You need to go into the section of the forums you want to post the thread in then just click the button "create new thread"

I can't find the button xD

For me its in the top right corner... but I'm using my phone :) idk where it is on a laptop or mac

So you go to forums and them there is a list of sections e.g. Discussion and so on. Click on the one you want to post a thread in and then the button is at the top right for me
