some previous others, I have learned to deal with new players. I do my best to introduce them to the server and help them with any commands or anything else they need. Another reason is my work with different kinds of people. I love to work with kids, which makes up a large portion of the young players of Meep. I also have dealt with kids with personality differences, such as excessive anger and/or a tendency to be "toxic". I've learned how to deal with these types of people as I treat anyone else, as kindly as they allow me. Another reason I believe I would make a suitable staff member is my responsibility. When I am faced with a task, I get it done as fast as possible. I don't procrastinate until the last possible minute to get it done hastily. I get it done with efficiency and speed. Another reason I believe I'm staff material is my attentiveness. I'm always paying attention to the chat, so, for say, if someone broke a rule in chat, I would be able to take action. I also believe that my hours online would be ideal to the server's goal of having staff on 24/7. Yes, I do understand we have many staff in the US. However, on the weekends which will soon turn into almost every night due to summer, I stay up to 1 or 2, sometimes even 3am. At this time, not many staff are on, which leaves a gap for players to break the rules.

What are your weaknesses? Everyone has weaknesses, and I'm not going to sugarcoat myself and say I'm perfect. My first weakness is irritation. I get irritated a bit much when I see people breaking the rules. It just makes me annoyed how people are willing to ruin others' experiences in order to get something for themselves. I also get annoyed with trolls, which falls under a similar category. They just get on my nerves. I understand these weaknesses and everyday I work towards moving passed them.

Introduction: Hello, my name is nick, in the game I’m NickxGold. I was born in Mexico and moved to the nice beaches of California. I fluently speak Spanish and English. The hobbies I do when I’m not online are playing in a school band, I play the trumpet. I also swim, dance, track, and play soccer. I’m in CSF and in a Junior Interact where we help the community. We either pick up trash, help elders, or plant trees.

Why should you be Helper? I believe that I should be a helper for many reasons. One I'm incredibly devoted to Meepcraft and would do anything to help meep in its most possible ways I could. I will put all my effort into making Meepcraft a prosperous server. I’ve recorded 10+ hackers and reported them on Meepcraft. I also will never depart my way through a situation. I will always put the person I’m helping before myself and satisfy their every need. I don't care how long it takes or how hard it is, I will get it done.

Also, being a Meepcraft Helper has always been a goal of mine. I've always had the passion to help others and my community. Unlike many others, I embrace tough situations and don't put them aside. I believe many people join these types of jobs not realizing how much dedication it takes. I believe that ostracizing people is the last option, and I will always try to handle the situation. Plus, I am always on Meepcraft because I love the server. I am always trying to make more time into play. I keep up good grades in school to assure my play time. I play many hours a weekday and even more on weekends. I also spend lots of time on Teamspeak talking to many great people.

I also fit many requirements to be a helper. I am great with people and very sociable. You can always count on me to come up with a way to work it out. I have never been banned and I’m not looking forward to. I know more than half of the prism commands and how they function. I’m also experienced with all the towny commands and just the basic Meepcraft commands. I have learned my mistake from my demotion, I was demoted for plagiarizing my past application. This is wrong because this is not only illegal in Meepcraft, but in real life as well. Trust me, I know what I did wrong and why it’s wrong. Introduction: Hey there Meepcraft, many of you already know me as Klitcher, but I was also formerly known as martinq17. I am a junior in high school in Florida where I enjoy listening to music, playing ultimate frisbee, and playing jazz.

Why should you be Helper? Up until about a month ago, I was Mod on this server. I know the in's and out's of the server, the team, and the community. Though yes, I did resign, all it ever turns out to be in the end is a break. While I was part of the staff team, I believe I did my part where I could and stayed on top of what I needed to. Although I did have some issues with going about proving myself, I believe I took many friends' advice for the better and have improved upon myself. I have confidence that I can pick up where I left off and be an even better helper than I was before.

What are your weaknesses? One of my weaknesses is trying to put too much on myself. While I know all of us hate people that have weaknesses that are really strengths, this one is actually a weakness. As staff, I would try to do a lot of things all at once, having them build up until stress overcame me and I eventually tumbled, getting little done.

