Why we should consider your appeal:

Before starting I would like to point out that this is the second time I am banned and that although I like this server very much, I am mildly frustrated by the lack of comprehension on the staff's side. It seems that the policy on Meepcraft is "ban first, ask questions later" although I have to admit that DevilSpawn112 DID question me thoroughly before banning me.

Let me start by stating the rules concerning duping:

10. Duplicating Items
Whether it is by accident or with purpose, duplicating or ‘duping’ is not allowed. If your items accidently glitch or dupe, you are expected to report it to staff and hand the items over. If you are found to have duplicated items in your inventory it will count the same as being caught in the act. Reasonable suspicion is enough to take corrective action, but only if there is sufficient evidence. It is also illegal to leak information to other players on how to dupe items. It doesn't matter if it is already common knowledge.

All Offenses: PERMANENT APPEAL-BAN
*100% monetary fine

***Note: these situations can be more complex that this at times, and can/will involve forum discussion. Corrective action will be taken on the severity of the situation if a Temp-ban does not fit. If this behavior is repetitive, then more serious actions will be taken, such as a Permanent Ban.


As stated by the rules above, it seems fairly clear to me that duping is a term used to describe an action that leads to the multiplication of an item through a glitch. Please keep this in mind while making judgement on my case. Instead of trying to explain the mechanics of the game, I will let you see them for yourself here: .
I essentially used this game mechanic, NOT glitch to create multiple portals in the wild that I then mined. I did not automate the process like the person in the video but rather went to the nether each time and went through the portal manually. Note that this took me as much if not more time than pouring a water bucket on a lava lake and mining it. This in no way a glitch or an exploit of the game, it is using how the game normally behaves whether it be in single player, multi player, vanilla, bukkit server, etc ... and is fairly common knowledge. Upon asking why this was considered duping, I was answered that it is duping because it is using one set to create multiple to which I replied that in that case, farming carrots is duping. This is in effect, a similar action to farming carrots except mining obsidian takes a lot more time that harvesting carrots. If farming is not allowed, I am sorry for what I did but I had not seen this rule anywhere so I kindly ask for a second chance.

Don't file another ban appeal, you do nothing but waste our time. Even though this is the slightest thing to get banned for you went off the richter scale. Magnum was banned with you for the same reason and instead of having a complete fit he contacted me and we had a talk about it. I gave you multiple chances to talk to me on discord to sort things out but you chose to spit the dummy and complain in the general chat for everyone to see. I am now waiting for that last perm ban so it is the last time we deal with you Mia.

You literally just made a refund request for a chargeback, I would like a refund request for putting time into your ban appeals.

You have told staff multiple times you have changed. I am not bothered about what you say on teamspeak with your friends it is what you say around other players and children that concerns me. Yourself and a lot of other players say 'I have changed' on your ban appeals, you behave for a month then it is back to the same old.

You have been in my town for a while now and I agree you have been behaving. I will see how you are over the next two weeks and will make my decision based from that. Focus on being prepared for school, it is a fresh start to meet new people and test how much you really have changed so aim to make it a positive experience.

 

You have 35 bans from our server dating back to when this server first started to today with no sign of ever changing. I had to use my logs to read them all, and quite a few have been perm bans. Why would I expect anything different?

 

Hi. So you werent banned for drug ref. That was a 3h ban from chaoszero. you were banned for toxicity cuz you msged players and harassed them , telling them how they were worthless and bragging about how rich you are. You had almost 10 modreqs about your behavior as you went up to people, instigated a conversation, and then proceeded to harass them and call them worthless and stupid for playing minecraft. Want to explain yourself?

With regards to your request for review of the referenced ban, your request to have this ban overturned is denied.

With regards to your request that I review the way your appeal has been handled by Reggles (“Reggles is biased and refuses to even look at my side.”) I find that all the relevant information was properly reviewed by all staff involved and in no way was “your side” not looked at in full.

With regards to the reason for the ban you sent me (“I have been banned for a stupid, unfair reason. again.”) I disagree with that statement. You were banned for your actions alone.

After a final review of full ban history, including but not limited to this ban. You are now Permanently Banned from MeepCraft.com. This ban includes Game, TS, Forums, and any service or venue owned by MeepCraft.com.

This represents a final decision and is not appealable.

I think you already understand that. I doubt none of us will be terribly surprised when you're back in a few months with a slightly more earnest appeal - which will also be denied.

The section in bold is what is pertinent here. This statement frees Meepcraft from being liable for bad/scamming transactions. Any previous wordings have dealt with specifically they will not moderate these transactions. They never once stated that this is not a bannable offense, which is clearly covered in:

2. Deceiving Another Player
Any attempt to deceive another player by promising a service or any amount of money and failing to follow through with the deal made (Scamming), sending teleport requests to kill/entrap someone. This includes accepting a teleport request with intentions to kill the player, (Luring), or doing anything to take advantage of another player against their will violates this rule. (including dice scams etc.)

More to the point, it is unsettling in how you willingly partake in hurting another player(s) just because you thought it was legal. I think we have to ask ourselves, do we want people like this within our community? You have been previous staff many times, Nerf, there is no way you can argue that you thought this was an acceptable or morally correct thing to do. You in clear conscious set out to take away from another member of the community without regard.

I accept any warning points I may receive, however there has been no legal precedence set anywhere that you could scam people without a ban. To argue that this is indeed the case is simply not correct, logical, or acceptable.

Why we should consider your appeal: Unless I'm given a valid explanation as to why I'm banned on the forums past 7 days of inactivity, I'm not going to say that I'm sorry. Since then I haven't talked to any of the high staff except Kling, and even then I never outright trashtalked about anyone. If calling someone out with evidence is considered toxicity, then obviously something is wrong here.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I've talked to a number of staff members already about the way staff has been acting overall and we can agree that staff has changed, and not for the better. But this is a pretty new low, guys. What is up with that?

