XeStorm, when you resigned from staff you told us that you had a lot going on in your life, and that you would be back in two months. You failed to mention that you and your dad were working on your own server while you were a staff member here and were leaving to launch it. This is an obvious conflict of interest. When several staff members discovered your server, they decided to oppose your re-entry to the staff team. However, you were not banned for this.

As we explored your website and server, however, we noticed several similarities to Meepcraft: you used the same forum software. You used a very similar forum section structure. You mimicked the the server structure (Towny, Skyblock, etc). You used nearly the same set of plugins that we use on Meepcraft. However, we realized two things: First, that imitation is the highest form of flattery, and second, that your server is extremely unlikely to pose a threat as a competitor to Meep. You were not banned for this.

Unfortunately, you went a step further. You didn't just mimic Meep: you copied entire documents from our site and used them as your own. You copied our rules. You copied our ban appeal information. You copied our staff application format and tips. As I am typing this, your website still contains these sentences:

Why were you banned? "Constant Harassment"

Why we should consider your appeal: I get no warning and I'm banned for "constant harassment", I really don't understand this anymore. Someone spams the forums with garbage threads seeking attention and just because they donated money this week I get banned. Excellent moderating though, you're doing your job quite well. At least I can rest comfortably tonight knowing that I am smarter than whoever decided to ban me. I guess telling someone they are immature, attention seeking, and using daddy's money is harassment. You're coddling a child that clearly is upset because he doesn't get the attention he so evidently needs from his parents.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: Honestly this is getting ridiculous.

I know what you're thinking- hey isn't this the kid who appealed like two days ago and got denied? Yeah that's me- and I'm not just appealing for the heck of it- a bunch of people motivated me to make this appeal. Before I get too deep into this I want to address two things

No it's kind of hard to trust a player like me- and since I just ban evaded for about a week (on spartanfighter12) it's definitely not a reason to trust me. I'm just a freshman boy with a lag inducing ban history and has been known to be a toxic member of a community. Unfortunately that image of me will exist for a long time - and won't change for awhile. But images are static- they don't change until you've done something to prove otherwise. That's the reason I want to get unbanned- I want to prove I can be trusted- even though my past says I can't.

The problem with that is that I always wanted to better the community but I never knew how or was too lazy to try. At least I say I don't know how- perhaps I'm too impulsive to figure it out. Either way, Klutch put some very good points in that message and in the other ones in our conversation. However the people who motivated me to write this gave me some insight on how I can be a help.

I had gotten it wrong. Being a good member of this community is not about not getting banned but about actually helping. This may be corny- but my dad told me once that to get rid of a bad habit- you don't need to just stop it, you need to replace it, with something that's a betterment to you and the people around you, and that's why I've been falling short on my "second" chances.

I have waited for 4 months, as to self-punish myself for my actions.

Let's start with the beginning of all appeals; My apologies.

I am truly sorry for my mistakes. I was not well thought out back in Early 2015. I still had concussion issues. I was very doped out. I was immature. I have been serving as a Helper, which I self-believe I had done at least decently, which wasn't enough for the mistakes that lead up my self-incrimination.

I hope to change that. I am back, along with me more common sense and a changed attitude.

I hope you guys forgive me. I had performed a fake chargeback using PayPal claims, which in turn looked like a chargeback; However Digital Goods aren't covered by PayPal, specifically stated; I used that to get myself banned. (No fees has been issued to either party, nor any money has been billed or refunded) However, it doesn't matter how I got myself banned. I did it. It was wrong. I have regretted doing that brash act without second thought. I was so filled with anger and confusion, that blinded me from being reasonable.

That was foolish. Beyond relief. I had banned myself to free myself of my video game addiction. I was a addict and still am. I love Minecraft. A part of me was simply gone. I've devoted myself from when I was a wee 6th grade who got Minecraft for Christmas. I still remember that fateful day like it was yesterday, damn.


