Greetings Dawn, I believe you are active and like the server, but my vote is going to yet again be a -1
-You're very dependent on others, and I don't trust that your decisions will be based off of your own opinions. I don't believe that you're able to contribute an opinion that is truly your own. A lot of the things that you do are revolved around what you think others would want you to do.
-You like to be involved in drama, and will do whatever it takes to make people like you. When problems are brewing, you try to get right in the middle of things so you know what's going on. I truly believe that you want to be a staff member to be in the thick of drama.
-On forums I see a lot of discouragement due to rankism, age, or bias. That's not very nice.
-I've known you for awhile now, and although the change has made you seem more desirable, I can't see any of it being sincere. A few months ago you were arguing with players a lot in global, and now you've changed so much that I don't know what to believe. It feels like every time you apply you're a different person. I would rather you be a great friend than be what everyone looks for in a staff member. It's starting to hurt me how much your personality has changed. I want the old you back.
If you would like to talk to me you know where to find me. You're a fantastic player, but I'm still not convinced that you would make a good helper.

 

Vkl you're a chill guy but I can't ever see you as a staff member.

I've personally spent dozens of hours on cases that directly or indirectly involve you. From spreading underage nudes of fellow meepers to exploiting bugs that could make you millions of meebles, you seem to have broken every rule that the server has laid out. I would not trust you to uphold these rules and follow them to the spirit of the letter as a staff member. You've poven time and time again that when you get the trust of the staff you will break that trust and do something completely idiotic. Others are saying not to hold your past against you but that's completely asinine, the past teaches us about the present and the future, you've definitely taught us you're completely unfit for this and that you're likely to do something illegal once you simply get bored again (your own words dude).

Vkl I don't ever see you post anything constructive on Meepcraft forums, I don't see you helping people, creating suggestions, improving suggestions, welcoming members, etc etc. Every other post you've made is a Ban Appeal, I've seen people denied because they were banned one time 3 months prior to their app! To consider you for the position after making those type of denials would be completely illogical.

What exactly makes you an asset to the team? What do you bring to the team that nobody else can bring? What is your wow factor that would make the team think "we absolutely need this guy"? You only make short statements then don't even proceed to support the staments with logic or evidence, at 18 years old you should be able to do much better than "I think I could help".

Additionally in your weaknesses you state this:

Firstly you are supposed to change and show improvement before you get accepted, not after. Why can you not be mature now, but expect to magically improve just because you have a Helper tag next to your name? What is holding you back from being mature now??

Again, why can you not control your temper now, but you except you to magically be able to control it "if need be"? You're basically saying if you get helper then you'll magically not be toxic without giving any evidence or real plans on how you expect to combat your weaknesses. For someone to put that little effort into their app, with as many bans as you have, should be an automatic denial.

In short I do not, and cannot, trust you. Your actions and words in the past have shown me your character well enough to make a judgement on your future. You put such little effort into this app that it seems like its all a joke. And seriously you lost mostly all of my respect when I was working the case that involved you spreading underage nude photos of a fellow meeper, it's a disgusting show of character that does not embody the staff team at all.

Introduction: Greetings Meepcraft staff and community. This is my application! If any of you all have read my previous applications, they tend to be on the shorter side due to my preference of getting to the point, so do not be alarmed when the "Why" may not be a dissertation! Aside from that, I am going into my senior year of high school, and I am looking to study broadcasting in college. I have participated in my school newspaper and yearbook, and I look forward to another great year. Why should you be Helper? In my past two times as Helper and Moderator, I have proven my ability in a staff environment. I consider myself to be a consistent leader in the community, and in my time as staff, I have transferred that leadership into my work as well. Consistency and accuracy are two very different things, but I value both greatly. My ability to accurately assess situations in the community is a skill of mine, and my consistency in handling them properly has shown. I believe I can continue to work efficiently and progressively on the staff team.

What are your weaknesses? Patience is a great weakness of mine, yet I am actively working to improve upon it.

Humor can get the best of me sometimes, and often I do not realize when my humor is taken too far. Again, I have been working on this, and great improvement has been made.

Introduction: Hello! Yes, it’s that time again. As my forum name states, I’m Alexia. I’ve been playing Meepcraft for over two and a half years now. I’ve been staff twice and my entire time here has made me extremely happy.

Outside of Meep, I have several hobbies. I do professionally Scottish Dance, I’m working on being able to do competitive horse jumping, and I’m learning Pekiti which is a Filipino martial art. I enjoy drawing in both traditional and digital mediums and I’m working on a giant Pokemon embroidery. I don’t tend to watch lots of TV or shows, but I’m watching more Anime as of late. My favorites games include Minecraft, Elder Scrolls(Skyrim and Online), and The Last of us.