Another one of my ongoing weaknesses is my humor. I have been known to take jokes a little too far, but I believe that I have improved greatly. I still have room to improve though.

Introduction: Hello everyone! My name is Liran, but most of you know me as ShadowLiran, even though Liran is still in there. I am 16 years old and I love the video game world. I do a lot of sports and activities outside as well, but I find a lot of interest in a variety of video games, which is why I spend a lot of my time playing them. Minecraft is definitely my top video game and Meepcraft consumes 98% of my time on it. I love to talk via text all the time, but I am super shy when it comes to talking by voice. I don't know why, but I have huge stage fright even over something like Skype. I always try my best to say what I must, but until I get comfortable with where I am speaking and who I am speaking to, I will barely talk or talk super quietly. I have a very peppy kind of personality, because I love making peoples' days. I don't know if I am considered a nice person, but it is something I always strive to achieve with anyone I'm with. I love the feeling when you turn someone from being sad to being happy or at least cheered up because I know that I made someone's day less depressing than it could have been. I am currently in grade 11, I have a pretty hard semester since I took all 3 sciences in AP even though I don't need any sciences where I want to go. (Waterloo Math/Computer Sciences). I have actually been Helper before, in January of 2014, and was helper for several months if I remember correctly. I want to prove to everyone and to myself that I can do more than that.

Why should you be Helper? I feel like I could become a great helper because I truly do love helping players. As my time as staff before, I learned that I really enjoy handling modreqs. It's just like that feeling I mentioned earlier, about making someone's day a bit better; well, most of the time, modreqs are helping someone getting something off their mind that was bugging them, so I could consider the same concept. Nowadays, more and more questions and concerns have been popping up in shout, at least from what I've seen, and when it's about 1-2 AM where I live, I typically see 1 or 2 and sometimes no staff online. I feel as if I could somewhat help the activity of staff because I am usually online many times throughout the day, and also when there are little staff on. I feel like I have a very vast knowledge of the commands, I usually see questions about plot commands or towny commands which is something I know even better due to managing my own town and brand new nation. I try my best to participate in all the different aspects of MeepCraft, to enhance my knowledge and experience with the different arcade mini-games like Laser and Skyblock, the town worlds, the events going on, and of course, the spawn. I am a huge supporter of any events that bring together the community, so don't be surprised to see me host some in the future if I become staff. I have thought about applying for staff many times in the past, and even many times within the past few weeks, but I was too scared to do it. But then I remembered something. My sister once told me "Anything you are scared to do now, do it anyways, because you will look back in the future and think to yourself 'Why didn't I do that?'." She then explained to me how the worst thing that could possibly happen is essentially a tiny bit of embarrassment that will be forgotten the next day. After thinking about this, I decided to just do what I was scared of and apply.

What are your weaknesses? I would say that my main weakness is my shyness. If you ever see me in a group chat in team speak, I will hardly say anything unless I am directly spoken to. I am trying very hard to work on this, it has always been a problem in my life, just talking to people by voice. I always talk very quietly and am unheard majority of the time. There are, of course, many people that I am very comfortable talking to or around, so that helps this issue a bit.

Another weakness I have is insecurity. I overthink everything that I say or do just because I am extremely terrified of any bad results that may occur. I always think of the worst possible outcome with anything I do. It gets a lot easier when I am talking by text because I type what my mind thinks, but when I talk, I stutter a bit and tend to have trouble finishing my sentence because I think of things like 'Is my word choice bad for this conversation?' or 'Should I say this, would it be worse if I did?', and then I forget what I was really saying, so I spend a lot of time trying to remember it. I am also working on this issue and hopefully I'll be able to articulate my words better so I don't stop mid sentence.

Hopefully, these issues aren't too big of a matter towards the staff position.

Another weakness I have, which is not really a weakness, is my writing skills. From this application, you can probably see that I am not too good at thinking of original things to say, mostly piecing parts of many, many applications. I am not a creative person overall.