I miss you guys. So much. I've been trying to hold everything, all aspects of Minecraft, MeepCraft, the community back. I've repressed it for a while, denying the fact that I would give anything to play again.

I, again, apologies for being a player of ignorance and hubris. And most of all immature.

I hope I have changed enough to show you that I can be that Captain, the good side, that I once was remembered for. We, or atleast I, had very, very good times. I have tears when I remember the night when we had the rap battle with Cooleys and Deinen, and I was the DJ. It was the best. (Deinen is a rap savage ;3)

Okay, so I'm gonna say this before it gets denied. i don't know why Abby denied my appeal because 1. She's totally biased and emotionally upset at me and she shouldn't handle my appeals. 2. She denied it, because of "no appeal" but if that was the case, why would Slicks even give me the chance to reappeal on my previous appeal. I'd like a redo

Why we should consider your appeal:

Most of you know me by now, and I'm sure when you see this appeal, you'll say "oh no, this guy's back" but I deserve that and everything you have to say about me. I realize that I'm not the nicest guy around, nor have I been very nice to some of you guys/girls. I'm here to change that. I apologize to you all, the staff, the players, everyone that I've encountered while playing the game. I realize that I'm actually really annoying, and I want to prove to you all that I want to change that. I can be nice and not so much of a bad guy when I'm not stressed out. If you ask some of my friends, or some staff that I became friends with, they may say that I'm not so annoying once you get to know me. I want to be a whole new person, a person that has no bad history and someone who's known for being nice, and not much of a nuisance or moron. I realize that this is a long shot, and I'm willing to prove it in any way possible to you that I truly want to come back to the server and the community and start fresh. If I fail, give me things to improve my chances, I'll do it, come back and I will regain any and all trust lost with this community. This is my #1 priority right now, other than school of course. To add on to my previous appeal ^^ i have had 2 weeks to think about this, and I am 100% ready to come back to Meepcraft and start over. I promise the community I won't mess this one up because I know you all hate seeing me. Seriously though, I really do want this chance to come back one more time, because I really can't forget about this server because it was a big impact on what I did in the last 2.5 years. If I am to be unbanned on this appeal, you have my word that if I am banned for something(which won't happen), I will not come back to meepcraft and I will leave the server willingly and forget about it and just finally leave. My word probably doesn't mean much to any of you at this point, but if you became my friend while i played actively, you'd know that I'm actually not that bad of a guy and that I just have my moments(a lot more than others, but everyone has them). Why we should consider your appeal: OKay so I wanted to take a break from meep because a certain person ruined a bunch of stuff. I was listing off things I could do to get banned, because well ^. I filed a modreq asking for a 7 day ban, no one answered it so I started listing off stuff I could do to get banned. I even asked a staff member to ban me for 7 days before I would do something dumb (bazinga) Besides doesn't banning people for threatning to chargeback make them want to chargeback? Why to consider my appeal:

I believe you should allow me back online because I believe with this economical change I can attempt to do something positive. My language precision has been lacking in the past and has had some correction. I was banned for speaking of borderline content. I saw it as saying it as a law and I believe it was interpreted as committing the crime or speaking of it. Either way it was language deemed inappropriate for the age range of the community. Having a past history of foul language I should've known better.

This server I've met some great friends however most have moved on :/ so I'd appreciate to be allowed back on to contribute and hopefully meet some new friends.

Forum

I believe I was banned for an argument with Coelho. Long story short, he said what I and VKL think doesn't matter. I have a temper and I admit I lost my cool and snapping was not necessary. I believe you should unban my forum account because besides this having a non presentable name, with my account I've created many threads and engaging conversations contributing to the community. When I was active on that account I was on the Notable Members list due to my large contribution. All of my work wasn't worth losing over a battle that wasn't even mine to fight.

I always love to leave on a good note, I hope everyone enjoys there Easter/Passover Sunday, and I hope everyone had a well spent spring break or if you haves yours late like me that you look forward to your plans.