Why should you be Helper? - Experience and Knowledge
I have just under a half a year in experience as a staff member, and even though it’s been a year since I was last staff, the knowledge I gained from being a helper never left. I know all the ins and outs of prism, I know how to use it effectively, and I know when to apply it to get the job done. Previously, as a staff member, I showed an affinity for modreqs. I’m confident that in my third term as a staff member, I could further improve my work ethic and quality through the use of a positive attitude and strong leadership ability. I am aware that I showed an extremely negative aura during my previous two terms. Fortunately, I intend to learn from my previous mistakes and use these mistakes to make myself a stronger link in the staff team and an overall better person. I believe that a staff member who displays astounding leadership qualities, positive attitude, and efficiency would benefit any staff team. I believe I exhibit all of these qualities.

-Attitude
My attitude after I served my second term could only be described in one word, terrible. I was not in a good place in my life during this time, I was struggling with mainly with dealing with my nightmares, an issue I still experience to this day. This, coupled with a worsening drug problem and the passing of my two dogs, really degraded my attitude, both on Meep and in real life. Even with this attitude, my love for Meepcraft never changed. I want to see Meepcraft grow and change for the better. I find meepcraft worth fighting for, and I am not afraid in the slightest to dedicate myself to it.

Another thing I’d like to note here is that I can be remarkably unbiased in a professional setting. I am not afraid to admit that I dislike certain people on the server, but I will never let these feelings get in the way of my job. I am willing to issue a challenge to the current staff team, if I am caught being biased in anyway against any person, strip me from my rank.

-Worth Ethic and Activity
Usually, I am a laid back type of person, I find it very hard to start on something that takes a lot of time. However, once I’m passionate about something, I can never stop, momentum keeps building and I never lose focus. I’m also a great multitasker, I managed to teach Adlovesdogs and Cyber_Punk how to use prism during my second term of staff, all while maintaining a 30 modreq daily average. For my previous work as a helper, I’ve been accoladed by many respected staff members, such as Sjoepappentrap saying “You always worked your ‘butt’ off.”

Meepcrafters might like me because I am extremely accessible. I am available widely on Kik, Skype, the forums, and Teamspeak. Because of this, I am always open to suggestion, whether it comes from the players themselves or other members of the team. I believe staying accessible is very important due to recent conflict between staff and players.

On top of being consistently active in general, I can also be active on any timezone that’s necessary. I have a very loose schedule, being homeschooled grants me with a plethora of free time, and I don't mind in the slightest spending this free time working on Meep. This, coupled with my very strange sleeping schedule, makes it easy for me to moderate on the wee hours of the night, when most staff members are not on.

What are your weaknesses? I can say without a doubt that at least a quarter of you are going to shun me for my previous shortcomings as a staff and a community member. I am only asking you to put these qualms aside, and to give me another chance to prove to you all that I can be a mature and motivated staff member. My most recent demotion was almost a year and a half ago, because I sent many questionable messages to my close friend. I can guarantee that another incident like this, or another serious incident of any kind, will never happen again. I understand I still have a maturity and an attitude issue, but I swear I am improving and will continue to improve. If anyone has a question for me to answer concerning my past incidents, do not hesitate to message me anywhere you feel best!

Hello everyone, my name is William but most of you would know me as superbros1211.
I join MeepCraft about two years ago after hearing my brother and his friends talk about it. I was intrigued by why you would call a server MeatCraft so I joined. Only to discover that it was actually called MeepCraft! I joined my first town, Pigtown and was given assistant. It was then funky and myself's goal to make Pigtown the best it could be. Then.... the restart happened and I have been playing MeepCraft a lot more since then.

Now let's talk a bit about my personal life. I am in my first year of high school in Australia. When I am not Meeping, I enjoy spending my time on outdoors, especially Geocaching. I also enjoy racing recumbent trikes (photo courtesy of Platt Racing).

Why you should be Helper/Mod?

I have been Helper for a bit over 3 months now and I feel like it is the time to go up a step in the Staffing ranks. Through out my time as Helper I have learnt a lot about moderation, how to deal with cases and how to spot the things which aren't quite right.

Experience.

Throughout my 3 months as a Helper I have learnt many things. I now know how to deal with almost all cases which need moderation, how to take criticism and most of all, how the staffing system works. I have learnt how to use HawkEye and our new plugin as well as how to deal with criticism.

Work ethic.

I am very sorry however I am going to use the same quote from Steve Jobs as I used in my Helper app, only because I feel like this describes best how I work. "When you’re a carpenter making a beautiful chest of drawers, you’re not going to use a piece of plywood on the back, even though it faces the wall and nobody will see it. You’ll know it’s there, so you’re going to use a beautiful piece of wood on the back. For you to sleep well at night, the aesthetic, the quality, has to be carried all the way through." From the very beginning of my time as a Helper I have strived to do my best and to go the extra mile. I also look very highly upon other mods, supermods and admins and I try to learn from them and apply their skills into my work to make it the best it can be.

Dedication.

Although I don't know what other staff do, I do know that when ever I do a Modreq I always start it with a simple "Hello", or "Hey" and finish it with a "Have a good day". I feel like this is a great example of going the extra mile to help someone else. I also give the server a lot of love, time and affection. When jobs which need to be done pop up I try to claim them and the times I do get the I always put the extra hour in to do the best I can.