What have you learned and why should we trust you to do better? First I have learned to not use WD again. But first let me tell you the story. Basically like 7 months ago when the new spawn was released I wanted to do a trailer for my YouTube channel. The issue was I needed to be able to fly. At this time the only way to get fly notes was a .1% from voting. By the time I voted enough to get it this trailer would be irrelevant so I remember I could use WD. I did a quick check with a staff member to see if this was okay and they said they were pretty sure it was allowed. (No I do not remember said staff) So I went on my business and world downloaded spawn. A month or two later I wanted to record a kitpvp montage so I downloaded /warp kitpvp for some quick cinematic shots. This entire time I thought nothing of it was wrong because I was informed it was legal. 6 months go by and Muunkee finishes one of my modreqs and then asks me about downloading spawn yesterday. I hoped in TS and we talked for a little, knowing or at least thinking I did nothing wrong I wasn't worried until I logged on today.

Now let me just say, as cheesy as this is I really do mean it. If I stay banned that won't be what upsets me. It will the fact that my last impression on people was that I committed acts against a server that I loved and play for 3 years. A server that I loved so much I spent $80 0n.

In that teamspeak chat Muunkee told me how it could be used for malicious purposes, ones that didn't ever cross my mind and I would never think about in a million years. The most harmful one I could remember was x-ray. I don't need to x ray nor would I ever want to. I have my own Alpha town am assistant of brave-heart have 2.7 million Meep and lots of friends. I would never even need to x ray. But then that phrase that my mom always told me flashed in my brain. That if I am driving around with my friends and they decide to rob a store and get caught that I will be assumed to be robbing them. I never used WD for anything illegal but since it has the capabilities to I get assumed to be doing bad things. Which is very much understandable.

If I did get that amazing second chance I wouldn't waste it oh boy I wouldn't. That means I wouldn't ever think about using WD again or do anything illegal in general. And yes I have read over the rules.
Also If I must be wiped can I at least give my brother my town because he spent so much money on that town, and my friend also has so much money in there.

Also 'inyerfase' is my brother we can get on teamspeak to prove were 2 different people.

 

So my Appeal was denied but Klitcher even after he was not part of the discussion I had with few staff members last night. I know there could be a secret discussion for this so I asked Klutch if my appeal was actually denied. This is what he told me: http://i.imgur.com/uaYiiQL.png

Anyhow, It appears that the extra information that I provided last night was taken against me stating that the screen is too big for me not to notice any movements in front of me. *spoilers* This photo isn't a form of advertisement. I just needed a server where the chat is quite spammy just so I'll be able to recreate a similar moment of the ban taking in place. As shown in the photo provided and as I stated on the discussion, it is too small for me to see anything that's happening especially when the chat window is blocking your view. Again, this is just an example of what I have on my screen. The amount of people chatting and their chat color on meep should be considered when taking a look into this image.

Immediately after I get banned (my main account), I /msg Summrs using one of my alts saying I'm not macro'ing just to prove I was there. This happened within the span of 15 seconds or possibly less. If I was macro'ing afk, I wouldn't be able to react that fast. He proceed to ban my other account knowing that I /msg him. Now, realizing I got disconnected, I quickly jumped into that window only to find out that I've been banned. So I quickly /msg Summrs in order to prove that I was there but he proceed to ban every single one of my alts and even my brother's account because we have the same ip. @EnDer BunNieS can confirm that Templar_Artanis or was also know as Ender_Bunnies1 and Talos0013 is not an alt of mine.

Some of you are probably wondering why I have such a little screen. I'm watching an anime and I want to see everything as best as I could. Also, Deinen once told me "If you didn't do anything illegal, you'll be fine. Relax." I'm not doing anything illegal so why should I be worried that someone will just come into my island then record me.

I also know for a fact that someone reported me on Skyblock. My shop had every single exit blocked so that players won't run around my island. That shop area is completely isolated and for someone to see me mining, it seems a little bit suspicious. If you don't believe me do /warp skyblock /is warp daedric_ace and look at the direction where there are a bunch of hoppers. That's where the stone generator is. Considering that I blocked every exit of my shop, anyone who runs around outside of the shop is considered trespassing as I clearly did not want anyone running around on my island. This is just a little thought and I guess it should be considered.

Moving on, I don't want to leak so much info from the discussion last night but if I feel it is necessary in order to prove that the discussion was biased, I'll show some information. Regarding with my ban, as there is no clear evidence that I was macro'ing except for the video where I'm holding my CTRL button and will most likely never be overturned, I'd like my ban reason to be "watching anime while mining" because that will be more fitting. (Looks cool too)

I'm totally unsure if I forgot any information that I should've included while writing this but I just woke up so I guess I'll just add it on later lel. Thanks for reading.

This appeal will look similar to my previous appeal since most of my arguments are the same, but this time with more.

Recently the previous owner of this account gave away RuSiaN_PeDoBeaR to me, his friend/nephew. I would like to return to this amazing server once again(I have been on this server a long long time ago, with factions etc). I understand that the history of this account is awful, but that's history. If I get unbanned I guarantee that I will obey all rules and these things will never ever happen again. More over, I am willing to give back to the community in any way possible(helping people, applying for staff in the future maybe?) I'd like to get to know the community and become an active player who could contribute to this amazing community.

Even though I wish it was possible to get another account, it isn't possible because of money problems. Since my uncle doesn't play anymore he gave me this account.

The only way I can prove to you that I am not the previous owner, is us having a different IP. The previous owner is not able to acces this account, and I will change the password of the forums account as soon as it is unbanned. I'd once again like to appologize for the actions of the previous owner of this account.