Weaknesses.

In my time as Helper I haven't dealt with any X-Ray cases (apart from one involving someone admitting).
Although I have done some, I haven't done very many luring cases.
For both of these I am just constantly on the lookout for a report or modreq about it!

Another issue is something which is out of my control. Because I live in Australia, I have only ever attended 2 staff meetings. One in the school holidays and one on a public holiday. The time which is best for most staff happens to be about 10:30am on a Monday for me which is when I have school. I have to admit, I am not entirely sure how to solve this however I am sure that I will be able to.

I've talked and a few others, I've thought about it overnight, but I don't think you are ready for the position right now. Yes, I do see you as potential staff and I know that you have been putting efforts to improve, but you still have much room to improve.

I agree that:

• You have made changes from the last application.
• You are chill and you would be a potential staff member.
• Your bans shouldn't be the reason to inhibit you from getting this position.

Here are my concerns that led me to think that you are not quite yet ready for this position:

• Interactions with all of the community: You said, "he doesn't like me so i dont like him", but that is not the way a staff member should handle a relationship in a community that is very close as this. People are going to dislike you as staff no matter what. They'll say that Courtneyyy is protecting you and all of those nasty things. It's just part of life and you need to stop being hostile to people, especially in global chat. You need to respect the fact that not everyone playing here is 18 years old. You have to approach each person differently and know that some people are not comfortable with your joking around and you have to accept that.
• Your favorite picking: I'm not saying that you will be a bad staff member, but I would absolutely hate to see someone in their staff position to be biased and unfair in cases. As staff of meepcraft, I would expect you to be fair in all cases. I don't know if you can do that, because you repetitively keep harassing those that don't like you and when you think something is funny when it's really not.
• Your application: To be fair, it was just too weak. And I know that it is not your greatest skill to write up formal job applications, but I know that you could've put more details. As you know, meepcraft currently has a large staff team and I don't think that they need more people to just do modreqs. Personally, I am looking for people that can change the environment of the server. I am looking for people that can move projects forward and bring the community together. And I know that you can do that, or at least attempt to, but it is not shown on your application.
• Your attitude that, you will have a drastic change when you get staff to prove yourself: That's not how it should work. A title shouldn't change anything. You just get green chat. I know that you have been trying to change yourself in a positive way from the last application, and you have shown some changes, but not drastic enough that you started fighting with people again for no reason but because "he hates me". I would like to hear that Frank is now respecting people all around, and not Frank was banned the seventy-first time because he blew up a town and then unbanned three days later. As I said last night, if your application gets denied, I wouldn't act up and actually work to change how you look on the server.
• Your maturity and your temper: I see that you have been working to improve this, and that is great, but I am not sure if it's at the level of a staff worthy person.

Always remember that you don't have to be a staff member to prove a change. Remember that you don't have to be a staff member to help others, and to make the server a better place. Don't be discouraged! I know you can do it. And I'm really glad to see the changes you've made and I'm looking forward to more!

Most people here need to understand aiming for higher staff positions is not something to be ashamed of and shaming them for wanting the ability to do more is not cool. Power hungry has been a term used to halt up and coming staff members and people in position of power for far too long. The worst part is it comes from people who simply misinterpret actions or things said.

Also that SS of that snap convo was worthless because it proved nothing bad about her.

Im a bit removed from the server but if theres one thing I do know how to do its read people and hestia the fact that you didnt mention your demotion and in your second post addressing comments you still didn't include it is somewhat worrying. I feel as though you should say why you were demoted, even if it is just your side of the story. Not doing so gives the appearance that you haven't accepted your reason or think its bull, either one is bad for your application.

When you were Helper, what I ascertained is that you were performing the exact minimum of what you had to do and the rest of the time you were just goofing off and being a nuisance. I'm fairly certain I'm not the only one who shares this opinion.

Keep in mind most of your issues are technical and require little to no effort to fix. You are only 12 years old; it is only natural you lack some skills required for the position. Keep in mind, while this may be your first application, you will have plenty more chances in the future to apply.

The most important thing I saw in this application is that you have potential. Your enthusiasm transcends most. The only thing you need is more experience to better yourself and your application.

I only helped you with your application, but I don't know what kind of person you are. Make sure to pay attention to all the constructive criticism everyone else gives you. It will help, however repetitive and generic it sounds.

it's not really surprising that veteran staff are -1 and newer staff are +1. i don't mean to put newer staff down, they just don't know what we had to go through.

vkl we get along. but you have time and time again shown you can't maintain the facade. i know you will leak info and will show in time that you are not staff material. im fairly certain
the only reason we get along is because im not staff anymore.

staff, please trust the oldest member of your team (andrew) and other people who worked through this. andrew and i have been dealing with vkl for 3 years.

When you applied quite a time ago, I knew you were qualified back then. You were mature, cool calm and collected. But now, after this incident I don't know why we should have a staff member like this.

You are quite active though, which is a plus, but work on your maturity issues.
